"Look, if he tried anything, i've got your back." Allison spoke to Addy as they watched TJ. "My eyes are locked on the prize."

"Okay, i'm heading in." Addy announced, hurrying over before TJ had the chance to leave. Moments later, Addy had managed to lead him to the dance floor. Allison hurried toward the DJ.

"Can I request a slow song?" she begged. "Please. Any slow song."

He gave a knowing look, Allison pulled a ten from her bra. "Now?"

He took it, I'm On Fire by AWOLNATION played moments later. Allison's recognized it quickly, remember it had played on a rather gentle moment in Fifty Shades Of Gray, which she was thankful for after it being her first sex movie she'd ever seen. Addy gave her a little nod as she swayed with TJ, Allison planting herself but the punch again.

There he was.

Simon smiled at Allison from across the dance floor, under the dimmed blue lights as he stood in a tux. Not him, only her mind, but still, there he was. Allison blinked, giving a sad smile as she ended up walking forward. He met her in the middle of the dance floor. "I always hated school dances."

"Then what are you doing here this time?" Allison rose her eyebrows, inhaling as she stared back at him.

"Well, I did sorta promise to go to prom with you." he gave a half grin, nodding. "Considering you'd be eighteen, and, well, I'd be alive. Maybe i'm glad I died, didn't have to go to that thing."

Allison smiled, shaking her head. "Probably would have been shitty anyways."

"What, with you?" he gave her an odd look, shaking his head. "I don't think I could have a shitty time if you were there."

Allison forgot, right then and there, that he was gone.

"So, let's dance before this song ends." he suggested, nodding. "Or before I change my mind."

"I thought it wasn't possible for me to touch you." Allison spoke honestly.

Simon chuckled. "You can do whatever you want, Allison. It's your head, after all."

Leaning in, she did touch him. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders, her head falling onto his shoulder. His arms around her waist was difficult to comprehend, because it felt so real. Allison shut her eyes, her chest felt heavy. "I wish you were here."

"I know." he hummed, swaying with her on the dance floor. Allison pulled back to looked at him. "This is the exact thing we always made fun of."

"I know." Allison laughed slightly, leaning in as she kissed him. Pulling back, Simon moved his thumb to whip the single tear on her cheek.

"Anytime you miss me-" Simon began, his thumbs brushing over her eyelids to get her to shut them. "-you just have to close your eyes, and i'll be with you again."

A hand grasped her wrist. "Allison."

When she opened her eyes, she still stood by the punch bowl. The tear will still on her check, not whipped. She brushed it away immediately, turning to see who had grabbed her. "TJ?"

She looked to the dance floor, seeing Addy with Jake now. How did she miss something like that? Her entire job was to watch. He nodded. "Just wanted to come say hey."

"Oh, hey." Allison forced a smile. "Enjoying your night?"

"Not really." he said honestly. "I was gonna go smoke, wondering if you wanted to come?"

Allison opened her mouth to talk, but Janae saved her as she got on the mic on stage. "Hey! Hey, hello! Um. Its the moment you've all been waiting for. It is time to announce your homecoming cis-royalty, or whatever.ย  Um, your homecoming king and queen are... TJ. Yes, woo! TJ! You-You know him. Yep. And Addy. Addy Prentiss. You all know her. She's famous, right? So, give it up for those two! Come on. Whoo! Time for your little dance cause that's what happens now, right? TJ. Addy."

Allison looked back at TJ. "You gonna go up there?"

"I don't think so." he exhaled. "So, wanna smoke?"

Allison's hesitated, but if Addy was gonna screw up the plan for Jake, then someone would have to fall through. And Janae didn't just do that humiliation for nothing. "Yeah, let's go."

"Jesus, this dude is a walking 80s movie stereotype." Simon mocked from behind Allison, she watched as he lit up his joint on the roof. "What are we even doing here?"

"So, prom is pretty lame." Allison spoke, feeling on edge and hoped Simon would get out of her head.

"Don't really know why I came." TJ said honestly with a shrug.

"You and Addy looked like you were having fun." Allison tried to lighten the mood in order to not feel so awkward and uncomfortable, standing with a potential murderer on the roof of the school, alone.

