Delaney Winchester laid on her stomach on the bed in the sleazy motel room she booked. She blew a piece of brown, curly hair out of her face and continued to scroll through all the research she had opened up. It had been four months since her eldest brother, Dean Winchester, had become a Hellhound's chew toy at the hands of Lilith. His one year contract with the demon had run out quicker than the three Winchester siblings had hoped and couldn't get him out of it.Β

The whole thing only made Delaney wish Dean had let her stay dead and not sell his soul to save hers even more. Their father, John Winchester, had done the same thing for Dean when he was on his own death bed at the hands of Azazel. The same demon that bled into Delaney's mouth when she was six months old and made her what she is now. Now she was on a mission to go after Lilith and make her pay for what she did to Dean. Plus, Lilith wanted her head on a stick as well, so getting her out of the way would be safer for everyone.

Delaney just never expected it to take this long to track down the demon.

"Lanes."

Delaney's head snapped up and jumped back a bit on the bed when Randy's face was suddenly in front of hers. After being sent back to Hell when Lilith possessed the vessel Randy had originally been possessing, Randy finally got his way back out of Hell and into another vessel. As much as Delaney loved the blue eyed vessel, she thought the darker haired and darker eyed vessel he possessed now was so much more attractive.

Dean and her other older brother, Sam Winchester, would definitely have a fit if they knew Randy and Delaney had been together for the past four months. Any other time, Delaney would have killed Randy on the spot because he had lied to her more than once about being able to save Dean, only to tell her too late she had more abilities than just the psychic ones that could be used on Lilith. However, Randy had saved her life more than once, especially when he showed up back from Hell.Β

Being with Randy went against every single thing she believed in, but something told her he was different than the other demons. He had multiple chances to kill her and he never did. Every other demon had been trying to drag Delaney down to Hell and hand her over to Lilith, but Randy stepped up and saved her from every single one each time. He even taught her how to use the other ability she possessed which was being able to send a demon back to Hell without hurting the vessel it possessed. Delaney had saved so many more people than she and the boys ever had.

"What?" Delaney blinked as Randy shut the laptop and moved it to the side.

Randy placed his hands on the end of the bed, leaning his chin on top of them while his legs were tucked under him on the floor. "Your head's been stuck in that laptop since we came back, princess. Don't you think you should rest?"

Delaney puffed out her cheeks and pushed herself up so she could sit back on her heels and allow Randy to sit on the bed in front of her. "I can't waste any time with finding Lilith, Ran. Dean's still dead and Sam and Uncle Bobby have been blowing up my phone for the past four months. I just want to get rid of Lilith and get Dean back."

Randy reached forward and tucked the piece of hair that kept bothering Delaney behind her ear and smiled softly at her. It was definitely an odd expression for a demon to have and it took Delaney a long time to get used to seeing Randy look at her with soft expressions over the past four months. "Yeah and you won't be any good use to anyone if you're sleep deprived. You just exorcised two demons and I could tell just by looking at you that you need to relax."

The knock at the motel room door alerted Delaney and Randy, both of their heads snapping over in its direction.

"That's the pizza. I'll get it while you wash up," Randy informed, pushing off the bed and walking over to the motel room.

Delaney groaned and rolled off the bed, walking into the bathroom across from the single motel bed to wash up to eat. She'd rather eat while she researched and tried to find where Lilith was now, especially with the demons that were supposedly in the area. Though, Randy wouldn't let Delaney hear the end of it if she did that so she'll take an hour break and then go back. Both parties can be happy that way.

Hearing three voices along with Randy's, Delaney furrowed her eyebrows and quickly dried her hands before stepping out into the room. "What's going - " She froze in her place when she saw Sam and Bobby stood in the doorway of the motel room with a familiar pair of green eyes behind them.Β

"Heya, Della," Dean rasped, staring at Delaney with so much love and adoration.

Delaney's wide eyes snapped to Bobby and Sam for an explanation. There was no way this was Dean because she hadn't been able to get to Lilith just yet. He should look like a ThrillerΒ music video reject and not like he had just woken up from a four month long nap.Β

Dean stepped into the room and closer to Delaney who didn't hesitate to slip the silver knife out of her jeans and charge at him with it, shoving him up against the wall next to the door. She was tugged back by Sam who shook the knife out of her hand so it clattered to the floor while Bobby slid in between the eldest and youngest Winchester. "Who are you?!"

