Aidan quickly used his wand to clean Liv's room so that they wouldn't be in trouble later for the mess that Tom made. He didn't want to make Liv an enemy too for him. They had soon left the common room, realising that Liv had left without waiting for them. It had taken a few walking down the halls but eventually finding the classroom; once hearing Avery's annoying tone echo. They walked in, to see cauldrons, minerals and materials of all shapes and sizes. Maisie and Aidan spotted a few familiar faces such as Virginia, Cody and Dusk. "So, this must be Potions class." Maisie mumbled. "Oh my gosh, Maisie, Aidan! It's me Dicky! I'm over here, we're in the same class!" They looked over to see Dicky, in the front row, calling for them. "Woah, Dicky." She chuckled and Dicky begged for them to come over and sit with him. However, they both couldn't take the seats. "Why don't you take it, sis?" Aidan said to her. "What about you?" Maisie asked. "I'll...find a seat...somewhere." Maisie nodded, sitting next to Dicky. 

Aidan walked down the aisle of many chattering students. He looked over to see Zack, who was glaring at him...again. He still couldn't figure out what he did, why one of his old best friends was being so spiteful towards him. Luckily, Luke Ross was sat next to him so Aidan let out a small sigh of relief that he didn't have to sit with him. "Aidan! Over here!" Someone called out. It was Cody, and gesturing for him to come and sit with him. Aidan happily took it, speed walking away from Zack and Luke to Cody. "Hey Cody." He smiled, as he took his seat. "Oh, you're still alive!" Cody hugged his best friend tightly. "Well, yeah. Of course, I'm still alive." Aidan muttered in confusion. "I couldn't still take it that you are now in Viktia and I was like 'You are not going to last long there'." Cody vented. "You're right there, Cods." He nodded, hands on his cheeks. "Unfortunately." They looked over to see Cameron, staring them down. "What do you want, prissy pants?" Cody scoffed. "Nothing, just glad that Aidan and his little sister made it to Potions on time." Cameron replied, moving over to them slightly. "Um, okay..." Aidan mumbled. "And can't wait to see him fail."

"I mean, Potions, it's a tricky subject. And we all know that Viktias strive in Potions." Cameron bragged. "How?" Aidan questioned. "I don't know. Me, Avery and Delores are good at it, so every other Viktia should be too." Cameron said, as Delores and Avery from the desk behind them agreed. "Oh, cause you three are the leaders, aren't you?" Cody scoffed. "Oh, look, the little nerd finally got something right that's actually relevant." Delores piped up. "Hey, I'm the party boy!" Dicky butted in, leaning over to look at them. Maisie facepalmed in annoyance. Cameron raised an eyebrow and made his way over to Dicky, joined by Delores and Avery. "You may consider yourself the party boy, but tomorrow night, we're going to prove you wrong." He threatened the clueless boy, who didn't seem to think it was a threat. "That's because our party," Avery pointed to the three of them. "is going to be the best party in Dixiton Academy. With me and Delores' planning and Cam's DJ skills." She spat. 

"Uh, you mean our party as well?"

"And my DJing too, Avery."

The group looked to Liv, who was sat at a three-seater desk, and Zack behind them. "We did plan it together, we're doing it together." Liv stated. "Yeah, we know, hun, but me and Avery are the lead planners." Delores replied. "And plus, my DJ skills are slightly better so it makes me the lead too." Cameron said to Zack. "Wait, we never agreed on that! I thought we were going to plan together and the same with Zack and Cameron."

"Alright, everyone settle down." Viktor entered the classroom. The three populars sent the two looks, stating that they'd talk about it later, but the looks weren't nice-looking. "Ah, Aidan, Maisie, I see you both made it on time." Viktor spotted the two, smiling. "Yes, Vik...I mean, Mr Hargreeves. It's a pleasure to be here." Maisie responded. "Good to hear, uh, where is Liv and Zack?" The two raised their hands to be spotted. "Well, yes, you two may have not known but I was considering placing you both with Aidan and Maisie. Since you are their new pals." He explained. "Pal?" Cody and Dicky said together. "Excuse me?" Zack questioned as if offended. "Well, you two and Maisie and Aidan are good friends; especially you Zack with Aidan. Miss Granger tells me of your past with Mr Potter." Viktor started. "So, I considered that since they only just moved into Viktia, I think it's only right that you help them out in potions, don't you?" 

"They're not their friends!"

Viktor raised an eyebrow towards Cameron's comment, confused. "Well, you see, we aren't really that close. A-Also, my brother hasn't really seen his old friends in a while so he isn't really connecting with them at the moment." Maisie tried to clear up in the best way possible. Viktor wasn't going to take that for an answer, he told them that even with being friends or not, they still had to follow his rules. Delores tried to speak up but he silenced her. Liv and Zack could see that there was no choice and they had to do so, getting up from their seats and going to switch with their partners. "I don't mind moving, Mr Hargreeves, to the moon and back." He then winced at his comment. "Forget it, Mr Harper, go and sit with the girls." Dicky got up and sat with Delores and Avery; giving them a seductive look but the two just gagged. "Good luck." Cody whispered to his friend before getting up, sitting with Luke. Zack only gave Cody a small glance and then sat down, not even looking at Aidan. "Right, well now the seating is corrected, we can get on with the lesson." Viktor stated, Zack giving a scoff and Aidan bit his lip. 

"Today, you'll be in partners," Aidan gave a look of hope. "with the person you're sitting next to." His look then faded away; wishing he was back being tortured in another class. "Just my luck." Zack mumbled and Aidan tried to inhale the best he could. However, he kept calm. "Today, you'll be creating potions and using them on each other." Viktor announced. Everyone began to gasp in excitement, now excited for the class. "Why is everyone so excited?" Aidan asked Zack. "Well, we usually practice on animals and insects. Stuff like that, but I guess now it's not considered dangerous." The twin explained, refusing to still not face the musician. "But...I've never-"

"Done potions before, I know. That's what worries me." Zack scoffed, shooting a glare. Aidan kept quiet and looked away. "Please do not and try to harm each other, and for goodness sake, don't make a mess. Not like last time..." Maisie and Aidan became confused, the girl going to ask Liv what he meant. Liv just held her hand up and signalled that it shouldn't be mentioned. "I'll just say, someone had to be removed from the class." Maisie shut her mouth and understood.

"Well, since you know nothing about this sort of thing, I gathered all the equipment we would need." Zack said, placing the last piece of equipment on their desk. "Cool!" Aidan smiled. "Just shut up, why don't you?" Zack spat back. He tried to speak back but Viktor came over, keeping him quiet. "Aidan, like I asked your sister, am I right to assume that you've never done Potions before?" He asked the boy. "Well, back when I was eight, my father would sometimes make potions with me but I'd just watch instead of doing it. However, the memory isn't the brightest to me." Aidan explained. "So, that means he can't do it right?" Zack questioned, crossing his arms. "Now Zack, there's always a first. Just give it a try." Zack's small hopeful mood came down from those words and inhaled deeply.

"Alright, 'lauv' boy, let's see if you've got what it takes to prove you're a Viktia or that you aren't completely useless."
