ᴀᴜᴛʜᴏʀ's ᴘᴏᴠ

It was the morning and akshita had returned from her father's home. She reached early as the family members were yet to wake up. She made the way to her room. The door was unlocked which she pushed open and entered closing it back.

Her vision traveled to the room and set on the bed which was empty. Her expressions frowned as the thought of her husband knocked in her mind.

Where must be he?

She turned to the washroom door but her steps halted as the sight before left her in adoration. She saw the struggling figure of her husband laying on the couch which was smaller than his height. He had crawled himself to adjust over it while his head was little outward from the surface of pillow. The blanket half laying over floor as she saw him clutching something to his chest but ignored next moment thinking it must be his book Or anything which he was reading before falling asleep.

Her feet took her to him as she sat on the floor and smiled at him with the adoration and love filled gaze. She covered the quilt properly over his shoulders and rested her palm over his head. Her eyes not leaving the sight of his handsome face as looking how cutely he was sleeping she couldn't resist herself from giving him a light peck over the head.

She flushed instantly as the intimate memory of their holi hitted across her mind. Her body started burning as she felt his tempting touch still printed over her skin.

Unable to take it even when he wasn't looking at her, she stood up and ran inside the washroom to rein back her uncontrolled feelings.

"Mmmhh!" Rudra groaned as he shifted side on the small area leading to his fall, he cursed the couch and yawned stretching his body. His attention pulled by the chain and diary in his hand. He got up then picking the letters and box kept them in his cupboard instead of hers. He wore the chain and smiled looking at it.

"Rudra!" He turned to see his father standing outside the room. Immediately approaching him, he went outside.

"Yes Papa!"

"Beta, Mr.Rawat has come. He handles our cases related to property and you know about that Haweli case. If you can give any suggestions then he is waiting outside." Rudra shook his head and held his father's palm.

"There's nothing to suggest papa, I belive in whatever you have decided."

"Still check it once!" Rudra's father said somewhere feeling proud about his son's good behaviour.

"I will check everything, don't worry. And I will meet Rawat sahab too." He nooded and left from there.

Whereas rudra sighed standing there. He was waiting was akshita too come as without her he doesn't feel like to live in the room alone and after what he read last night, his feelings were creating a havoc over him. With those thoughts he entered in his room and directly sat over the bed with his mobile ignoring the sight completely.

His appearance altered akshita, who was at that time sitting before the dressing table and getting ready with her jewelery. She eyed him from the mirror as his lack of attention gave her the chance to admire him little bit. Her lips curved in a soft smile and she resumed her work of drying her hair with the towel again.

Rudra's body moved as he felt few drops of water sprinkled on his face. He touched his cheek then looked upwards to get a high voltage shock leading him to the dreamland.

His breathe cut short as he saw his little wife sitting just before him in her regular heavy lehenga. Her bare waist was facing him which made him gulp the just formed desires. His vision followed by her beautiful face, as those soft lips were getting bitten by her teeth and her long eyelashes lowered with her eyes glaring at her own hairs which had messed up too much to cause pain to her.
He chuckled unconsciously at her cuteness. He stood up and stepped in her direction. His lips parted and eyes staring at her like there's no end.

Akshita sensed the movement and looked through the mirror. Her eyes stuck with his as the both made a sweet eyelock. Her eyes noticed the intensity in his hazel pairs that she had never seen before. She felt a kind of familiarity in them as if her rudra has come back, the one whom she had lost years ago. She could remember the look in his eyes with which he used to admire her. Her rudra, who used to make her feel like she is a princess of somewhere and he her prince who will protect her always.

Nowadays her heart has gripped over the old memories which don't allow her to move on from him and his thoughts.

"Beautiful!" He voiced out still locked in the trance. His eyes checked her through the mirror as the pink designed lehenga with a green embroidered blouse was making her more beautiful than she was.

"Huh!?" She felt deaf at what compliment he gave her and the shock turned out as a question.

"You are looking beautiful, akshu! Just like a princess you are!" This time he didn't compliment her through any trance but in real. He was wanting to admire her, give her compliments and tell her about his growing feelings. About how much he is craving nowadays for her, for her love, for her cute talks with which she used to irritate him in childhood.

Akshita's eyes turned misty and a wide smile spread through her lips. She blushed and lowered her eyelashes. He chuckled at her turning all red which was ofcourse his effect and he was proud for that.

