Stood on the stage was the Pro-Hero Midnight. Not one of my favorite hero costumes I've seen but Midnight is a total badass! I look around in the crowd of students and spot both Ichigo and Pony in the crowd. I smile and then turn back to the teacher. "Hello and welcome to the annual UA High School Sports Festival games!" She says throwing her hands in the air. The crowd goes wild and makes a whole bunch of noise. "For today the games will be selected at random. But before we start we have chosen a student to say some words before we start..." She says. I wonder who? I ask myself. "Katsuki Bakugo from Class 1-A of the Hero Course!" She says pointing to the blonde boy. 

He walks up to the stage and stands in front of the microphone. "I want you all to know that...I'm going to win." He says as the crowd boos. What a dick, I mean could've said something else but know you had to say that. I say to myself. "Well thank you...I think for those words. Now for the first game!" She says as the boy walks off. She points to a spinner and it lands on Obstacle Course. An obstacle course huh? I did and still, do tons of those with Mia when we're bored...piece of cake! I say to myself. "Obstacle Course, for this game every student will go through an obstacle course designed by Pros and are allowed to use their quirks as long as you stay on the course." She says explaining.

We all gather by a tunnel and wait for the buzzer. "AND GO-GO!!!!" Present Mic says as the buzzer sounds. Everyone rushes into the tunnel and the temperature suddenly drops. I look down to see the ground has turned to ice and only one person I know has an ice quirk. So, Todoroki froze the ground. Smart but I have something better. I smirk to myself. I take out my pen and quickly draw a dagger bringing it up and stabbing through the ice breaking it and running through the tunnel. I make it out and the ground starts to shake. It's familiar like- My thoughts are interrupted by the shadow of a giant robot from the entrance exam leers over us.

Shoot! I think quickly about what could help me in this situation but am stopped by ice freezing the robot and stopping it. "Be careful I froze it on an angel." Todoroki says before skating off into first. A gun would help but this is a school event and that would be illegal. So I think of the next best thing and make a ram shooting it through the bot and running quickly to catch up to Todoroki but Bakugo and some others take that and I am left in 7th place. I notice a robot trying to attack Pony so I throw a ram at it once again saving her. "Thanks Iris!" Pony smiles. "No problem but we're against each other don't forget." I wink at her before running off. I take out a few more robots before catching up with Ochaco and Mina.

I stop and look down to see a giant gorge with ropes and flat areas. "When did they have the time to make this?!" Mina asks. "Hehe, just the thing to put my babies to the test!" A voice says from behind us. We turn to a girl with pink hair and red and yellow goggles on her face also with a ton of gadgets. Support Course. I say to myself. "Hey, how come you got to bring all that stuff??" Mina asks. "The Hero Course students get all the chances to show off their quirks but the festival is a time for everyone to shine! Especially Support Course who get to show off all their cool inventions." She says.

The festival has every UA course in it except for Business Course students who don't really need to show off their quirks or anything so they spend the time working on well business by selling stuff to spectators. The girl shoots some sort of wire across from her waist and jumps into the gorge. Crazy girl. I say to myself. Tsu jumps onto one of the wires and climbs across it. I guess she's at an advantage being a frog and stuff. Todoroki zooms across with his ice having Bakugo close behind. Iida speeds across as well. I draw a flat circle and glid across the ropes with is now placing me in 5th place. 

"Class 1-A's Iris Cotton takes 5th place with a drawing quirk called Animate!!" Present Mic says as I run to the next obstacle. It is a minefield. What the hell? Aren't we kids?? I ask myself. The field wasn't dangerous and if you did step on a mine it would just toss you in the air and not hurt you. As I run across, slowly, I notice Midoriya using a piece of metal to dig up the mines. Weird... I say to myself. I see Ichigo run past me and look back at me with a smirk on her face. Suddenly a giant explosion happens and non-other than Midoriya is flying across the field. "Woah! This is unexpected but Class 1-A's Izuku Midoriya flies in catching up to the first place!!" Present Mic says.

Well, I didn't see that coming! I say. He just passes both Todoroki and Bakugo gaining first place and running out and back to the field. Todoroki had frozen the ground and it was easier for the rest of us to make it across. I make it out of the course with 6th place and the crowd cheers as people start coming back. I put my hands on my knees and throw my head down panting for breath. "Hey, Cotton-san you did amazing! Great job using your quirk." I hear a voice say. I look up to see Ichigo with her hair tied back in a ponytail looking at me. "Thanks, you too!" I say throwing a thumbs up. Everyone else comes back and it was back to the spinner for our next challenge.

The spinner spins stopping at Calvery Battle. "Calvery Battle, this one you all will pick teams of either three or four and will all be pointed on how well you ranked in the last course. The third place will be 1,000, second 10,000, and first...10,000,000!!" She says pointing to Midoriya as everyone glares at him. I could see the nervousness on the boy's face. Damn, that hurts. I say looking at the curly green-haired boy. The next after Calvery Battle would be the one-on-one battles that happen every year. Those are the ones that will give me the chance to be placed in the top three.
