⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯  ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 3⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

Ashley Sato had been sitting on the floor in the airport for almost forty minutes, and during that time she had scrolling a little on her phone and texted her dad, given the dog next to her a few treats.

And she wasn't the only one that had given him treats, a few kids with their parents had gone up to her and asked if they could pet Rocky, and she of course said yes knowing he loves getting attention.

So she had asked the kids if they wanted to give him a treat or two, which they got excited about, even after they all had left the Pomeranian's small tail was still wagging with all the attention he had gotten in less than an hour.

Than while scrolling on her phone through some new instagram posts, she heard a worker that was standing by gate 'G7' the one she was gonna board her plane at announce for everyone that the gate was now open so people could start boarding.

Looking at her phone to see what time it was now, she read '13:10', it seemed like a reasonable time to start boarding before the flight actually leaves.

Lifting the small dog off her lap and into the cage and locking it, getting up from the floor, when she stood straight she reached down to her backpack that was unzipped so she zipped it to and then put her arms through the straps, picking up the untouched plastic bag, and then Ashley reached to take a hold of the cage her dog was just laying in.

It took about ten to fifteen minutes till it was her turn to give her passport and boarding pass to the working standing by a small bench with a computer on it, already holding the two things she was gonna hand over to the lady in her right hand, it only took her a few second before she handed them back and politely said 'Enjoy your flight'.

Thanking the woman and made her way into the small tunnel that was connected with the plain she was gonna be on in a few second.

Just following the people who was walking in front of her till she was met with two flight attendant who greeted everyone, saying her own 'Hello' to the women with a polite smile before she continued behind the other passengers walking before her.

It didn't take that long before she found her seat which was located next to an older couple already sitting in the aisle and middle seat who were engaging in a conversation, when the woman who sat in the middle seat noticed she stopped the conversation and spoke to her.

"Oh is this your seat, Sweetie?" pointing her finger to the empty seat on her right.

"Uh, I think so." the Sato girl said in a bit of a questioning tone while looking up at the small sign that showed the seat numbers, and to her boarding pass.

"Well you can you scotch right past us, Honey."

"Thank you, ma'am."

Before she would walk past them she placed her dog down and quickly took the plastic bag and put it up in the luggage compartment, taking off her bag and put it up there as well, 

The elderly couple moved their legs slightly so it would be easier for her to move past them, seating herself down and the cage down floor by her feet.

She reached into her pocket and took her phone out, she messaged her dad that she had gotten on the plain and was now waiting for it to take off, which he immediately responded to, with how excited he was currently feeling.

And the last thing Ashley sent to her dad was that she was gonna put her phone on airplane mode, he texted back and said that he would see her in about fourteen hours.

'Hey, sitting on the plain right now, and I think it's about to take off soon.'

'Awesome. Gosh I can't wait till you finally get here.'

'Same, I'm so excited to see you and all the cool places. But now I have to put my phone on Airplane mode. See you in Japan!'

'See you in about 14 hours, Honey.'

Placing her phone in her lap and turn to the right to look out the small window and just watched as the people working outside did their job, and not long after the captain announced over the speakers in the plain that it was time to take off and for everyone to put their seatbelts on, which had a flight attendant show how to do it with a spear.

Buckling herself up and adjusted to make sure the cage on the floor was standing in between her feet, and not a second later it was time for take off.
