Lillian Kiernan - Jax shares a loving relationship with their youngest sister. While they might not always see eye-to-eye with Libby and occasionally argue/bicker with their sister, Jax is very protective of her. Because of this, Jax reacts differently when their sister soon goes missing.

Issac Finkelstein - With Issac being a musician and Jax being a writer, the two naturally bonded, given their shared passion for the arts. They definitely look up to Issac and values his opinion more than the others, viewing Issac as a father figure (turned adoptive father) and their personal idol.

Amara Finkelstein - As their mother figure turned adoptive mother, Amara and Jax are close, but not as close when compared to their relationship with Issac. Despite this, Jax does enjoy Amara's company and the two genuinely share a typical healthy family-centric bond.

Aliya Finkelstein - As their newly adoptive sister, Jaxon and Aliya are genuinely close, being touched when she (finally) refers to them as her sibling. Although Jaxon has a similar relationship with Aliya like Lillian, their view of Aliya shifts twice, alternating the bond between the two.

The first being when Jax feels betrayed by Aliya for loving Jesse and the second being Jax believing Aliya is associated with the disappearance of Lillian which forces Jaxon to turn against her, severing their bond for some time [though eventually, the two will make up to one another and restore their bond].

Stormy/Sensei Thorn [OC belongs to GeekyCookie1] - As their aunt figure turned adoptive aunt, Stormy and Jax are close, but not as close when compared to their relationship with Issac. Despite this, Jax does enjoy Stormy's company and the two genuinely share a typical healthy family-centric bond.

Personality:
Jax is described as a sensible but overly dramatic half-demon and half-faerie who has a knack for writing stories. Additionally as the elder sibling, Jax tends to be protective of their little sister, Lillian due to an oath they made to their parents before their untimely deaths occurred.

Jax is playful and caring around the people they know (as shown why Jax is checking on Aliya in Part of Your World), but Jax struggles with dealing with their jealousy. When Jax becomes jealous, they generally start acting bitter, harsh and make more irrational decisions that could potentially affect them and others around them.

Jax can also be in denial about certain things [i.e: Jesse not being in love with them], coming up with excuses to maintain their version of the narrative (like insisting Jesse would be with them if that freak wasn't in the way). It isn't until Jax is fully faced with the truth that they truly start moving on.

Jaxon is known for being a history geek, enjoying the traditions of Avalon and learning how Avalon came to be. However like other Avalonians, Jax is cynical towards humans and despises the idea of humans being viewed as their equal [this ideology will change later on].

Additionally, Jax take things at face-value rather than knowing the rest of the facts. For instance, they strongly blame Aliya for the disappearance of Lillian (ultimately leading them to work for the Senior Fae), but fails to realize that they're much closer to the true Avalonian that made their sister disappear.

Levitation - Jax is capable of lifting objects with ease. However, they may struggle with this ability, depending upon the object. Additionally, they are able to levitate people.

Flight - Despite only being half-faerie, they have the ability to fly by using their wings.

Weakness(es), if any:
Water - Since their main ability stems from writing, water serves as a main foil in Jax's abilities as a whole. More so, water also ruins their source of transportation, resulting in them walking on foot [much to their annoyance]. As a human, this weakness will carry over.

Iron - As revealed in Part of Your World, Jax has a weakness to iron as a typical faerie despite only possessing half of the faerie's blood. Although they can deal with iron for a longer period of time than a typical faerie, Jax still experiences the same side effects as any other faerie: dizziness and fatigue. Additionally because they haven't been exposed to iron, Jax would get a burning sensation for each time they deal with iron.

1. Jax is essentially half-demon and half-faerie due to their parents being in a interracial relationship. While their father was a "dark faerie" (known as shadow faeries), their mother was a powerful demon that specializes in dark magic. While Jax is capable of accessing their father's powers, they prefer relying on their mother's abilities instead.

2. Despite Jax being close with Aliya, they tend to treat Aliya harshly at times (more so when they feel betrayed by her or in fits of jealousy). Most times though, they are able to apologize and the two briefly repair their friendship.

However their treatment towards Aliya will escalate once they side with the Senior Fae, truly seeing her as an enemy for the first time [though the two will eventually make up and restore their friendship].

3. Although Jaxon and their sister become adopted by Aliya and her family, they choose to hyphen their original last name with Finkelstein to illustrate the decision of honoring their fallen parents, while embracing their newfound family.

4. Although Jax is a half-hybrid, they are ridiculed by Avalon as half-hybrids Avalonians are viewed as degrading entities of respective pure-blooded species associated within Avalon (it's also why they prefer seeing Avalonians match with their respective species, rather than 'taint the bloodline' by mixing species).

As such, Avalonians view Jaxon as someone insignificant, but society's opinion on them will gradually change over time, allowing for a more optimistic outlook for half-hybrids.