"Until she chose Jake over me...again." he exhaled, blowing smoke. His phone lit up in his pocket. Allison cleared her throat, throwing herself at him in a tight hug. "Ugh, hello?"

"To help your night." she cringed at her own words, grasping his phone and crossing her arms behind her back. "This has been so fun, but my ride is right-"

The door opened, Addy and Cooper. Allison looked over, her eyes wide. TJ looked confused, catching on. Addy panicked. "Allison, run!"

The taller girl took off toward the entrance, TJ yelling out for some type of explanation, Cooper slamming the roof door shut and locking him on the outside. Allison took a breath as Addy grabbed her arm. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." the girl inhaled. "Just extremely out of shape."

Holding the phone up, she hummed. "I got the drugs though."

"You got the drugs." Cooper grinned, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Running down the stairs, they met Janae, Maeve, Bronwyn, and Nate at the bottom.

"Good news. Allison's got TJ's phone." Addy grinned as she held up the device.

"Bad news. I think I punctured my lung." Allison nodded, clutching her chest.

"More bad news." Maeve held an Epipen up. "You might be going to jail, Addy."

"I have no idea how that got in my locker." Addy said honestly, she looked at Allison mainly. "Whoever's sending you those messages did it. Somebody who wants to frame me. TJ! We have his phone now, so we can check."

"Maeve, can you go somewhere safe and go through his phone? We have to figure out where he was last night." Bronwyn spoke up, looking to Allison. "You said he dropped you off? What time?"

"A little past one, i'm pretty sure." Allison nodded, pulling her green dress up some after running so much. "He didn't mention going anywhere."

"Okay, Janae would you go with Maeve? Make sure she's okay." Bronwyn looked toward the blonde hopefully. She held her hand out, taking the pen as the two walked away with TJ's phone. "I just didn't want them around while we talk about destroying evidence."

"Say that again?" Cooper gapped at her.

"Do you want to go to the cops? Explain how we got it?" Bronwyn nodded toward the Epipen.

"They wouldn't believe Addy." Nate shook his head. "They wouldn't believe any of us."

"You guys believe me, right?" Addy looked down in disappointment.

"I do. This is clearly a set up. We all know you're smarter then to leave evidence in your locker, again." Bronwyn agreed.

"I wanna figure out who killed Simon so they can pay." Allison's looked at Addy with a sad look. "But, I have to believe that non of you did it. I stand by my gut. She's usually right."

"If we destroy this thing, we're committing a crime together." Bronwyn spoke honestly as she looked at each of them. "There's no going back from that. And if any of us tells, we're all fucked. Are you ready for that? I for one don't thing anyone here killed Simon, like Allison said."

"Me either." Addy agreed.

"Same." Nate nodded.

"Mother fuckers." Cooper exhaled, looking up with a shake of his head. "All right, well, how do we even do it?"

"I have an idea." Bronwyn said with an exhale.

"Anybody having second thoughts?" Addy asked, the five staring at the Epipen locked in the small glass.

"What's one more felony between friends, right?" Nate shrugged.

"He'd probably like this anyways." Allison spoke honestly. "Laughing it up in..wherever, right now."

"So, now we're friends?" Cooper turned back to Nate's previous statement.

"I guess. We're as friendly as you can get when you're not 100% sure the other person isn't framing you for murder." Bronwyn exhaled, leaning forward as she lit the end of the EpiPen on fire, the five watching it burn right before their eyes.

It wasn't long before they headed back into the room where Maeve and Janae were. "Good news. The EpiPen is taken care of."

"Bad news. You guys were wrong about TJ." Maeve exhaled, holding his phone.

"I'm not really loving this routine." Addy have an anxious rock to her heels.

"Yeah, well, Janae and I just went through his phone and the entire time that TJ was suspended he was surfing, getting N and Out, going to that coffee shop, or at home youtubing Dooms Day Prep videos. The point is, he wasn't stalking Addy at the water park, and he wasn't stalking Allison, turns out he probably just knows where she lives from his original story about Jake and Addy. He was miles away from the movie theater when someone else took a picture of you guys."

"So, the killers still out there." Cooper confirmed.

"Yeah, it's great." Janaes voice cracked. "Cause that went nowhere. And, I made myself a target tonight. For nothing."

