Scott Turner walked through the quiet streets of Hawkins, his hair tousled by the wind, his thoughts distant. His mother’s warm smile and his father’s stern gaze were still clear in his mind—his family meant everything to him.

One day, as he made his way home from school, a catastrophic event changed Scott’s life forever. A devastating explosion at a nearby nuclear power plant shook the town and plunged the streets into darkness, a moment Scott would never forget.
