this chapter is dedicated to the dog i once had, her name was sahara. she was a golden retriever and her memories are never gone with us. when i was little she had a bloody nose and started acting different. then we took her to the vet, she had cancer. then one day my mom went into our basement to see her laying there in a pile of her blood from her nose. my mom rushed her to the vet, she passed away. i loved her so much and still do, i can not believe she is gone. she was the 1st dog i ever had and it was so sad to see her gone so soon. i love you sahara๐Ÿ’—

trigger warning, death.

my mom yelled from downstairs, i saw her carrying sahara. "mom what happened??" i asked her.

"i will be back soon, sahara needs to go to the vet." she rushed out the door.

that night was the worst i ever had to ever live with.

i drove myself to the vet when my mom texted me.

i saw her laying on the table, barley having her eyes open.

"oh baby..." i said crying

"mom, is she?" i titled my head, not wanting to at the last word.

my mom sighed, "yes.."

i look behind her to see her eyes closed, not breathing. her lifeless body laying there.

i don't want to believe what i saw, this can't be happening. she's gone.

the dog i loved the most, is gone. forever, she had to go before me. she beat me up there.

"i'll see you one day up there bub." i said barley getting my words out.

i went home to tell my family what happened.

how did our family go from 19 to 18?!?

authors note:
this chapter meant so much to me, i may have been sitting in a pile of tears while writing this. it hit to close to home, but i needed one way to keep her in my memories. i just miss her so much and can't bare to see anyone like this. she passed away in 2014 i'm pretty sure. i can't fully remember because i never wanted to keep that in my thoughts but when i thought about itย  more i wanted her in my memories forever.
