Harriet Potter, the girl who lived, was born on the 31st of July 1978 with her twin brother, Harry Potter.

Lily and James Potter were getting the twins ready for bed, Harriet in her fathers arms and Harry in his mothers. Unknown to the family, someone was walking towards their house prepared to kill the Potters.

James went to lay Harriet in her crib when a bang was heard from downstairs. Lily turned towards her husband with a look of worry who returned the look "I'll go check it out" James told his wife as he handed her Harriet before grabbing his wand and exiting the bedroom.

Lily bounced the twins in her arms as she quietly sung a lullaby to try and calm the twins while she waited anxiously for her husband to return.

Lily Potter watched the hallway before seeing the green flash light up the walkway, the woman placed the twins in one of the cribs, kneeling down to their level.

"Mummy and daddy, love you two so much" Lily told the twins as she looked out of the door seeing a shadow closing in on the three.

The woman stood up, grabbing her wand off the bedside table before the shadow was now right outside the door.

Lily stared at the twins before back at the door "I love you both, never forget that" Lily whispers before the wizard walked into the room, letting the two words slip out of his mouth "Avada Kadavra" Lily Potter fell backwards as the killing curse took any life she had left in her.

As the dark wizard turned towards the twins he let the killing curse slip through his mouth but it was rejected, causing the feared wizard to disappear.

Little did Lord Voldemort know, Lily Potters sacrifice saved her two children. Creating the only two people more powerful than him.
