Una technically has her mother's eels [Flotsam and Jetsam] but Ursula doesn't let her or Uma touch them. In fact, the only time she's allowed to go near them is when Una is given explicit permission to feed the eels... that's it.

Ursula Murchadh - Una initially shared a close tight-knit relationship with her mother as the two are pretty similar in terms of personalities [which spared Una from being abused by her mother since Ursula saw Una as her equal].

However, this relationship starts to shift when Una challenges her mother and stops Ursula from physically abusive her little sister, Uma.

Additionally when Uma doesn't return to the Isle, Una ends up taking her sister's place as she ends up being physically and emotionally abusive by her mother, which shows the final cracks in their relationship when the girl finally stands up to her mother and vows to never return, disowning Ursula as her mother.

Uma Murchadh - Una and Uma have a close tight-knit relationship as she often did her best to keep Ursula's abusive behavior at a minimum. Her heart ached every time she failed to stop her mother, vowing to get her and Uma away from their mother and away from the Isle for good.

Their relationship unfortunately takes a turn when Uma starts getting distracted by her childhood best friend, Mara Gothel, much to Una's annoyance. So despite dealing with the issue, Una is still disheartened by Uma's actions when she briefly turns against her by siding with their enemies.

Although Una is deeply troubled, disappointed and disgusted by her sister's actions, she doesn't let her mother, Ursula, express the same thing. Rather, she defends her sister's decision to think about the greater good of the Isle, saying she was better than "the both of us."

Eventually when the two reunite, the girl tries to downplay her genuine feelings for her sister but Uma can see through her facade and it doesn't take long for the two sisters to make up.

Morgana Hurley - Una has a much closer and healthier behavior with Morgana, often running to her aunt [with Uma in tow usually] when things get too overwhelming with her mother, Ursula.

As such, Morgana usually tends to their wounds and generally acts like a better mother to the sisters. Because of this, Una decides to help her aunt take down her mother and get the recognition she deserves.

Morgan Hurley - Una and Morgan Hurley have a tight-knit relationship as the two are often close to each other, viewing each other as partner-in-crimes and serving as each other's best friends.

Yet, their relationship will end up taking a turn when her mother begins to influence the boy's behavior after the events of Descendants 2, causing her to slowly drift away from him when she starts to see the boy mimic her mother's behavior. Though the two will make up and become close again, that will ultimately take time.

Mari Hurley - Una's relationship with Mari isn't close, mainly because she views her cousin as weak, often bullying her and belittling the girl [out of spite]. However, her relationship with her younger cousin changes in Descendants 3 when Mari ends up saving Una from being physically abused by her mother.

As a result, she starts to view Mari differently and the two will end up having a better bond with each other.

Mair "Mai" Hurley - Una's relationship with Mair isn't close, mainly because she views her cousin as weak, often bullying her and belittling the girl [out of spite]. Personality:
Vicious, aggressive and quite ruthless, Una isn't one to break under pressure. In fact, she's the one who breaks others under pressure. She relishes the idea of power and control, often waiting for the day she could break out of the Isle and claim Auradon for herself.

The girl is rather selfish and not beyond the means of betraying the people around her as Una tends to follow her own agenda. Yet, Una does have her limits, especially when her own family is on the line. More so, she cares deeply for her family and when she is betrayed, Una takes the matter personally.

In spite of her outward behavior, Una is simply a girl who craves change and a way out of her mother's shadow. She doesn't want to follow in her mother's footsteps nor does she want to be known as "the sea witch's daughter." Una simply wants to be free from her mother's clutches, reunite with Uma and leave the past behind her.

Black Magic - Una is capable of recreating and executing her mother's spells through the use of her golden nautilus pendant [gifted to Una by her mother]. When using black magic, Una can alter the weather by creating large clouds and/or thunderstorms in her wake.

Size Alternation - Additionally, she can physically alter people's bodies just like her mother did in the past. She cannot however turn people into polyps unless a contract has been made and her victim failed to comply to her demands.

Shape-Shifting - She is also capable of altering her own form through the use of her mother's necklace but Una cannot change into her Cecaelia [half-woman, half-octopus] form like her sister and her mother. As such, the girl can only change her appearance as a human [but a voice must be acquired].

Strengths:
Magic and potions - Even before the girl could actually use magic, Una was skilled at making potions [even if nothing came out of it] so when she left the Isle and had access to magic, it was almost like second nature to her. It is also possible that if the girl made a potion outside of the barrier, then there was a likelihood that her potions would work as intended.

Superhuman strength - Inherited from her mother, the girl is capable of exerting a great deal of strength as Una has been known to beat several people in a fight [though it's possible this impressive feat may simply be a exaggeration created to stay on Una's good side]. Regardless of whether or not the feat is true, Una also possesses a great deal of stamina and doesn't tired out easily.

Breathing underwater - Even without the possession of her Cecaelia [half-woman, half-octopus] form, Una is still capable of breathing underwater for a slightly longer period of time as she can become unconscious herself if she stays in the water for too long.

Compared to the average Auradonian, Una can last roughly fifteen minutes longer when underwater as shown through her selfless action of foregoing her mother's spell book in favor of saving her younger cousin's life when Morgan Hurley failed to resurface [briefly ignoring Prince Dion, who was saved by Apollo]. However, it is still unclear whether or not, this strength was inherited or developed.

Her family - Even though Una insists she'll always put herself first above the needs of her family, Una is very oriented towards her family. Because of this, Una's family (more or less) ultimately serve as the girl's own Achilles' heel. In fact, she cares deeply for her family that in the event her family is in danger, she will forego her desires or the sake of conquering an enemy to make sure her family is safe.

1. Although Uma is the one to put Ben under a love spell, she cannot commit to the idea of betraying her feelings toward Mara Gothel [who the young pirate has grown to have a crush on], which greatly infuriates her older sister, Una, who calls her a "weakling" for allowing Mother Gothel's daughter to "distract her."

As a result, Una is the one to continue the love spell, causing Ben to fall in love with her [not Uma].

2. Una is older than her little sister, Uma by fifteen minutes, but she isn't considered a "leader" or "Queen of the Isle" because she didn't want to rule over the Isle. She wanted to rule over Auradon, hence why she's supportive of Uma's idea because she wants to use her sister's idea as a gateway to conquer.