"Oh, like you didn't do this!" Dean barked at her.

Delaney continued to fight against Sam's hold around her waist, only making him tighten his grip around her. "Do what?!"

"It's him. It's him, Delly!" Sam shouted, causing Delaney to suddenly freeze in his hold. "Bobby and I already went through this back at the house. It's reallyΒ Dean."

Dean chuckled softly and held his hands out to his sides, stepping closer to Delaney so they were mere inches apart at this point. "I know. I look fantastic, huh?"

Delaney let a sob escape her lips and she hurled herself at Dean, wrapping her arms tightly around his torso. Dean had stumbled back a step at the collision, but quickly righting himself and wrapping his arms tightly around his baby sister. He didn't even mind when Delaney's tears soaked his black t-shirt beneath his army green button up. The two siblings stayed like that for a moment, enjoying being together again.

"So... are you two like together?"

Delaney pulled away from Dean and gave Randy an odd look. He knew who the three in the room were and she was just glad he was in a new vessel. Kept his identity a secret for the time being so the boys wouldn't see him and ruin the sibling moment. However, when Randy shot her a subtle look to go along with it because the boys didn'tΒ know who he was currently. He had to act like he was an outsider that had only just met Delaney.

"Oh...." Delaney trailed off and cleared her throat awkwardly, gesturing to the three boys. "Um, no, no. These are my brothers, Sam and Dean, and my uncle, Bobby."

"Oh... got it," Randy smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of his neck.

"Who's he?"Β

Delaney's head snapped over to Dean at his overprotective tone and usually she'd be annoyed by it, but after four months of him being gone, she didn't comment on it. She actually kind of missed it. "This is... Chris. He, uh, saved me from demons not too long ago and helped me on a case or two."

"Thanks for that," Sam said, thankfully buying Delaney's lie.

"Anytime," Randy replied and gestured over his shoulder. "I should probably go so you guys can catch up."

"I'll walk you out," Delaney offered and quickly grabbed Randy's leather jacket, shoving him out of the motel room and closing the door behind her. The two only made it a few steps down the hall towards the elevator before Delaney tugged on Randy's wrist and tugged him to the side behind a piece of jutted out wall. "Randy, how is that possible? No demon would deal with me and yet there Dean is looking like he did four months ago."

Randy shook his head and looked just as lost as Delaney felt. "I don't know."

"Did a demon do that?"

"No, I didn't sense anything coming off Dean that could suggest that. Every demon wanted you and Dean down there because of Lilith. No way they would have let him just walk out," Randy said, glancing over Delaney's shoulder towards the motel room. "There's still a bounty out for me for helping you out, but I'll see what I can dig up for you."

Delaney tried to smile with a small nod, but it came out more as a grimace. "Thanks."

Randy tapped underneath Delaney's chin to get her to look at him properly. "Hey, don't overthink this, okay? We'll figure it out."

Delaney let out a deep breath and forced herself to relax a bit. She needed to have a clear head and sit down with the boys to figure out what happened. With Randy's help, hopefully they could get to the bottom of this quickly. "Okay, you're right."

Randy winked at Delaney and smirked at her. "I know. I always am. Now go enjoy having your big brother back and I'll text you later." He bent down to place a soft kiss on Delaney's lips and pinched her cheek. "Be good."

Delaney rolled her eyes and slapped Randy's hand away from her, glaring at his back as he strode the rest of the way to the elevator. "I hate you!"

"No you don't!" Randy called over his shoulder and stepped onto the elevator, beaming brightly at Delaney as the doors closed.

"Demons," Delaney grumbled to herself and turned on her heel to make her way back to the motel room. She stepped back into the room to see Bobby and Sam sat on the couch while Dean leant against the small kitchen counter. All of their eyes snapped over to her and none of them looked pleased. "What? I said I was walking Chris out."

"So, what did it cost, Delaney?" Dean asked, crossing his arms and shot her the all too familiar stern look her used when he was disappointed with her.

"Cost? Dean, I didn't have to pay Chris to help me," Delaney replied, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion.Β

"Damn it, Delaney Elizabeth! This isn't funny," Dean snapped, slamming his hand on the counter behind him. "To bring me back. What did it cost? Was it just your soul, or was it something worse?"

