Lunch time and he quickly finished his meal. Leaving the cafeteria, not looking back at his friends. Letting out a deep sigh as walked down the hallway. To the exit leading to the school garden.

"This is pointless." Sunghoon blurted out, sitting on one of the benches. Running two hands through his hair. All messed up like his love life.

Now I want all of you to know that your tired narrator is currently taking shots every time those two lovebirds start avoiding each other again.

"Why am I even avoiding him!" He exclaimed, wanting to throw a tantrum but it would be most embarrassing as he is still in school grounds.

He huffed, looking around if there were any students near. Before taking out his phone, texting a dear friend.

Viewing his stupid friend's texts, he nudged Heeseung's arm. Showing him their chat history.

"Wow, so he's that kind of boyfriend." The older snickered. Jake lightly smacked his shoulder, midkey flustered at how Heeseung's face was close to his. Too close.

"Just go tell Jay about it." Jake shooed him away in attempt to draw Heeseung's attention away from him.

And so he did. Well currently poking Jay's shoulder who only wanted to eat peacefully. Smiling at how adorable Jay is when he's sulking. But not cuter than you-know-who.

"Yes, hyung?" He tiredly asked. Sometimes he just want to throw himself at the older, vent to him about everything as he is the only whom he can call as 'hyung'.

Heeseung quietly whispered him about Sunghoon. Jay felt like breaking his whole self apart. "He really cares about me. He shouldn't have."

"Jay, are you really, really doing okay?" The older questioned, concerned about the younger. Of course, Heeseung can easily notice how their relationship is slowly becoming unstable day by day.

"I am. I'm fine, hyung." Jay looked down in shame as tears pricked his eyes.

"Jay.. you need to stop lying to yourself."

He nodded, thinking of countless possibilities if he never yelled at him like that. If his life wasn't messed up from the start. If he didn't expect too much from his own self.

"I'm leaving the student council."

"WHAT?!" Jungwon yelled, getting the attention of other students.

"Apologies, uhm- WHAT??"

"Yeah.. sorry, Won. I need to focus on the upcoming exams this semester," Jay explained not-so calmly. More and more pressure was falling onto him and he needed to focus on fewer things during this time.

"I understand, but are you sure you can't stay just for this winter event? We really need your help too.." Jungwon sighed, fully knowing that the older has made up his mind. But it still wouldn't hurt to try.

"I'm really sorry but I can't.." The younger nodded, letting Jay out of the room. Informing their president about his decision.

From outside, Jay tried calling Sunghoon about his whereabouts. Though he never picked up. He just hope that he arrived at home safe and sound as the clouds where starting to show up with a dark shade of grey.

As he flopped on his bed, he quickly grabbed his phone from the side table. Distracting himself with random posts and videos from Twitter. But most of them didn't help. 

I mean it was about eleven in the evening and he's feeling lonely. Not to mention that it's currently raining and thundering which didn't help him at all.

"Do I just approach him?" Sunghoon asked to himself, staring at the ceiling for a bit then giving in. "Fuck it."

Carefully knocked on the other's bedroom door once. Twice. And a third time. But that's when he noticed the door was already slightly open. Sunghoon just wants to bury himself right there.

Gently opening the door a bit more, he saw a figure silently sleeping despite the sound of the rainfall from outside.

Walking towards the side of the older's bed, Sunghoon checked if Jay wasn't uncomfortable in any way. Knelt down on the carpeted floor, laying his head on his crossed arms that was resting on the bed.

People might say he's a creep as he's admiring a sleeping beauty. Though the both of them were close enough to break into each other's rooms in the middle of the night.

"Sunghoon..?"

"You're awake—?"

"Well I am now since I felt something unusual in my room." Jay quietly laughed, sleepiness still evident in his tone.

"Ah right, I should probably leave." Before he could, he was stopped by a hand on top of his.

"No, stay. I know how you are with thunder, darling." As soon as he said that, a loud clap of thunder interrupted their moment. Followed by a flash of lightning that could possibly blind someone's pair of eyes. 

"Thanks, Jay-ah." Lying down beside him, burying his head in the other's chest. It was an lie if I said that Sunghoon didn't feel any butterflies inside of him because of the pet name.

And now, the only thing audible is the younger's soft snores and the sound of raindrops falling on the ground. This time, they weren't alone tonight.

Jay glanced at Sunghoon one more time before planting a kiss on his fluffy hair.

"I'm sorry for what I said two days ago.."

It's just that he was too stressed to think properly which caused his outburst that night.

Exhaling, Jay finally thought of sleeping knowing that the younger is going to stay in his bed until the crack of dawn.

But let's just say that Sunghoon was only half asleep and actually heard what the other said.
