My phone buzzes in my pocket. The sound was off but I could feel it vibrate. I tap Siberia on the shoulder to get her attention. "I need to take this I'll be right back," I whisper. "Ok." She replies. I quietly get up and walk out into the hall. It was my dad who was calling. When I told my parents about my work-study and how I would be gone for a while they asked me to call them every night, which I did, but they very rarely called during the day. I swipe my screen and answer. "Hello, Dad? What's up?" I ask speaking into the phone. "I'm at Hosu General with your mom and Mia...something happened-" He says before I cut him off. "What?! What happened? Is it Mia? Is she hurt? Is she ok?" I ask frantically at hearing my sister's name and Hosu General in the same sentence.

"Your sister had a seizer. The doctors are running some tests as we speak. Your mother is with her. They think it might have been caused by her quirk or her blood sugar was too high...they're not for sure though, which is why they're running tests. I know that you and Ricky are busy with your work studies but when you both are done I need you both to catch the first train here!" He says. "Yes! And dad...please tell Mia to hang in there! I don't want her to get hurt again...remember why I entered into UA? It's for her. So please, make sure she's ok!" I say my voice starting to choke up as tears run down my now pink cheeks. "Yes..." My father replies hanging up.

I put my hands on my chest as my back hits the wall. I slide down to the ground as my face fills with tears. It's my fault! If I had only been there that night. To save her! She wouldn't have these issues! If I had only been there when this happened...please...hang in there Mia! For me! I say to myself as I bury my face in my knees tears now fully covering my face. After about ten minutes I fix myself and wipe my face. I put my phone back in my pocket and walk back into the room. I take my seat next to Siberia. "Tamaki was shot, and the bullet contained some kind of drug  I've never heard of before. One that destroys quirks." Fatgum says.

"What! Destroys quirks?" Ana says confused. "Woah, what? Tamaki, you're okay, right?" Mirio asks standing from his seat. "Is that what the bandage is for? Because you were shot with some drug? And your quirk...is it gone?" Ricky asks pointing to the bandage on Tamaki's arm. "Yeah, the stuff wore off while I slept. And my quirk is fine. Here, look, I've got this cow hoof and everything." He says holding up his hand that now represented a cow's hoof. "I guess we know what you had for breakfast." I say. "I'm glad to know the effects aren't permanent at least. So this stuff doesn't zap a quirk for good." Locklock says. "No. But Eraser Head has some further insight." Nighteye says motioning his hand to the tired man.

"It doesn't seem to function exactly like my Erasure does. Since I'm not actually attacking the quirk directly." He starts. "What we call a quirk is an extraordinary addition to an ordinary human body. Those additions are collectively referred to as "quirk genes." I can shield genes and temporarily block their expression, but I don't actually damage them." He adds. "But after Tamaki here was shot, we brought him to the hospital, and they found that his quirk genes had sustained damage. Fortunately, they seem to have healed on their own, and he's back to normal now." Fatgum says.

"What do we know about the substance he was shot with?" Nighteye asks. "Whatever it was didn't harm the rest of his body. Nothing but his quirk was impaired in any way. The guy who shot him clammed up. He won't say a word. And the round that hit Tamaki was totally spent. However, Kirishima bravely defended Tamaki from a bullet, which then bounced off his own body and should now provide us with a viable sample." Fatgum answers. A bullet?! Really? I knew that E's Hardening was strong but to have a whole dang bullet bounce off of you! That's something else. I'm kinda jealous. I say to myself in awe.

"Woah! I did that? Really? That's crazy!" Ejiro says pointing a finger at his face. I could tell by his face that he was completely lost as to what is going on. But I'm a little lost too so can't blame him. The Big Three and Ricky probably know more about this than we do. "Wow, awesome job, Kirishima!" Ochaco chirps. "That's so cool!" Tsu says. "You sounded so brave! And in your own words super manly too!" I clap. "Oh, yeah. His quirk. It's Hardening, right?" Nejire asks. We all quiet ourselves as Fatgum speaks up again.

He said that the substance in the bullet had contained human blood and cells. I tried not to get sick at the words he had said. "Sounds like something out of a scary movie..." Tsu says. "Could someone really be that cruel? And if it has human blood and cells wouldn't a quirk be doing that?" I ask. "So in other words...a quirk that destroys other quirks." Ryukyu says. "I'm still confused and not connecting the dots here. What does all this stuff have to do with the Hissaikai?" Another Pro asks. "The man who shot Tamaki used an illegal drug to boost his quirk during his fight with Kirishima. The distribution channels for stuff like that are complex. Although things've shrunk since the old days, drugs still pass through various people and organizations before they finally reach the end user." Fatgum explains.

"There's no concrete evidence that Hissaikai handled the drug, but we know for a fact they interacted." He adds. "Is that all you have?" Creek asks. "The other day, Ryukyu's team broke up a fight between two villain groups. One of those groups was controlled by the intermediary organization that Fatgum just mentioned." Nighteye says before Ryukyu speaks again. "One of the two giants had been given an inferior drug that didn't last long." Ryukyu says. "There have been a rash of gang-related crimes recently, and most could be connected to the Hassaikai if you tried hard enough." Siberia adds. "Which is what it seems like you're doing: trying to make them guilty. Don't you have anything that implicates them more clearly?" A Pro asks.

