Abilities: The ability to manipulate any type of magic

Unlike Marisa who wasn't naturally gifted with innate magic. Hoshi did, she has the ability possess any and above all types of spells beyond of a magician and youkai ranging from light to dark, healing and etc. any form of magic you name it and hoshi is able to create, shape, and manipulate magic to achieve supernatural effects and mystic powers through use of mystical practices, examples of practices include rituals, spells, potions and all its mystical forces. The practices of magic are the use of the supernatural that are built and ruled over magical energies and otherworldly rules/laws that many used to influence in reality. Magic has also been considered by many as the only true way to obtain power over the reality and the controls over nature itself beyond other magicians.

Thus, the ability of this can use magic in order to accomplish extraordinary feats, as they are not limited to merely using magic in accordance to it's specific laws, but manipulate the very essence, and in some cases, the very concept of magic itself, allowing her to transcend the rules of magic as well as create new ones, and utilize magical forces without directly relying on the systems and rules in question, making distinct from not only mages and others but individuals born with the natural ability to use magic, as they must still adhere to some basic laws

And without being ever have to tire her out almost making her god like with seemingly endless supply of magic at her disposal despite how much it's used

Other abilities:

Telekinesis: she can move around objects with her mind as pleased without any physical touch or effort

Flight: just like everyone in gensokyo she can fly even without the aid of her broom

Aura manipulation: she can sense other peoples auras and how they feel and it helps where to find targets easier and in addition helps her in battle as it can also pin point her foes weaknesses and even use it to increase here or others to make them mentally and physically stronger and increasing their other stats even their weapons or just a simple object

Teleportation: can teleport herself or others from one place to another instantaneously

Resistance: she has shown great immunity to all types of poison and immunity to extreme heat and cold weathers and can breath freely in space and can quickly adapt to new environments and breath in generally any dangerous poisonous or deadly gases that are fatal to normal humans and still be fine

fire magic: she can manipulate fire magic to a great extent uses it mostly to counter or burn attacks or just use them for mundane stuff

Ice magic: can manipulate ice magic to a great extent just like with fire magic mostly uses it to freeze attacks or foes, or just for mundane stuff

Energy drain: can drain her opponents energy with a laser blast

Spell casting: she can cast various spells in and out of other spell books

Super strength: despite her small petite like frame she can can lift up to over 8 trees like nothing and can carry up to 5 people with ease thanks to some experimentation with her potions and drinking to it to gain the strength

Magic absorption: she is capable of wielding magic related to absorption, assimilation and/or leeching. She utilize magical abilities or cast spells that allow her to drain or feed off of the targeted material or power (physical properties, energy, elements, organic substances, etc.)

Enhanced durability: she is able to withstand strong attacks and keep on going despite being badly hurt

Mimicry: she has the the ability to learn others abilities and magic and then uses them for her own but she doesn't use it too often (ex sakuya's stop time, remilia's divine spear etc.)

Illusion casting: is able to cast illusion of any sorts , there it be big or small environments

Curse: like a powerful magician she can puts on a horrible curse on anyone who she wants for as long as she desires but this ability has never been used (for now atleast?)

Speed: Hoshi can fly over any land of gensokyo in a few seconds and even flew around the earth twice and to the moon and sun in 3 seconds with great speed making her one of the fastest flyers in gensokyo

Weather magic: Hoshi can manipulate the weather to her will (so example if she wanted it to rain she can do it with just a thought)

Healing magic: Hoshi can heal any wound fatal or not to anyone even herself but she prefers to do it through her cooking/making a meal

Power stealing: Hoshi is able to steal anyone's magical powers or abilities if she desires though the person whom she stole it from will regain it eventually but it takes a long time to do it and due to it's dangerous capabilities she was not allowed to use it on anyone

Portal creation: Hoshi could make portals out of thin air to travel through places and can create many and even access in people's minds with it (similar to yukari) but still has to master it to travel to other worlds/universes

Skills:

Hand to hand combat: Hoshi through her younger days had learnt some hand to hand combat skills before using danmaku to beat foes and still to this day (but can't since she's gotten used to fighting through dankmaku so she's quite rusty with it)

Potion making: Hoshi over her years of training had learn to make potions extremely well such as poisons, cures, bombs, or just for wacky stuff and keeps note of them one after another

Broom combat: Hoshi uses her broom like a staff and fights with it efficient ease and uses her abilities to make their hits deadly in combat

Attacks:

Sweepy broom: Hoshi sweeps her broom up into the air and just hits the foe with it extremely hard to send them flying high

Sweeps the dust: Hoshi spins around her broom before throwing it to her foe at it

Stardust dragon: Hoshi throws series of colorful stars around her which explodes with great force and shoots out lasers into the sky

Sunlight crusade: Hoshi flies up to the sky and summons a series of lasers to her surroundings and shoots out yellow lasers around

Astral kick: lifts her leg up which burns with a flaming blue color and kicks at the opponents/object with great force and damage

Sunrise meltdown: summoning yellow orbs and shoots multiple series of lasers/stars in it while spinning around

Spell cards:

Star sign "Counterclockwise flow": summons a series of lasers that are clock like needles and spins around the area similar to that of a clock

Starlight heaven: summons many hexagrams and summons series of colorful stars and uses it to charge it at her opponents and chase them until they've been hit

Loving heart "Spinning love": summons out colorful heart like dankmaku surroundings herself with it and charges it at her opponents and change it's size to her will along the way

Weather sign "Rainbow fall": summons giant rainbow colored stars and throws it to her opponents which leaves massive damage behind it's wake (similar to reimu's fantasy seal just with stars, a lot of it)

Possessions:

Magic broom - Hoshi flies on a bamboo broom as part of her magician appearance. It's an ordinary broom, but constant exposure to magic has caused a curious growth to begin. Although the bamboo is dead, leaves appear to be sprouting from the handle, independently from Hoshi's magic and she also uses it to whack her opponents as well

Mini-hakkero - Hoshi holds a copied version of the mini-Hakkero, Hoshi's treasured item, is a furnace that she uses to power her signature Master Spark. From the flame of a table-top stove, to that of a flamethrower, to a powerful and unmatched wide magicannon, the mini-Hakkero has a convenient range of uses, It was given to Hoshi by Rinnosuke Morichika as a farewell gift when Marisa and Hoshi left their family to live in the Forest of Magic, even though it'd be risky for a girl of their age to handle.

Spell book:
A book full of unlimited spells and the pages seemed endless despite of how it looked (the book looks like in the pic above)

Wand:
A small wand stick she usually hides under her dress mostly uses it for shooting or for her danmaku
