its been a couple days since i got my wisdom teeth out and i decided to skate for a bit and play hockey with myself. until i saw these guys come up in full hockey gear.

"who are you??" they asked.

"uh.. i'm grace zegras.. what about you?"

"we're from the canadian team."

"and we're from usa." i heard people say. i saw jack, trevor, and the rest of my team there. "let's play hockey!"

we started and the canadians were going rough, i was skating up to the net and one of them ducked down and i went flying in the air and landed on my ankle, it hurt but i didn't want to show anything since we had a game against them tonight.

after that we lost 5-3 but we all headed to the rink for our game since we had our hockey stuff with us. they looked fiesty, like scary..

i wasn't starting today, i was in for the 3rd shift. which went well, i got a goal.

it got to the 3rd period where they started playing dirty, they were cross checking and everything. only because they were losing 9-7

i went next to the net and i went to stop but someone from the other team pushed me full speed into the goal post and i hit my arm HARD.

i woke up and i was in my couch with a cast on with sling on. dang, i asked the person who was closest to me what happened.

"well basically went u fell you dislocated your elbow and sprained it at the same time. so they gave you surgery but since it was sprained they had to do something careful since they couldn't pop it back in so it's still dislocated but also your broke your arm and it's serious and sadly the next time you will be playing is worlds if we make it.." he explained.

i just broke down into tears and he wrapped his arms around me for a hug. i'm out for basically a whole season.

when i was making this i smiled for some reason and cut my lip open and it hurt like a buttcheek on a stick 🤭🙈
