Prongs, dearest,
I once read in a muggle book, "When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, who weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home."
Prongs, my dearest, i have sung my song. I sang it every time i saw your face, every time i stood among the marauders. I harmonised along to its tune every time i held my friends in my arms, every time my hands held theirs. I danced to its very rhythm every time i raised my wand for us, every time i bled for the best.
Prongs, our dearest, you are one of a kind, a glittering ruby in a chest of diamonds. I love you not now, but for ever.
Prongs, the dearest, this is a confession of never ending love, but of what value you held in my heart, one that no galleons could ever fulfil.
Prongs, I do wish I had more time, for I still have to be Lily's bridesmaid, but alas, time is only so long until you breath your last goodbye. And after all, I did promise to always be by my Reggae's side, did I not ?
With love, not as a lover, but as a friend, a companion. An ally, a trustee. One who shall stay in the soil, if not on land.
Cassie
