Physical Description
In her Genie form, Giselle has blue skin and long, luscious raven hair which she keeps in a long ponytail. While she wears a lavender crop-top with attachable sleeves, the bottom end of her is essentially a smoke of cloud that forms whenever her lamp is activated.

In her Avalonian form, Giselle still retains her blue skin, but gains legs in place of her smoke, cloud-like tail. Additionally, her hair turns longer which she wears down, rather than in a long ponytail. As such, she wears lavender leggings with a blackberry belt and various designs displayed across the bottom side of her crop-top and the vertical side of her leggings. Finally, she wears a bluish-black pair of shoes, ditching the traditional elf-ish shoes her parents wear.

When initially possessed by Adreanna (her shadow/dark counterpart), Giselle's skin turns grey while her eyes lose their hazelnut brown shimmer. In addition, her hair is structured towards a French braid, which is dazzled by various gemstones. As such, she wears a dark royal purple gown that reveals her legs and yellow anklet's heels. She is also seen with various designs embedded on her dress.

In her human state/form, Giselle's skin becomes fair (rather than blue) and has legs in place of her smoke, cloud-like tail. Interestingly enough, her hair turns blonde (in place of her raven locks) while her eyes are now a misty sea-green blue. In place of her crop top and leggings attire, she wears a light purple's traveler coat, medium-length shorts and brown buckle shoes.

Does your character suffer from any mental illness(es)?
Not at the moment (though this might change later on).

Does your character suffer from any disorders, if any? If so, list them.
Not at the moment (though this might change later on).

Does your character suffer from an allergy and/or allergies, if any?
While in her human state, Giselle has developed a small allergy to cats [particularly, their fur]. Though not life-threatening, she tends to sneeze whenever a cat is near her. It is unclear if this allergy will carry onto her Avalonian state in the future or vanish completely upon returning to her normal form.

Does your character own any pet(s)? If so, list them.
While not necessarily considered "pets," Giselle has a spiritual bond with the Parisian kwamis residing within the Chinese miracle box and to some extent, a few from the Native American miracle box. Out of all of them, she is particularly close with Trixx and Aulii.

Relationship(s) with listed family member(s), if any
Celine Bonheur - These two shared a loving mother-daughter relationship, thanks in part of their bond being over singing. Upon her separation from her family, she is devastated but remains hopeful she and her mother will reunite one day.

Lucius Bonheur - These two shared a loving father-daughter relationship, thanks in part of their bond being over ancient relics and history. Upon her separation from her family, she is devastated but remains hopeful she and her father will reunite one day.

Lillian Kiernan - Despite their opposite personalities, Giselle is able to click with Lillian, who helps her manage her excitement while Lillian is able to open up more with the help of Giselle. Because of this, the two are relatively close to the point of being sisters.

Aliya Finkelstein - As the current holder of her lamp, Giselle initially expected Aliya to be similar to her previous owners. However when the two bond over their status as misfits, Giselle is able to gain a real, genuine friend in Aliya, which over time leads the two becoming relatively close to the point of serving as each other's sister figures.

Personality:
At first sight, Giselle is a bubbly, energetic genie. Her infectious attitude can easily come across as endearing or too obnoxious, but regardless she is always capable of standing her ground, coming across as feisty to those that know her. She is always curious to know about life outside of her lamp and eager to make friends.... Add in her dramatic flairs along with high strung confident, and Giselle is essential the "popular girl" of the group.

But in hindsight, her image is a stunt used to hide her loneliness and despair as a genie.

Realistically, Giselle is a modest genie who yearns for a life outside of her lamp, reunite with her parents and go back to her home in Paris. But more than anything, she wishes to have a friend of her own.

Due to her loneliness, she comes across as trusting too blindly, which makes it easy for her owners to take advantage of her powers. Over the years though, her experiences with her owners have tainted her perspective on the world. As such, she has a more cynical side of her, but as she softens up to Aliya, fragments of her old self slowly come back.

Yet in the process, Giselle's unwavering hope of having her wish come true returns. Is it possible she might have found someone to finally break her curse?

Fears, if any:
Fear of abandonment [no official name known]
Claustrophobia - Fear of tight spaces [copied from Google].
Athazagoraphobia - Fear of being forgotten [copied from Google].

Connection [MLB, TMNT, BOTH AND/OR NEITHER], if any:
Giselle is mostly connected with the Tales of Miraculous Ladybug and Chat Noir as she was originally from that universe.

Power(s) and Abilities, if any:
Avalonian Glow - Like all Avalonians, Giselle will have the ability to detect the average Avalonian in their human state by making eye contact with a person. If their eyes glow in sync with the genie, then the Avalonian has been detected. However, stronger and powerful Avalonians [like The Senior Fae, for example] are harder to spot. This ability only works when Giselle is in her human form.

Teleportation - As a genie, Giselle has access to teleporting herself anywhere at will. Yet, as she is often forced to obey the wishes of her masters, she simply teleports whenever it is convenient for her owners. This ability is also available to Giselle in her Avalonian state and only partially as a human.