Delaney scoffed and noticed that Bobby and Sam seemed to think the same thing Dean had. They all thought she had offered up her soul or something to bring him back. She wasn't John or Dean. She knew that selling your soul didn't do anything good in the grand scheme of things. No matter what, someone would still be hurt and one of them would still be dead. "You seriously think I made a deal?"

"That's exactly what we think," Bobby answered.

"Well, I didn't."

"Don't lie to me."

Delaney frowned and shook her head, hating that none of them seemed to believe her. "I'm not lying, Dean."

"So, what now?" Dean hissed, slowly pushing himself off the counter and walking towards Delaney with each word. "I'm off the hook and you're on, is that it? You some demon's chew toy now? I didn't want to be saved like this, Delaney!"

Delaney let out a noise of frustration and threw her hands in the air, feeling the tears rush back. "Look, Dean, I wish I had done it, alright?"

Dean gently grabbed the front of Delaney's flannel - he was mad, but he wasn't going to hurt his baby sister - and shook her, making her look solely at him. "There's no other way that this could have gone down! Now tell me the damn truth!"

"I tried everything. That's the truth," Delaney snapped, ripping Dean's hands off her flannel. "I tried opening the Devil's Gate. Hell, I tried to bargain, Dean, but no demon would deal, alright? You were rotting in Hell for months - for months - and I couldn't stop it. Once again, Delaney Elizabeth Winchester failed to save someone she loved! So, I'm sorry I failed you and Sammy, alright? I'm sorry it wasn't me."

Dean's eyes instantly softened at Delaney's small rant and frowned when he noticed the tears fall down her cheeks. He reached forward and gently wiped her tears away for her. "It's okay, baby girl. I believe you. You don't have to apologize."

"Don't get me wrong - I'm glad that both of my siblings are okay, but that does raise a question. If Delaney didn't pull Dean out, then who or what did?" Sam asked, running a hand down his face. Of course, the Winchester's lives could never be simple.Β

"What I want to know is what Delaney was doing around here if she wasn't digging me out of my grave," Dean admitted, walking over and taking a seat on the coffee table in front of the couch Bobby and Sam sat on. "Especially still without you or Bobby."

"I'm sorry," Delaney said to Sam and Bobby, feeling the guilt course through her. She had ran out of Bobby's house not too long after they buried Dean. They had both tried to call her over the past four months and she ignored it every time. She couldn't handle the weight on her shoulders of being the reason Dean was dead. "I shouldn't have ran off like that, especially with Baby - "

"You have my car?" Dean asked and Delaney smiled innocently at Dean who narrowed his eyes once again at her.Β

"Anyway, once I figured out I couldn't save Dean, I started to hunt down Lilith to get some payback," Delaney informed.

Bobby scoffed and took a swig of the beer in his hand. "All by yourself? Who do you think you are, your old man?"

"I'm sorry, guys," Delaney frowned and hated the hurt look on Sam's face. He and Bobby were probably worried over the past four months about what happened to her since they didn't speak to her. "I was pretty messed up."

"And Bobby and I weren't?" Sam countered, a hint of hurt in his tone. "You weren't the only one that lost someone, Delaney. We all lost Dean. Not just you."

"Yeah, and whose fault was it that Dean died?" Delaney shot back before she could think twice about it. All three of the boys' faces seemed to drop at Delaney's true feelings coming out about Dean's death. About why she had worked so hard to try and save him in the first place. It was all her fault. "Um.. so.. I was checking these demons out of Tennessee, and out of nowhere they took a hard left, booked up here."

"When?"

"Yesterday morning."

"When I busted out," Dean mumbled, tugging at his bottom lip in deep thought. "You think they're here because of me? I mean, some badass demon drags me out, now this? It's got to be connected somehow."

Bobby eyed Dean for a moment, as if still wondering if it were really Dean inside there. "How you feelin', anyway?"

"I'm a little hungry," Dean replied with a small shrug.

"No, I mean, do you feel like yourself? Anything strange or different?"

"Or demonic?" Dean accused and sounded annoyed with Bobby's questions. Almost like he had been through this more than once with both Bobby and Sam. "Bobby, how many times do I have to prove to you guys that I'm me?"

"Bobby has a point, Dean. No demon is gonna let you loose out of the kindness of their hearts. They have to have something nasty planned. I mean, they worked damn hard to get you down in the pit and I'm sure they're still after Delaney," Sam reminded and pointed to Delaney when she nodded in confirmation of still being targeted. "See?"

