Fonts brauchst du sehr, sehr häufig. Denn jedes Mal, wenn du Schrift machen willst und die Schriftart, die du nutzen möchtest, nicht in deiner Textapp verfügbar ist, musst du einen Font hochladen. Wie das geht, zeige ich dir hier.

You need fonts very, very often. Because every time you want to make type and the font you want to use is not available in your text app, you have to upload a font. I'll show you how to do it here.

Variante 1/ Variant 1: Für Phonto/ For Phonto

Step1:
Öffne die Website www.dafont.com.
Open the website www.dafont.com.

Step 2:
Wähle den Font, den du nehmen möchtest, aus und lade ihn herunter.
Choose the font you want to use and download it.

Step 3:
Gehe auf deine Downloads.
Go to your downloads.

Step 4:
Bei Phonto ist eine sehr einfache Installation möglich. Klicke jetzt einfach auf den ZIP-Ordner, den du heruntergeladen hast. Dann sollte sich dieses Fenster öffnen, oder landest gleich bei Phonto.
A very simple installation is possible with Phonto. Now just click on the ZIP folder you downloaded. Then this window should open, or you'll end up at Phonto.

Step 5:
Klicke auf "Install". Jetzt hast du den Font installiert und kannst ihn nutzen.
Click on "Install". Now you have installed the font and can use it.

Variante 2/ Variant 2: Für Pixellab/ For Pixellab

Step 1-3:
Befolge die Anleitung oben.
Follow the instructions above.

Step 4:
Halte den ZIP-Ordner lange. Dann klicke auf  Mehr und dann auf in akt. Ordner extrahieren. Dieser Schritt ist sehr, sehr wichtig. Sonst funktioniert es nicht.
Long hold the ZIP folder. Then click on more and then on in act. extract folder. This step is very, very important. Otherwise it doesn't work.

Jetzt ist eine OTF/TTF-Datei im Ordner und sonst noch einige andere Sachen, die kannst du aber nach dem Upload löschen.
Now there is an OTF/TTF file in the folder and a few other things, but you can delete them after the upload.

Step 5:
Öffne Pixellab.
Open Pixellab.

Step 6:
Gehe auf das A, auf Font und dann auf my Fonts. Dort klickst du auf das linke Symbol.
Go to the A, to Font and then to my Fonts. There you click on the left icon.

Step 7:
Jetzt wähle die Datei aus. Alle Dateien, die du benutzen kannst, sind schwarz unterlegt. Der Rest ist grau.
Now select the file. All files that you can use are highlighted in black. The rest is grey.

Ordner kannst du zwar auswählen, aber dort sind dann trotzdem alle nicht möglichen Dateien grau unterlegt.
You can select folders, but all non-possible files are grayed out there.

Step 8:
Jetzt sollte der Text in der App hochgeladen sein und du kannst ih verwenden.
Now the text should be uploaded in the app and you can use it.