Cosmic powers - Like other genies, Giselle is able to make wishes, conjure things at great feats and disguise herself at will through her shape-shifting abilities. Additionally, she is skillful when it comes to creating illusions โ€” something she highly prides herself on. This ability is also available to Giselle in her Avalonian state and only partially as a human.

Emotional appeal - While each genie has a subset of abilities structured to them, hers are primarily emotion-based. Because of this, she could (theoretically speaking) control and bend a person's emotions to her will. However, she has yet to use this skill as she doesn't like the idea of controlling people's emotions.

Her mind crystal - As the primary source of her powers, Giselle guards her crystal very protectively, especially when she's brought to Avalon. Without her crystal, she has a higher chance of being possessed by her shadow counterpart, Adreanna (who is weak against light and the crystal itself).

Weakness(es), if any:
Shorter lifespan - Giselle will quickly realize she gained a significantly shorter lifespan than when she was an Avalonian Genie during her time as a human. While initially temporarily, this weakness will permanently carry over once she makes her decision to stay in this state.

Empathy - As one of her flaws, she is intuitively connected with people through their emotions. While this could be a good thing, Giselle deals with the backlash of seeing her previous owners' plans fail, which then leads to Giselle not only feeling these negative emotions, but then having to deal with these emotions as their anger gets directed back to her.

Naรฏve - As one of her flaws, Giselle is naturally eager to please everyone and builds trust in people a little too fast (traits installed to her as a kid). However as she goes through her experience with her owners, Giselle slowly feels the consequences of trusting too blindly when she continuously finds herself being lied and manipulated by her owners to ensure their wishes come true, while she is still forced to hope for hers.

Loyalty - As one of her flaws, once she finds a friend, she'll believe in them till the very end... which has done more harm than good. For instance, she stuck with Joshua when he couldn't endure Jolene anymore and granted his wife of starting a new life. She even helped Joshua become rich, but in the end, her loyalty proved futile after Joshua lost everything, lashed out at her and threw the lamp, believing it brought him "no good" in the end.

List of Acquired Skill(s), if any:
Singing - As a naturally gifted singer (a trait she received from her mother), she is easily command the attention of her listeners. However, her singing can only captivate people, not control (like Iris, whose singing can cause people to find themselves pulled to her direction).

I. "Heh... you know it's weird. Despite no longer being tied to a lamp, I still feel this urge to please people and grant their wishes, even though that's not really my element anymore. I guess I'm still trying to figure this whole thing out. But, I'm glad I got you on my side, Jax."

II. "No, no, no! Aliya! Stop it, you're hurting her! Please stop! Let her go, please! I'll do whatever you ask of me. You want me to obey you? Fine. You want my crystal? Have it. Just let her go. Please...."

III. "Everyone is the same, you know. The outsiders may be terrible, but Avalonians are no better. It's no wonder why my parents tried keeping me out. In the end, everyone is power-hungry and it doesn't matter who tells you what, almost everyone you meet is lying to you in some form or fashion. I had a one man used his last wish to gain dark magic, and another cheat his way to becoming rich. So, you see, you can't really trust anyone. Well, at least that's what I thought anyways.... until I met you."

๐Ÿ„ต๐Ÿ„ฐ๐Ÿ„ฒ๐Ÿ…ƒ๐Ÿ…‚ ๐Ÿ„ฐ๐Ÿ„ฑ๐Ÿ„พ๐Ÿ…„๐Ÿ…ƒ ๐Ÿ„ถ๐Ÿ„ธ๐Ÿ…‚๐Ÿ„ด๐Ÿ„ป๐Ÿ„ป๐Ÿ„ด
1. Giselle is fluent in two languages: English and French. She knew English and French ever since she was exposed to the Parisian language.

2. Prior to her lamp being taken to Avalon, she previously served two human owners: Soren Chandler [Little Sister - owned by Sci-Briana17] and Joshua Monroe, who each initially promised her freedom and went against their statement by their last wish.

3. Despite being fully Avalonian, she wasn't actually raised there, which is why Paris is said to be her birthplace.

4. Additionally, the reason why Giselle is commonly referred to as a servant among her owners (excluding Aliya) and a slave among Avalonians is because genies have always been view as less superior than other species. In fact, she is constantly reminded of this by fellow Avalonians (excluding Aliya, Jax and Libby), who insist she only exists to serve them (them being Avalon).

5. When Giselle begins working with Jaxon, she gains a role as "narrator" after giving a series of dramatic spins on Jax's stories. Because of this, she'll be the primary narrator while Jax serves as the primary storyteller. This new role will be featured within the Avalonian Tales series [where each book is center on "fairytales" within a universe].

6. Similar to Jesse, Giselle does have a counterpart named Adreanna (or Nyx as the shadow genie prefers to be called) who also resides in the darker part of Avalon, but that's about where their similarities end.

While Jess's counterpart is permanently tied to him, hers can be removed through replacing the crystal back in her head. Plus, rather than share the same body (like Jesse and Cain), Giselle and Adreanna coexist together with the shadow genie maintaining a physical body from that time period of successfully gaining control over Giselle.

More information regarding Adreanna, and her human form (Angelique Ciel Dior) will be revealed soon enough.