Delaney waved her hands in the air to stop the boys from arguing more and actually focus on what the bigger situation was. "Look, we don't know what they're planning. We got a pile of questions and no shovel. We need help."

"I know a psychic a few hours from here," Bobby announced and stood up from the couch, phone already in hand. "I'll go call her to see if she's heard the other side talking."

"Dean, wait," Delaney said, standing up with Dean and Sam and stopping in front of them before they could do anything. She pulled Dean's amulet out from beneath her white t-shirt and pulled it from around her neck, holding it out for Dean. "You probably want this back."

Dean took the amulet from Delaney's hand and looked touched that she had kept it this whole time. To be honest, it was one of the only things keeping her grounded and going the past four months. It made it like Dean was still with her the whole time and that brought her comfort. "Thanks, baby girl. I was worried when I came back and it wasn't around my neck. I felt naked."

Delaney giggled softly and smiled at the sight of it being back around the proper owner's neck. "Don't mention it, but... was it like?"

Dean fiddled with the amulet around his neck, an unreadable expression on his face as he started down at it. "What? Hell? I don't know. I - I - I must have blacked out. I don't remember a damn thing."

"Thank God for that," Sam commented.

It wasn't long before Bobby had come back and announced that they would be going over to his psychic friend's house. She was able to help them out with getting a lead on what was going on with Dean.

"She's about four hours down the interstate. Try to keep up," Bobby informed the siblings, stepping into his car in the parking lot.

"I assume you'll want to drive," Delaney said, digging into her pocket for Dean's keys and tossing them to him.

Dean chuckled gleefully and caught the keys with one hand, running a hand lovingly over the Impala. "I almost forgot about you, Baby. You miss me?"

"If you two want a room - "

"Shut up, Sammy," Dean yelled, sliding into the driver's seat while Sam slid into the seat next to him with Delaney in the back like it used to be. He ran his hands lovingly along the dashboard, but froze when he noticed the device hooked up to the radio. "What the hell is that?"

"It's called an iPod jack, Dean," Delaney answered, popping her head into the front seat with a grin.

Dean glared at Delaney, ripping the iPod jack off the radio. "You were supposed to take care of Baby, not douche her up, Della!"

Delaney squeaked and ducked when Dean threw the iPod and the iPod jack into the back seat. She popped back up when she was sure they were both on the seat next to her and huffed. "I thought it was my car."

"What about me?" Sam argued, offended that Delaney would take the car and leave him out of it. Cue Delaney's guilt rising a level.

Delaney smiled sheepishly at Sam and hugged him from behind. "I love you, Sammy?"

Sam grumbled and shook Delaney off him. "Yeah, yeah. Sleep with one eye open tonight, brat."

"There's still one thing that's bothering me," Dean admitted after a long, comfortable silence had taken over the Impala. They had been driving for almost two hours now and random conversation would spark up now and then to catch up the Winchesters on what all three missed out on the past four months with each other. Though, it was also nice for them to just sit in silence together and cherish each other's company.Β

"The night that I bit it - or got bit," he paused to chuckle, but quickly stopped when Sam and Delaney shot him unamused expressions. "How did the two of you make it out? Or at least, how did you make it out, Delaney? I thought Lilith was gonna kill you."

"Well, she tried. She couldn't," Delaney explained, popping her head in between the seats again and placed her chin in her hand.

"What do you mean she couldn't?"

"She fired this, like, burning light at Sammy and I - something I assumed would have only killed me and not him - and... it didn't leave a scratch, like I was immune or something."

"Immune?" Dean repeated.

Delaney chuckled softly and shook her head at the memory. "I didn't know who was more surprised - her or Sammy and I. She left before I could stab her with Randy's knife."

"Huh. What about Randy? Where is he?"

"Dead or in Hell," Delaney swiftly lied and made sure to keep her face neutral as to not give anything away. Randy had actually texted her not too long ago to let her know he was still searching for any answers he could and she made sure to change his name from RANDY to CHRISΒ in her phone so the boys wouldn't suspect a thing. "I don't really know."

"So, have you been using your E.S.P. stuff?" Sam asked next, glancing over his shoulder to Delaney.

"No."

