My mind was consumed with anxiety as thoughts of Jennie raced through my head. How on earth would I ever meet her? What should I wear? What if she doesn't like me? But most importantly, what is wrong with me? Why am I acting so desperate in front of her?

These questions tormented me, leaving me no choice but to seek solace in the presence of Alice Unnie. I found her sitting on a bench, seemingly lost in the beauty of nature. With a forced smile, I cautiously approached and took a seat beside her.

"Do you need my help?" Alice said, her tone filled with an eerie calmness.

"How did you even know I was here?" I stammered, my voice trembling with unease.

"I... I am a werewolf, sister," she said, as a matter of fact.

"I know that, but I can't hear anyone's moments so intensely," I replied, my eyes piercing into her soul.

"I am a Beta," she whispered, like it was a no big deal. And looked at me.

For a moment, we locked eyes, and without wasting another second, I dropped to my knees and bowed before her, a gesture of utmost reverence.

To my astonishment, Alice mirrored my actions, bending down beside me.

"What... what are you doing, Unnie?" I asked, bewildered by her unexpected response.

"We are hiding from someone, aren't we? Well, I am hiding too," she whispered, her voice filled with a hint of fear.

"I'm not hiding, I'm simply showing you the respect you deserve by bowing before you," I explained, desperately trying to make sense of the situation.

"Why? This has never happened to me before, not even during my Excursion to a different pack house," Alice pondered, her confusion evident.

"Wait, you went to a different pack house?" I questioned, my anxiety momentarily forgotten as curiosity took over.

"Yes, my dear sister, because one of our mothers was from that pack, the leader of that pack took me in since I was a b-beta" she whispered, her voice filled with hesitation.

A pang of sadness washed over me as I realized that I, being an Omega, was the reason we sisters were forced apart.

"And on that fateful day, I first laid eyes upon her, the only one amidst a sea of trembling souls. She exuded a commanding presence, a power that made everyone cower in fear. But I... I was drawn to her," she reminisced, her voice tinged with melancholy.

I could see the longing in her eyes, the way they glistened with unspoken emotions. She forced a smile, but it held a hint of sorrow, a reflection of the unrequited love that weighed heavily on her heart.

"Why do you wear such a mournful expression?" I asked, my voice filled with concern.

"Because, my dear, she probably doesn't even know of my existence," she replied, her voice laced with a profound sadness that echoed through the room.

I tried to reassure her, to convince her that her presence had surely left an impression. But deep down, I knew the pain of unrequited love all too well.

With a heavy heart, I informed her that I had to meet someone, and she reluctantly agreed to help me choose a dress.

"Yes! I've found it! I've been searching for this dress for what feels like an eternity," she exclaimed, her voice tinged with a mix of excitement and desperation.

She approached me, holding out a red, short dress. But as I looked at it, doubt crept into my mind.

"Are you certain that I should wear this?" I questioned, my voice filled with uncertainty.

"Yes, my dear, wear this dress. It possesses a charm that could captivate anyone who lays eyes upon you," she replied, her words carrying a loving tone.

I couldn't help but let out a dreamy smile as I imagined Jennie's face, completely astonished by what she would see. I daydreamed about the love, care, and even a hint of lust that would sparkle in her eyes when she looked at me.
With excitement bubbling inside me, I decided to change into the new dress.

It was a gorgeous red dress with a cute bow at the neck and a stylish belt around the waist. The shoulder side had a daring cut, adding to its overall charm. However, as I slipped into it, I couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable. Fashion can sometimes come at a price!

I made my way to Jennie's house and knocked on her door. To my surprise, Jennie herself opened the door, and her mouth dropped open in awe when she saw me. It was as if her gaze had the power to shrink me down to size.
"Come inside," she commanded, her voice filled with excitement.

I followed her inside, and to my delight, the interior of her house was just as amazing as the exterior. It was like stepping into a dream.
Jennie grabbed my hand tightly and led me up the stairs, her energy contagious. We entered a room, and before I knew it, she playfully pushed me onto the bed and climbed on top of me. My heart raced with anticipation as she leaned in, biting my ear gently, causing me to let out a playful moan.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted our imaginary escapade. "What happened, sister? What's with the sound?"
It was all in my head, a figment of my wild imagination.

Embarrassed by my own thoughts, I lightly tapped my head with my hand and snapped back to reality. With a sheepish smile, I opened the door, ready to face the real world once again.

"Oh my goodness, girl, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!" She squealed, completely fangirling over my appearance. I couldn't help but cover my ears playfully, pretending to be overwhelmed by her enthusiasm."Wow, thank you so much!" I replied, trying to match her excitement. She continued to shower me with different items, insisting that I take them all."Sister, this is more than enough," I protested, but she waved off my comment with a mischievous grin."Nothing is ever enough when it comes to spoiling my amazing sister!" she exclaimed, her love for me shining through. I couldn't help but genuinely smile, feeling grateful for having such a loving and kind sister in my life. She handed me eyeliner, various other makeup products, hair serum, and even a pair of killer black high heels. We both got to work, applying dark makeup to create a bold and edgy look. She was clearly having a blast, and I couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm. Finally, she turned me around to face the mirror, and I gasped at my reflection. I looked completely transformed!"Do you like it?" she asked, a hint of nervousness in her voice, but also an air of expectation."Actually-" I began, teasing her a little, but she closed her eyes and let out a dramatic sigh."I LOVED IT A LOT!" I exclaimed, unable to contain my excitement. She immediately jumped up from her spot and enveloped me in a tight hug."Now go, you don't want to be fashionably late, right?" she said, playfully nudging me towards the door. I shook my head, laughing, and quickly called a cab to take me to my destination. With my amazing sister's love and support, I knew I was ready to conquer the world - or at least the meeting with The Alpha, Jennie!