"You didn't do that for nothing. We all appreciate what you did, me especially." Allison reassured her quickly with a shake of her head.

"That was also for Simon." Maeve turned around to look at her. Janaes face fell, Maeve reached for her hand as Janae let a small cry escape her lips, waking off.

A pain fell into the pit of Allison's stomach, traveling all within her chest. She knew it, she'd felt it, she still was feeling it. Hesitantly, she followed Janae. Maeve caught her arm. "Let me go after her."

"No, I understand what she feels." Allison spoke with a head shake.

"Yeah, we know." Maeve mumbled.

"Maeve." Bronwyn warned her.

"Am I missing something? Did I do something to you?" Allison gave Maeve a questionable look.

"Not you." Maeve stared up at her, walking past her quickly, hurrying after Janae.

Allison looked to Bronwyn in questioning. "What did I do?"

"Nothing." Bronwyn exhaled, leaning back on the bench. "Could someone really have come into the room, put the peanut oil in his cup, and not be seen in, like, what? Three seconds?"

"We were the only ones who could." Cooper sat next to her.

"Except for Miss Avery." Bronwyn added.

"Yeah, what's her motive? I mean, Simon didn't have anything on her." Nate said honestly, sat at Allison's feet. "I mean, Allison? Anything mentioned?"

"No. I told you, he never wanted to talk about everything he knew with me." Allison shook her head, leaning her head back against the wall. "But, he did know everything."

"What if Simon didn't post all the secrets he knew? What if sometimes he would trait for better gossip?" Cooper asked honestly.

Allison titled her head. "Sounds like him."

"How would you know that, Cooper?" Addy looked over at him.

"I just found out that Keely was trying to keep Simon from posting one of my secrets in exchange for something better." he said honestly.

"You mean one of our secrets?" Bronwyn sat up with a questionable look.

Addy exhaled. "So, Keeley told him about me and TJ. To protect you."

"I'm sorry, Addy." Cooper sympathized with her.

"Maybe he was blackmailing other people?" Bronwyn suggested, looking in Allison's direction as a camera flashed.

"Oh, hell nah." Allison pulled her shoes off. "Not the hashbrown murder club again!"

"Allison!" Bronwyn called as she took off in a sprint.

"Yeah, get em, Allison!" Nate called, the four running after her as Allison sprinted down the hallway, chasing the shadowed figure until she was close enough to tackle them, the pair rolling on the ground with a huff.

"Vanessa?" Addy came around the corner, seeing her and Allison on the floor. Cooper reached down and pulled Allison to her feet.

"Looks like we found our stalker." Bronwyn confirmed.

"Where you following me last night?" Addy gapped at her.

"What? Oh, I get it. The four of you have convinced each other you're innocent, so, naturally, you've invented a villain to trauma bond over. That is so deeply pathetic." Vanessa stated with a gapping and disgusted look.

"You know what else is pathetic? Having no life so you have to get validation on social media." Allison glared at her.

"But, I am flattered you think it's me." Vanessa nodded. "Oh, and your cute little murder club meeting in the library? Guaranteed to do numbers. So, thank you. Don't worry, i'm tagging all you photogenic little bitches."

Addy knocked her phone out of her hand. "That is it. I have had enough of your shit."

Vanessa picked up her phone. "You bitch. You are so lucky I have apple care."

She left in the door, Addy turned to the four. "Could Vanessa be the big bad?"

"She's definitely moved up on my suspect list." Brownyn spoke honestly, opening the door as the five walked in. Their phones went off, the photo from the library doing numbers, as Vanessa said. All eyes were on them.

"Maybe we should go." Nate suggested.

"Screw that." Addy shook her head. "I am not giving this win to fucking Vanessa. If they wanna stare, let's give them something to stare at."

"Addys right." Cooper agreed.

"Seriously?" Brownyn looked his way.

"This is like my old T-Ball coach use too say. Sometimes you've got to grab life by the horns and make the devil suck your dick." Cooper said confidently.

Allison gapped, sputtering slightly at the suddenly statement. "Oh my god?"

"I'm assuming he got fired." Brownyn added in after her.

"Oh, definitely." Cooper nodded, grabbing Allison's wrist and pulling her toward the dance floor with him and Addy.