"Sure about that? I mean, now that you got immunity - whatever the Hell that is - who knows what other weirdo crap you got going on," Dean chimed in.

Delaney pushed down the guilt of having to lie to her brothers - something she hated doing. "No, boys, okay? You didn't want me to go down that road, so I didn't go down that road. It was practically Dean's dying wish."

Dean seemed to consider it for a moment before he eventually nodded, buying Delaney's lie. "Good. Keep it that way."

The Winchesters and Bobby finally made it to his psychic friend's house around seven in the morning and they stood on her porch while they waited for her to answer the door. It didn't take long for a beautiful woman with dark wavy hair and bright blue eyes to open the door, a bright smile on her face when she saw Bobby.Β

"Bobby!" the woman greeted and brought him in for a tight hug.

"You're a sight for sore eyes," Bobby said, pulling away from the woman and turning to the siblings behind him. "Laney, Dean, Sam - this is Pamela Barnes. Best damn psychic in the state."

The boys seemed to be transfixed by the beautiful woman who smiled politely at them. "Hey."

"Mmm, mmm, mmm. Dean Winchester, out of the fire and back in the frying pan, huh? Makes you a rare individual."

"If you say so."

"Come on in," Pamela invited and lead the way into the house, shutting the door behind her once everyone was in. "I ouija-ed my way through a dozen spirits. No one seemed to know who broke out your boy or why. I think we need to do a sΓ©ance. See if we can see who did the deed."

"You're not gonna summon the damn thing here?" Bobby asked in disbelief.

Pamela laughed at Bobby's accusation and shook her head. "No, no. Β I just want to sneak a peek at it, like a crystal ball without the crystal."

"I'm game," Dean agreed, following Pamela into the sΓ©ance room to their right.Β

Pamela spread a black tablecloth covered in symbols over a small table in the middle of the room. The three siblings eyed it warily and Dean cocked his head when Pamela squatted in front of a cabinet, revealing a scrawled tattoo across her lower back that reads: Jesse Forever. He nudged Sam to look where he was and the two boys eyed her lower back side, earning a disgusted eye roll from Delaney. Men.

"Who's Jesse?" Dean asked.

Pamela laughed and glanced down to the tattoo on her lower back. "Well, it definitely wasn't forever."

"His loss," Dean flirted, stuffing his hands into his jacket pocket.

Pamela stood up with a handful of candles in her hand, walking over to Dean and Sam with a teasing smile. "Might be your gain."

Dean whistled lowly and turned to his siblings with a smirk. "I am so in."

"Yeah, she's gonna eat you alive," Sam snorted, bowing his head to hide the amused smile that appeared on his face.

"Hey, I just got out of jail. Bring it."

"You're invited, too, grumpy," Pamela winked at Sam as she passed by the boys.

Dean turned to Sam who's grin only widened at Pamela's invitation and pointed a finger in his face. "You are not invited."

Delaney smacked both boys upside the head as she brushed past them to get to the table that Bobby had set up for Pamela, lighting all the candles in the middle. "Neither of you are invited because we got work to do."

"Party pooper," Dean grumbled, dropping into the chair next to Delaney while Sam sat on Delaney's other side in between her and Bobby.Β

Pamela took the seat on Dean's other side between him and Bobby after she cut the lights and closed the curtains, exhaling deeply. "Right, take each other's hands and I need to touch something our mystery monster touched."

Dean jumped up when Pamela placed her hand on Dean's thigh. "Whoa! Well, he didn't touch me there."

Pamela chuckled, but didn't necessarily seem sorry about it. "My mistake."

Dean hesitated for a moment before he slowly removed his flannel and rolled up the sleeve of his undershirt to reveal a large handprint branded into his bicep. Delaney gasped at the sight and snapped her gaze over to Sam and Bobby who looked guilty for hiding that from her. That should have been the first thing any of them told her because she could have shared that info with Randy, making his search easier. None of them would live this one down.

"Okay," Pamela whispered and closed her eyes, causing the other four to close theirs as well. She chanted "I invoke, conjure, and command you - appear unto me before this circle" Β over and over, the TV behind her suddenly switching on to static followed by a high-pitched ringing. "Castiel? Sorry, Castiel, I don't scare easily."

"Castiel?" Dean repeated.