A picture shows on the screen of a man with short dark brown hair and yellow eyes with a bird mask that looks similar to the one people wore during the plague. I could see that Mirio and Deku had shock on their faces when they looked at the image. "Their young head, Chisaki: quirk, Overhaul. With this power, he can disassemble things and then reassemble them. A quirk that allows him to completely break down matter. And a bullet that can break down quirks..." Nighteye says. His quirk allows him to break down matter?! That means he can completely kill someone and then bring them back to life as nothing happened basically! It makes my bones chill. I say to myself.

"Chisaki has a daughter named Eri. There are no records or details about her birth. But when Mirio and Midoriya encountered her, they noticed there were bandages wrapped around her arms and legs." Nighteye adds. "So, someone can really be that cruel..." I say quietly out loud. "Could he really do something so horrific?" Ryukyu asks. "Unfortunately, yes. In a world of superhumans, if you can dream it, you can do it." Gran Torino replies. "Hold on, what are they talking about?" Ejiro asks. "Once again, why do we have children in this meeting? I'll say this one time: We're wondering if this Chisaki bastard is turning his daughter's body into bullets and selling them on the black market." Locklock answers.

"No..."

"Oh, don't tell me..." I say.

"To be clear, we aren't certain that he's actually selling the bullets. At this point, their efficacy appears to be questionable. It's possible they're still in the testing phase, and he's giving them out as samples to rally more people to his cause. We have no hard evidence, but we do know he's gathering allies and funds from across the nation. If the completed drug allows him to annihilate someone's quirk entirely, imagine the devastation he could cause." Nighteye says. "Just talking about it's enough to make my blood boil. Let's go get this monster!" Fatgum says clenching his hand. "Tch. Woulda saved us a lot of trouble if these two amateurs had just gotten the girl away from him." Locklock says looking at Deku and Mirio.

"I take full responsibility. The blame should not fall on them. Even without knowing the whole story, they acted to save the child, each in their own way. Midoriya was willing to bear the risk of taking her then, while Mirio chose to wait for another opportunity when success would be more likely." Nighteye says defending the boys. "We'll get Eri away from him next time..." Deku says as both him and Mirio stand. "...and we'll protect her!" They both say. "Indeed. That's precisely what we've come here to discuss." Nighteye says.

"Huh. You kids wanna talk big, that's fine. But if what Nighteye is saying is for real, that little girl is at the center of Hissaikai's entire underground drug operation. She may have managed to get away from Overhaul for a few minutes, but she got herself seen by a couple of heroes. You think he's still gonna keep her at home after that? Hell, I know I sure wouldn't. And if we go bustin' into their headquarters and she's not there, they're gonna know that we're onto them. We gotta be sure of where he's hidin' her." Locklock says. "He has a point. Do you have a plan for that, Nighteye?" Siberia asks. "That's our conundrum. Since we don't currently know how far they've taken their plans, the success of our initial strike is crucial." Nighteye replies.

"To that end, we've made a thorough list of groups with connections to Hissaikai, this is our starting point." He says as a map of Japan shows on the screen with marks on certain parts. "I would like you all to investigate each coordinate on this map. It is the most logical way to narrow down our targets." Nighteye adds. "So that's why you asked minor heroes like us to join you." Creek says. "What do you mean?" Another Pro from across the room. "Go on. Look. The heroes in this room all operate in one of those locales. We know the areas better than most." Siberia says. She was right though. Her agency was located in a city that was marked.

"Didn't expect someone who worked with All Might for so long to be such a careful planner. Let's just go bring 'em down! While we're taking our sweet time, that abused girl is out there crying somewhere." Fatgum objects. "We can't do this like All Might would. That's why we must be meticulous about our strategies and predictions from the outset. So we have the highest chance of saving her." Nighteye says. "He's right. We shouldn't rush. If we show our hand and don't end up rescuing her, then we'd just be throwing gas on a fire. Like how Stain's capture was a beacon that led criminals to seek out and join the League. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they handed out quirk-destroying weapons to those hoodlums in order to increase their recruitment." Gran Torino says.

"You're thinking too dang much! If we keep sitting here yappin' about it, we're never gonna get anything done!" Fatgum says. "Excuse me. I've got a question. I don't know the specifics of your quirk, Nighteye. Feel free to correct. But from what I've heard of it, your quirk, Foresight allows you to see into the future. So why not use it against us. That's logical, right?" Mr. Aizawa asks. "I'm sorry. But I cannot. My Foresight has some limitations." Nighteye says. He explains his quirk and how he can't use it on us to see into the future. If he were to use it and see death then I don't know what would happen. I would freak out if it was me but he said he could only use it on one person a day. Silence falls in the room and it made me nervous and a bit uncomfortable.

"We must confirm the girl's location and take her into our protection as quickly as possible using the most accurate data. I'm counting on your help. All of you." Nighteye says. The meeting was concluded. I walked out with my brother, the big three, and my friends.

"Rick I forgot to tell you. We need to head to Hosu General...Mia's there with mom and dad and they asked us to come when we were done." I say grabbing my brother's sleeve. "What?!" He says. "Calm down. Just wait here I need to go and tell the others and Siberia before we go...you should do the same." I say walking back inside to tell the others. I first tell Siberia that I have to go and I'll be back soon. I then walk to tell my friends. Ricky and I then take the train to the hospital. Both of our parents were sitting in the waiting room. It turns out that it was more than a seizer and that she had gotten sick and would have to stay in the hospital for at least a week. I still felt like it was my fault.