The cab was taking forever to come, so I just decided to walk the distance. But I guess destiny had something else for me because the next minute there were five drunk men, who were looking at me lustfully.

"What is a beautiful woman like you doing here?" A man said coming closer to me, his voice dripping with creepy anticipation.

I didn't say anything and kept walking in the direction of Jennie's house, trying to ignore their presence.

Suddenly, one of the men grabbed my hand tightly, his grip sending shivers down my spine.
"Answer him," He demanded, his breath reeking of alcohol.

"Just let me go," I said, struggling to get my hand out of his grasp, my heart pounding in fear.

"None can do," He said with a dirty smirk on his face, inching closer to me.

As panic started to consume me, a voice cut through the tension, filled with authority and a hint of humor.

"Hey, leave that beautiful lady," the voice commanded, sounding like a hero straight out of a cheesy action movie.

I looked for the direction from where the voice came from and practically gasped in surprise. It was that hanky- I mean the man who I gave a piece of my skirt to.
He looked at me while narrowing his eyes, clearly not recognizing me.

"Do I know you, miss? Why are you looking at me like that?" He said, oblivious to our previous encounter.

My mouth fell apart, and I was looking at him like he was crazy, how could he forget me? We met just yesterday.

"I am Rosé," I exclaimed, hoping to jog his memory.
He looked unsure, ah- I remembered just now, I hadn't told him my name.

"That girl- who gave you her skirt for hiding-" I started but was interrupted.

"That's enough, I remembered," he said, embarrassed and in a hurry, as if trying to save face.

"Do you both think this is some kind of romantic film?" Said one of the drunken men, breaking the tension with a slurred remark.

I looked in front of me, realizing I had almost forgotten that I was still in the man's hold, the fear creeping back in.

Suddenly, the handsome man came in front of me, yanking the man away from me with surprising strength.
He pushed the man with slight force, or at least that's what it seemed, but the man got launched like a rocket, flying a hundred meters away. Just tell me, how strong can this man be?
He looked at me and smiled sweetly, his demeanor shifting from intense to charming in an instant. Is he a bipolar? Or maybe he's just a fearless, funny man.

I can't believe how quickly everything happened. One second, the men were there, and the next, they vanished into thin air. It was like they were never even here.
And then, out of nowhere, the man pops up and waves his hand at me.
"Hello miss?" he says, trying to play it cool.

"Oh-yeh, I mean, how are you?" I blurt out, feeling like a total idiot.
Seriously, brain? Could you be any more awkward? I mentally facepalm myself for asking such a dumb question.

"Umm... I am fine?" he replies, sounding just as unsure as I feel.

"Me too, uh, even if you didn't ask," I mutter, mentally beating myself to death for sounding so stupid.

Then, he goes and asks me what I was doing there. Great, just great. Now I have to come up with a decent answer while trying not to sound like a complete fool.

"Oh, I was going to meet up, umm, someone," I tell him honestly, fidgeting nervously.

He eyes me suspiciously before bursting into laughter. Like, hysterical laughter. What's so funny, dude?

"You must really like this man if you changed your whole attire," he says, still chuckling.

I feel my face turn as red as a tomato. "It's a girl," I blurt out, hoping to set the record straight.

"Oh, you love girls? Ouch, and here I thought maybe I had a chance," he says, dramatically clutching his heart as if it's broken.

"No, that's not it. I don't like anyone. It's just that she asked me to come meet her at her house. Nothing else," I explain, desperately trying to avoid his gaze.

He smirks at me, clearly enjoying this little game. "You sure?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.

I simply nod, not wanting to give him any more ammunition to tease me with. Ugh, why do these things always happen to me?

"Alright, listen up, I am not going to force you to tell me or anything, but just so you know, I'm right here if you feel like spilling the beans. And hey, if you need a ride to your destination, I'm your guy. 'Cause let me tell you, you are drop-dead gorgeous, and anyone with half a brain would be head over heels for you, or worse!" He blabbered on and on.

I was all ears, hanging on to every word this guy was saying, until he started talking about me. I tried my hardest, but there was no stopping the blush that was creeping up my cheeks.

"And let's not forget about that tantalizing scent of caramel and chocolate," he added with a smirk.

I stared at him in disbelief. How the heck did he know?

"How in the world did you catch a whiff of my scent? I go to great lengths to keep it under wraps." I said in disbelief.

"Well, my friend, as an Alpha, my senses are off the charts compared to regular werewolves. No matter how hard you try to hide it, an Alpha will sniff it out." He said waving his fingers here and there.

I immediately bowed my head, feeling like a total fool.

"S-Sorry, I-I didn't realize you were an A-alpha," I stammered, not knowing what else to say.

"No worries, and quit with the formalities," he brushed it off like it was no big deal. But for me, it was a whole lot.
I should've seen it coming; the guy was sharp as a tack, and things wouldn't be the same anymore. Talking to him would be anything but normal.

"I never did ask where you were headed. Care to share the address?" He asked like it was a daily chore for him.

I was on the verge of a full-blown panic attack around this Alpha, whose name I still didn't know, and I sure as heck wasn't gonna ask. Knowing his position, it just added another layer of intensity.

"It's all good. I'm practically there anyway," I lied through my teeth.

No way in hell was I going to an Alpha's house with another Alpha.

He simply flashed me a kind smile and waved goodbye, but I didn't wave back.
I took a deep breath and continued on my way to Jennie's house. Still had a long way to go, but hey, at least I survived that encounter with Mr. Alpha...