"Its name. Its whispering to me, warning me to turn back," Pamela informed before she went back to chanting again, louder this time. The table began to shake violently and Delaney wondered if the candles would tip over and set the tablecloth aflame, her hand instinctively clutching both of her brothers' hands tighter who squeezed back assuringly. Though, Delaney could see the confusion and fear on both of their faces along with Bobby's.Β

"Maybe we should stop," Bobby suggested frantically.

Pamela turned to Bobby, her eyes being the only one still closed. "I almost got it! I command you - show me your face! Show me your face now!"

Suddenly, the lit candles in the middle of the table suddenly flared high into the air and Pamela screamed. Her eyes flew open and they were filled with a white-hot flame. She collapsed to the ground and the flames went out while the TV was shut off.

Bobby caught Pamela as she collapsed to the ground and shouted for the boys to call 9-1-1.

"I can't see! I can't see!" Pamela sobbed, opening her eyes that were now empty.

Delaney gulped as she stared down at Pamela. A demon couldn't possibly cause something like this... could it?

The Winchesters made their way over to a nearby diner while Bobby went with Pamela to the emergency room. Delaney had been chewing her nails nervously ever since and Dean had to keep tugging her hand away from her mouth before she had no fingernails left. She had even shot Randy a quick text about what happened, but hadn't received a response yet which only made her worry more.

"Yeah, you bet," Sam said, walking back over to the table and hanging up the phone.

"What did Bobby say?" Dean asked while Sam took the seat next to him at the table with Delaney across from them.

"Uh, Pam is stable and out of ICU," Sam responded.

"And blind 'cause of us?"

Delaney sighed heavily and resisted the urge to chew nervously at her fingernails again, even though it was the only thing keeping her anxiety in check. "And we still have no clue what we're dealing with."

"That's not entirely true. We got a name - Castiel or whatever. With the right mumbo jumbo, we could summon him, bring him right to us," Dean corrected, leaning his arms on the table.

"You're crazy. Absolutely not," Sam instantly shot down.Β

"Pam took a peek at him and her eyes burned out of her skull, and you want to have a face-to-face?" Delaney intoned, surprised that Dean could be that reckless.

"You got a better idea?"

Delaney crossed her arms and leant back in her seat, a determined look on her face as an idea popped into her head. "Yeah, as a matter of fact, I do. I followed demons here, right? So we go find them. Someone has to know something about something."

The waitress walked over to the table and placed the pies the boys ordered in front of them before she took the seat at the end of the table. All three of the siblings shot her varying looks of confusion.

"You angling for a tip, sweetheart?" Dean quipped.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were looking for us."

Delaney flinched when the waitress' eyes went black and a car repair man by the counter and a cook behind the counter also showed the demon-black eyes. The car repair man went to the door, locked it, and stood in front of it as if he were a guard. Well, guess they didn't have to go too far to find the demons.

"Dean..." the demon waitress trailed off her, the black fading back to the vessel's normal brown ones. "To Hell and back. You're a lucky duck."

"That's me."

"So, you get to just stroll out of the pit, huh? Tell me, what makes youΒ so special?"

"I like to think it's because of my perky nipples," Dean retorted, smiling sarcastically at the demon waitress. "I don't know. It wasn't my doing. I don't know who pulled me out."

"Right. You don't," the demon waitress mocked, clearly not believing that they didn't know a single thing about Dean's situation.

Dean glared at the demon waitress and clenched his fists on the table. "No, I don't."

"Lying's a sin, you know."

"So is killing, but that doesn't stop you bastards now does it," Delaney remarked, causing Sam to quickly cover her mouth when the demon's eyes snapped to hers. It seemed the demon waitress had something she wanted to say to Delaney, but was cut off by Dean.

"I'm not lying," Dean stressed, earning the demon waitress' attention again. "But I'd like to find out. So if you don't mind enlightening me, Flo."

"Mind your tone with me, boy. I'll drag you back to Hell myself."

Delaney went to lunge at the demon, but Sam was quick to hold her back and keep his hand around her mouth so she wouldn't make matters worse.

Dean eyed Delaney for a moment to make sure she was restrained enough before he turned a cocky smirk to the demon waitress. "No, you won't. 'Cause if you were, you'd have done it already. The fact is, you don't know who cut me loose. You're just as spooked as we are and you're looking for answers. Well, maybe it was some turbocharged spirit, hmm? Or, uh, Godzilla. Or some big, bad ass demon. I'm guessing at your pay grade that they don't tell you squat. 'Cause whoever it was, they wantΒ me out... and they're a lot stronger than you."