To clear her nervousness she pretended to ignore him and picked up her mangalsutra trying to tie it around her neck but the nervousness which had crept inside her caused failure to her attempts. Rudra noticed her hands shaking. He smiled away at it and grabbed both ends of her mangalsutra.

"Can i?" One word from him and she lowered her eyes again gesturing him to proceed.

Rudra picked up the precious jewel. It was elegant and light. He touched her soft curls and tossed them on her shoulder then circling his hand before her. His fingers brushed on her delicate skin which spread shivers in her body. Rudra felt her milky skin, his eyes shifted on her face as keeping those killing stares over her he did his work efficiently.

He then saw the metal box filled with vermillion and those faded memories freshen up in his mind. He saw the flashes from their marriage. His little akshu's smile and excitement came in front of his eyes and a beautiful smile formed over his handsome face.

It was the day when Akshita and Rudransh were going to tie a sacred knot for life. Both of them were unaware of the deep meaning of marriage. Rudra who knew a little enough of it was unhappy with the decision of his parents. He was feeling hesitant and awkward with the situation. He loves his little akshu more than anything but marriage at this age when she doesn't know to anything about life. He wasn't much old neither akshita was. Both were like 6 & 14 respectively.

Where on other hand akshita was happy, excited and overwhelmed. Marriage was not the reason but the happiness of living with rudra for lifetime was enough for her to reach on cloud nine.

Both were sitting side by side and performing the rituals with the guidance of their parents. They completed the var puja and jai-mala. Now it was time for the sindoor-dan. Mamta came forward with a thaal where a beautiful metal box was kept and the vermillion filled in it. She looked at her son and gestured him to fill akshita's hair-partition with it.

Rudraansh turned his face and looked beside him at akshita, who in returns gave him the most precious smile of hers. His heart fluttered seeing her dimple dripping smile. All the unhappy thoughts flew away and just the peace resembled in his heart. He reciprocated the same smile only for the sake of her happiness.

Finally sliding away every hesitancy he glanced at the box and dipped two fingers in it. Grabbing the pinchfull of vermillion he lifted his palm till her head and dropped it in her hair.
They both looked at each other, where akshu cutely giggled and his eyes softened further more.

The priest passed him the precious jewel that of the mangalsutra and rudra followed his instructions by tieing it around her neck.

Their marriage took place by the completion of 7 peheras which tied them together in a sacred bond of marriage for the lifetime.

"Rudra!" An desperate akshita voiced out as she realised that her husband was lost somewhere so deep to neglect her presence. He was continuously gazing at her like his life depends on it and his actions were utterly embarrassing her. She couldn't take so much in one day but fortunately or unfortunately rudra was in no mood to back off.

"Rudra!!" She sounded little loud bringing him out of the la-la land.

"H_Haan? Akshu?"

A crimson blush crepted up from her neck as she could feel the heat around herself and sparks running through her body just by him calling her name so sweetly.

Rudra noticed this and a mischievous smirk formed on his lips. He intentionally called her again with his deep husky masculine voice.

"Yes, Akshu? Say!"

Her ears turned red at the deep mention, unable to manage it more she kept her eyes down and turned to leave but a tender tug on her wrist and she melted like a cube of ice. He didn't say or do anything. Just brought her closer and filled her hair portion with the red vermillion. Her eyes closed at his cold touch and a tear of satisfaction made it's way out of her eye.

She looked up and matched his gaze to get him already staring at her with those eyes full of love, care and devotion. What should she take it as? She couldn't understand him. He was like that puzzle which she can neither solve and nor abandon.

Why is he so complicated?

She thought trying to catch some hint for her millions of questions. And he was staring at her like there was no today or tomorrow and just them. His heart and mind were now more clear about what he wants. He could feel the peace resembling in his heart at the unknown or known thought.

Akshita's eyes fluttered once more when the rough pairs of lips were pressed against her forehead. Her palms were in his grib as his thumbs were doing the magic of relaxation just by the loving caresses.

They both stayed in the same position as neither he and nor was she in the mood of backing off. Them and their moment continued untill shame struck through her soul and with a blushing smile she pushed him by keeping her palms over his chest and ran out of the room getting overwhelmed with a beautiful emotion.

He chuckled at his deeds and shook his head remembering his blushing wife, his little akshu.
