RULES 🐾

(i.)  The event is hosted collectively by two communities. This means you can choose to enter the event via any of the host community's contest books. However, all the submissions from across all profiles will be compiled, and results will be declared accordingly. 

(ii.) This goes unsaid: be kind to everyone, hosts, and fellow participants alike. 

(iii.) Submit the tasks on time to avoid delay. Open for everyone!!

(vi.)  Be patient.
In case of dispute or issues, reach out to any of the host communities. We will surely try to sort out the matter if it happens.

(v.) Follow the community that you will be joining from. If you are joining from here, then follow SilverGoldCommunity.

(vi.) Only two books per user are allowed. Your stories must have five solid story based chapters that exclude character aesthetics, author notes, and playlists.
(vii.). Add this story to your reading list and give a proper shout-out.

(viii.) Be humble and kind when commenting on your assigned book.

(xi.) Go through how it works chapter properly.

ALL ABOUT COMMENTS 🐾

(i.) You will be paired with one partner per assignment. You two will be required to go through a certain number of chapters (minimum is 5) of each other's books and leave three inline comments per chapter and an overall review on the last chapter that you are supposed to read.

(ii.) In case you miss one week's task, you will not be mentioned in the next week's task until and unless you complete your pending comments. Once done you will again get included in the task and it will continue.

(iii.) Discouraging comments are not allowed.

(iv.) The overall comment should be at least a paragraph. It could be you commenting on how you feel about the characters' development and giving your opinions on where the plot could be improvised. Remember to be humble about your observations.

(v.) Examples of inline comments

- "Wow, this part is really interesting! I wonder how xx character will overcome this."
- "Loved this chapter and the introduction of YY character!"

- "I like how the phrase 'abcd' has been used in this paragraph."
- "This is a good read but I believe breaking this paragraph in two would do the story more justice."

(vi.) Example of an overall comment

- "I enjoyed reading your story so far. Aa is my favorite side character! I love how she deals with her emotions. Zz seems too wicked for me to trust, I can sense them creating serious trouble in the future.

However, there was more chemistry between the supporting characters than the protagonists. The introduction of the antagonist was sudden and abrupt, I would prefer if we got some backstory of them. Maybe you can try adjusting the scenes and include the antagonist in the story from the beginning? Giving them small but intriguing scenes? I really enjoyed this read, regardless. Good job!"