The demon waitress was quiet which only proved Dean's whole revelation to be true. None of the demons knew what did it, not even Randy. That's what made the situation that much more scary. What supernatural creature saved Dean and why did they want him out of Hell? There were too many questions and not enough answers.

"So, go ahead. Send me back," Dean continued when the demon waitress didn't even bother to defend herself. "Don't come crawling back to me when they show up on your front doorstep with some vaseline and a fire hose."

"I'm gonna reach down your throat and rip out your lungs," the demon waitress threatened.

Dean leant forward with a challenging look in his eyes and right hooked the demon, which she took and didn't hit back. He smirked and slammed a ten dollar bill down on the table. "That's what I thought. This is for the pie. Let's go, guys."

Sam tugged Delaney out of the diner so she wouldn't do anything to the demon waitress and was followed out by Dean. The trio quickly and tensely made their way across the street from the diner, away from the multiple demons inside.

"We're not just gonna leave them in there, are we?" Delaney asked, tugging her arm out of Sam's grip. She could easily send all three of those demons back to Hell and not kill the vessels they possessed. However, she couldn't necessarily do it in front of Sam and Dean because they didn't know she could do just that.

"Uh... yeah, Delaney. There's three of them and only one knife between us."

"I've been killing a lot more demons than that lately."

"Not anymore. Your two big brothers are back in your company."

Delaney frowned and stopped the two from walking mid-way down the block. "Boys, we got to take them. They are dangerous."

"No, they're scared, Delly. Scared of whatever had the power to rip Dean out of Hell," Sam countered. "We're dealing with something big and bad here. One job at a time please."

Delaney puffed out her cheeks while the boys continued their way back down the block towards the Impala so they could make their way to the motel. No way she'd just let this go.

Later that night, when both Dean and Sam had fallen asleep with lore books open in their laps on the couch, Delaney had snuck out with the Impala to go back to the diner and stake out the demons inside. She had texted Randy on her way over to get him to meet up with her so she could bring him up to speed about what happened.

Delaney's cell phone on the seat next to her rang and she answered it when she saw it was Dean. "Hello?"

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Couldn't sleep so I went to get a burger," Delaney lied, glancing out the window again to see if any of the demons had come out of the diner.

"In my car?"

"Force of habit. Sorry, Dee. What are you doing up?" Delaney asked.

"Well, uh, Bobby's back. We're going to grab a beer with him."

Delaney chewed on her lip and sighed softly, feeling bad she wouldn't be going out with her brothers and Bobby. They were finally all together again and she wasn't there to celebrate. "Alright. Well, uh, spill some for me, huh?"

"Anything for you, baby girl. I'll catch you later."

Delaney tossed her phone onto the seat next to her again and closed her eyes, letting out a long breath to relax herself. Once she was sure she was okay, Delaney pushed her way out of the Impala and snuck into the diner after lock picking her way inside. The cook from earlier was laid face down on the floor in a pool of his own blood behind the counter. She squatted down next to him and turned him over to see his eyes were burned out of his skull like Pamela's had.

A figure tackled Delaney from behind and Delaney rolled onto her back to see it was the demon waitress. They fought back and forth for a few moments until Delaney shoved her away. She also had empty, burned out eye sockets and blood trickling down her face. Even without her eyes, Delaney could tell she was terrified.

"Your eyes."

"I could still smell your soul a mile away," the demon waitress panted, her fists still held in front of her in defense.

"Who was here? You saw it?" Delaney demanded, needing answers and needing them now.

"I saw it," the demon waitress replied and began to sob, her fists lowering just the smallest bit. "It's the end. We're dead. We're all dead."

Delaney felt a chill go down her spine because if this demon was scared of the thing that rose Dean, then that couldn't mean anything good. Probably being a lot more severe than the three siblings could ever think possible. "What did you see?"

"Go to Hell."

Delaney's eyes hardened and she poked her tongue into her cheek, officially done with this demon. She shrugged and planted her feet firmly on the ground beneath her. "Funny... I was just about to tell you the same thing, bitch." She raised her hand and shut her eyes, concentrating on where in Hell she wanted to send this thing.Β The demon waitress heaved and began to vomit black smoke into her hand. Within seconds, the demon had collapsed to the floor as the demon was sucked down into the Pit.Β

Delaney slowly opened her eyes and crossed the floor to the woman, squatting next to her to check her pulse. However, she didn't feel a single thing beneath her fingers and sighed in disappointment. Her head snapped up when the kitchen door swung open and Randy strolled over to her.

