Yn's pov

I flinched as soon as I heard someone screaming. I heaved my upper body and looked around the room with my half-opened eyes but could not find anyone. Gummy bear? where is he? The screams got louder and enabled me to recognize that they were coming from the bathroom, but due to continuous water flow I couldn't comprehend the words and speaker.

Wait- Bear isn't here which means...I hurriedly got up and made my way toward the bathroom door. I leaned myself on the door and my eyes wide opened identifying the voice it is B-bear inside..but why is he screaming?

I called him but he didn't respond, surely he stopped shouting but I'm worried knowing something is wrong with him. I banged on the door multiple times my hands started stinging but who cares?! I just want to see my Gummy bear. Still no reply!

I yelled, hoping this time he might open the door. But after a while, I heard a glass-shattering voice making me worried sick. After a few minutes, the door got opened and the view in front of me made me panic.

"BEAR!" I took my steps hurriedly and held his shoulder and waist for support and helped him inside the room. I made him sit on the bed carefully not causing any pain.

"How did this happen?!" Bear's white pyjama had now turned crimson red. He didn't answer yet but now I need to focus on his wound. I reached for the first aid kit on the dressing table and kneeled in front of him. The blood was continuously flowing so as my tears.

I held the hem of his pyjama and tried to lift it but he hissed not so loudly but convenient to listen in this voiceless room resonating with his heavy breaths.

"Please bear with it for a while," I spoke and he just nodded his head. I again held the hem of his pyjama and lifted it as gently as possible making sure not to inflict any more pain.

There were a few cuts on his leg...long and deep, and blood was oozing out of them. But what did happen? I shrugged my thoughts and pressed the cotton on the wound cleaning it completely and did the dressing.

As soon as I kept the first aid kit away, Gummy bear pulled me toward himself hugging me placing his arms around my waist and hiding his face in my crook. Before I could say anything he started taking heavy breaths and hugged me tighter.

I was confused and worried because I had never seen him like this. No doubt he used to feel low when his father berated him and ignored him but today, I saw fear in his eyes when I opened the bathroom door why? Maybe because of this injury.

I patted his back to calm him down and after a while, I slowly detached myself and caressed his cheeks. He felt cold so as his face, devoid of all emotions. He was staring at me intensely and out of a sudden, he placed his lips on mine and started kissing me. His kiss was soft but passionate as if letting out his emotions through it. He held my nap and tilted his head deepening the kiss that's when I realised and started kissing him back. Our lips were moving in sync. My hands made their way to his back and I started caressing him. Both of our eyes were closed completely drowned in our blissful moment. Minutes passed but none of us stopped he was kissing me desperately as if I could vanish if he leaves me and I didn't stop wanting to comfort him as much as I can.

Finally, he pulled back, both of us were breathing heavily. I opened my eyes to look at him but as soon as our gaze met he whirled his face to another side.

"Hmm.. let's sleep." He spoke evading my gaze and attempted to lay down with me in his arms but I held his wrist and questioned, "what happened to your leg?" He paused for a while and answered nothing. "Why were you screaming?" I looked into his eyes desperately waiting for him to speak.

He sighed and flenched the bedsheets in his palm when I leaned close to hold his face he too crouched forward and tried to kiss me again but I kept my palm on his lips and shook my head.

"No, first answer my question. Do you know how scared I'm right now? Firstly you were screaming inside the bathroom and got this injury and now you ain't answering me." I whisper yelled and my eyes turned moist.

All the time he was looking into my eyes. He sighed and hugged me again. "When I was in the bathroom a glass bottle fell from my hands and broke into pieces when I tried to pick them up I slipped and my leg landed on the glass pieces piercing my skin and I screamed due to pain." He said in one go but still, I feel something is not right. He is constantly avoiding my gaze and trembling.

"Due to increasing pain, I couldn't get up and open the door when you asked me. But don't worry I'm fine now. Let's sleep." Bear assured me but still, I was feeling uneasy but I know he won't answer me so let's inquire about it later.

I hummed in response, he laid down and opened his arms for me. Jumping in his arms I covered both of us in the duvet. He caressed my back trying to make me sleep because he knows how much restless I'm right now. Slowly sleep started engulfing me but not before deciding on investigating this matter.

After a while...

"I will make sure you never know this. Even if it means hurting myself, 'cause I can't lose you, my Angel."
