groaning, the girl reached out to her bedside table to grab it. being met with 100+ notifications she groaned again before lightly tossing it on the floor.

it was 6 am. she had a least 1 hour left ... and yet she couldn't fall asleep. thirty minutes later she sighed in defeat.

"i hate my life."

she picked up the phone that felt hot from the text messages she was getting and the notifications that had been sent.

"what the hell are they talking about." the girl sighed before building up the courage to check her account

blowing out some breaths and tapping on her phone faye looked at her spam first, with a sigh she realized she'd gained around 3k more followers than she had the night before. even better, her main page had shot from its original 10k to a whopping 50k.

"okay," faye laughed to keep from freaking out "no no this is totally fine." she tried again feeling the usual pool of anxiety fill her stomach

"i'm going to-" she started before hearing a ringing that happened to be a call from the same person she wanted to yell at

"i'm going to fucking murder you." she started the conversation

"good morning to you too," vinnie laughed

"is this funny to you?"

"a little bit?"

"this is all your fault. and when i see you i'm going to hurt you." she threatened again

vinnie stifled a laugh this time "i didn't tell you to un-private your accounts, did i?"

the girl scoffed, "really? and i didn't say 'hey vinnie i look really good you should take a picture of me. even though, i know you have a whole fanbase of obsessed 12 year olds who constantly want to be railed by you' did i?" she mocked

"no i guess you didn't, but you did look good." he tried

"no. you can choke." faye finished as she hung up the phone

faye felt better knowing that her friends were standing up for her, it's not like she didn't expect them to (okay maybe not vinnie) but it helped the anxiety settle a little faster.

school lunchroom

ever since her first ever tiktokroom encounter, faye's been on higher alert of things she says on the internet. not that it's much, but it made her uneasy knowing that people were watching her now. sure she had around 20k people on tik tok at first, but now her account has been reaching towards 110k. not that it's all vinnie's fault, though.

anyway, now she sat there on a monday morning stabbing at her food with a fork while her friends talk about ... whatever.

"oh my god, get off of me!" a girl yelled loud enough in the lunchroom that attention went on her

"please do not make a scene, miss del marco." the teacher tried to reason, putting a hand on her shoulder

"it's allison. and i already told you, nicely might i add, not to touch me." allison remarked, shaking out of his grip

"well allison." he started off bitterly "you can tell this situation to the principal."

the girl groaned before turning out of the lunchroom, but not before she gave a staring faye a wink.

kara laughed as faye put her head down, "ouu what was that." kara teased

"nothing, i don't even know who she is." faye shrugged, playing with her food again

"oh, allison?" selene asked getting a nod from kara and faye "i don't know much about her i mean i haven't even spoke to her but i know her and vinnie dated freshman year." selene smiled before giving vinnie a pat on the arm that was wrapped around her

the boy rolled his eyes, "it was like for three months. it was nothing, really."

"nothing? but you-" brandon started with food in his mouth, but vinnie smacked him with his open arm before brandon could get anything out

"like i said, nothing." vinnie smiled

the group grabbed their things after the signal that it was time to get to class. selene and vinnie walked off first, followed by a complaining brandon on how they always leave him. kara then came to faye's side.

"alright come on we have english next." kara hooked their arms together before trying to push fastly down the halls

but faye stopped in the middle, breaking their arms "i have to go to the bathroom, but you go so mrs. kahn won't be on your case too."

kara observed the girl before groaning and finishing her journey to class without faye.

faye wandered around trying to find the nearest bathroom but instead was met with the girl that she saw earlier sitting on a chair outside a classroom.

"what are you doing here?" faye asked curiously

"why do you wanna know?" allison teased tilting her head to the side

faye shrugged "i dunno, i was just wondering that's all."

faye was gonna walk away but allison caught her arm.

"i didn't mean it like that." allison began "but uh the teacher said i could wait out here instead. because of the whole thing in the cafeteria."

faye nodded not sure what else needed to be said.

"but you're faye, right?"

in all honesty, faye was a little shocked that allison even knew her name.

so she nodded again, "yeah. and you're allison."

faye looked at the clock noticing that she didn't need to be any later.

"i should probably go see if i'm clear to go but, hopefully we'll see each other more." allison smiled getting up from her spot

"yeah ... hopefully."