"Getting pretty slick there, princess," Randy praised, smiling proudly as Delaney stood back to her full height. "Better every single time."

Delaney returned Randy's smile briefly, but it quickly fell when her eyes landed back on the dead waitress at her feet. "What the hell is going on, Randy?"

Randy frowned as he eyed the now dead waitress, a stress filled sigh leaving his lips. "I wish I knew, Lanes."

"Dean and Sam think it's some high-level demon pulled Dean out," Delaney informed, sticking her hands into her back pockets and rocking back on her heels. "But... I don't know. The brand on Dean's arm... no demon I ever heard of could have done that."

"No way," Randy shook his head and lead Delaney over to the nearby booth, the two sitting next to each other on the same bench with Delaney leant back against the wall. "Babe, human souls don't just walk out of Hell and back into their bodies easy. The sky bleeds, the ground quakes - it's cosmic. No demon can swing that. Not Lilith... not anybody."

Delaney huffed and relaxed slightly when Randy's hand slid into hers, squeezing assuringly to remind her he was there for her. "Then what can, Ran? I mean... this is way bigger than the boys and I ever had to deal with."

"Nothing I have ever seen before, I can tell you that much," Randy replied and scooted closer to Delaney, draping his arm across the back of the bench. "The million dollar question is - are you going to tell Dean and Sam about what we're doing... or us?"

Delaney scoffed and leant her head back against the wall, glancing back down to their linked hands in her lap. "Yeah, I'd rather face a Hellhound. How do I even tell them that not only have I been using my abilities that they didn't want me to in the first place, but I've also been shackled up with you four months and that we're not just friends or acquaintances?" Her eyes flickered up to Randy's face and pouted at his disappointed expression. "I just need time, okay? That's all."

"They're gonna find out and if it's not from you, they're gonna be pissed, princess," Randy gently chastised.

"They're gonna be pissed anyway, Randy. They're both so hardheaded about this psychic stuff and you, they'll just try to stop me and then kill you with the knife for even breathing in my direction, little lone having fun times."

Randy was quiet for a long moment and ran his thumb along Delaney's knuckles while he thought. "Maybe I should take a step back for a while, you know?"

"Ran - "

"I mean, I'm not exactly in Dean or Sam's fan club," Randy cut Delaney off before she could argue further. "They're your brothers and I'm not gonna come between you guys."

Delaney pushed herself off the wall and scooted over so her and Randy's faces were inches apart. "Listen, I don't know if what I'm doing is right - both the abilities and you."

Randy made a low sound as if he had been punched in the gut and teasingly placed a hand over his heart. "You wound me, princess."

Delaney giggled and placed her finger over Randy's lips to stop him from talking. "What I do know is I'm saving people... and stopping demons. That feels good to me and I don't want to stop doing just that. Plus... I guess you're not too hard on the eyes so you can stay and you're definitely the best demon I've come across."

Randy chuckled and leant in to kiss Delaney gently who kissed him back before they both pulled away with Randy placing his forehead on Delaney's. "I guess you're not that bad of a human. I'll be here every step of the way like I have been. I promise."

Delaney smiled softly at him and leant her head on his chest, relaxing into his embrace. She knew that the boys wouldn't be pleased with everything she's done over the past four months. However, she was saving people and with the help from Randy, she could find Lilith and bring her down finally. She just needed a way to break it to the boys without them getting pissed.

After all, what could possibly go wrong at this point... right?

AUTHORS NOTE

WELCOME TO BOOK FOUR IN DELANEY'S SERIES! This part will definitely have a lot of drama because we all love it.Β

PLEASE DO NOT GO AT DELANEY FOR BEING WITH RANDY! There are reasons for the things she is doing, Randy and the abilities included. You guys only got a brief glimpse at why the two are the way that they are. There are still MANY things that are to come to light from the past four months between them still that you'll find out soon enough. So don't attack Delaney because we all know Delaney always does things for a reason, regardless of the outcomes. Plus, the poor girl needs at least SOMETHING to keep her happy and sane... even if it's a rogue demon.
