I feel a tap on my shoulder and I look up to see Ochaco with a big smile on her face. "Hey Ochaco!" I say giving her a small wave. "I'm so happy we're here!" She says hugging me. I hear the door open and she turns to it and is surprised when she sees a certain curly green-haired boy in the doorway. So he did get in. I say to myself as Ochaco walks over to the boy. I get up and walk over with her. "So you did get in!" She says to the boy. "Oh y-yeah." He stutters. "I guess I never introduced myself...I'm Ochaco Uraraka!" She smiles. "H-hello." He says. "And I'm her best friend! The names Iris Cotton!" I say smiling at the boy. "Cotton did you say Cotton?" He asks. "Oh yeah, you probably recognize the name from my brother he's a third-year here." I say.

"Damn Deku how'd you get in here anyway!?!!?" An angry voice asks. We all turn to see an angry blonde boy, Mrs. Mitsuki's son I'm sure, march over to the door and stand up to the boy. He towers over the green boy but not by a whole lot. I inch over to my seat away from the door. Soon a weird man who looks tired comes into the room breaking up the violence. He introduces himself as Shota Aizawa our homeroom teacher. He gives us blue uniforms that are PE uniforms and tells us to change into them because we will be having quirk tests. I grab mine and walk with the other girls in my class to the changing room.

I pick a locker, number 50, and open it putting my white shoes into it and start to take off my uniform blouse. "Are those horns from your quirk?" I hear a high voice ask. I turn to see who said that but couldn't find anyone. "Over here!" The voice says again. "My quirk makes me invisible so you can't see me but I am here. Now about those horns. Are they from your quirk?" The voice asks. "Oh yeah my dad's quirk is called Sheep and I inherited it along with my mother's." I smile. "I'm Iris Cotton by the way." I add. "Toru Hagekure!" The girl says. "Nice to meet you Hagekure." I say unbuttoning my shirt. 

I put on the blue pants and zip up the shirt. I walk over to where the rest of the girls are and sit down on a bench. I put on a pair of pink tenny-shoes that we're given but break the shoelace. Well crap, how'd this happen? I ask myself. The girl next to me had dark black hair that was tied back into a ponytail. I tap her on the shoulder to ask her a question. "Uh, sorry to ask you this but you wouldn't happen to have an extra shoelace on hand would you?" I ask. "Oh no but I can make you one!" She says smiling. Make me one? What does she mean by that? I ask myself. She pulls a pink shoelace from her hand and I look at her in amazement. 

"It's my quirk it allows me to turn body-liquids into energy which allows me to create things. Such as this shoelace. My name's Momo Yaoyorozu by the way!" She says. She hands me the shoelace and I take it. "Iris Cotton," I say. "Your quirk is really awesome too!" I add looping the lace through my shoe holes. "Thank you!" She says. I notice a familiar pink-skinned and haired girl from across the room. I stand up and walk over to her. "Mina right Mina Ashido?" I ask. "Yeah! Wait you look familiar like I've seen you somewhere else? Oh! I remember you saved me from almost being crushed by that robot at the exams." She says. "Yeah, my name's Iris Cotton!" I say. "Well nice meeting you again Cotton." She says.

All of us girls walk out of the changing room to the field where the boys were standing. It was complete silence so I assumed they didn't talk to each other. Our teacher explains that we will be going through small tests to see how each other's quirks work. I was glad I brought paper and a pencil because I need those for my quirk. He throws a softball to the blonde-haired boy and asks him to throw the ball as far as he can with his quirk. He throws the ball and a robotic voice says. "705.0 meters." Wow that was far! I think to myself. The first one was a 40-meter dash and again we were allowed to use our quirks. 

When it came to my turn I was up against Ashido. I knew little about her quirk other than the fact it is an emitter class and could have something to do with acid. I pull out my paper and draw out a skateboard before the buzzer sounds for us to go I bring it to life and hop on it speeding through the 40 meters. Not fast enough though because Ashido beats me by an inch. I didn't want to get last since the last place would be expelled. Expelling someone on the first day that's fricking crazy!! I think to myself getting rid of the skateboard that I had created. "Wow was that your quirk?!" Ashido asks. "Yeah it was my mother's side of my quirk and what I can do is draw something and use it to help me in combat of battle as defense of offense," I say. "So far I can hold up to four big creations for up to an hour."

"One sec I'll show you." I say looking down and drawing out a pink Laffy Taffy candy. I give it life and pull it out of my paper and hand it to Ashido. "It tastes just like the real thing!" I smile as she looks at the wrapper in awe. She opens it and pops it into her mouth. "Wow! It does taste exactly like it." She says eyes lighting up. I smile at her as she looks at me in complete awe. We go through the other tests which were things like pull-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, and other things like that. The final one was the ball throw. Hm since we're using our quirks I could draw a bat and hit it? I mean I'm still technically using my quirk. I say to myself. 

It was my turn and I draw the baseball bat and pull it out. I take the ball and throw it up hitting it as hard as I can. "604.9 meters!" The robotic voice says. Next was Ochaco's turn. I walk back and smile at my friend. She touches the ball and uses her quirk nullifying the gravity in the ball. "∞!" The robot says. I give a small clap congratulating my friend. A couple of people go and it comes down to the curly green boy's turn to throw. A red light surrounds him and he throws the ball and a gush of wind comes at us. I look at him and take note of his finger which is now broken.

After that we all group back to see the results. I had gotten tenth place which I was fine with along as it wasn't last. The green boy whose name must be Izuku Midoriya was the one who had gotten the last place and would be expelled. "And no one will be expelled!" Our teacher smiles. Well, that was cruel. I say to myself. We all go back to the changing rooms some stopping at Recovery Girl's office to have injuries healed. I put my normal uniform on and walk out with the rest of my classmates. 

When we get back to class I stop by Yaoyorozu's desk to ask her a question. "Hey, can I ask you something?" I ask her. "Yes of course shoot!" She says. "What's your favorite candy?" I ask. "Uhm, I really like Ferrero Rocher." She says. I whip out my paper and pencil drawing out a perfect drawing of the fancy chocolate. I pull it out of my paper and hand it to the girl. "Oh! How wonderful thank you Cotton!" She says. "Just to repay you for the shoelace." I smile at her. At the end of the day Ochaco and I walk out of the building. Ochaco notices the green boy walking with a boy with dark blue hair and glasses. "Heyy! Deku right?!" She asks as we approach the boys.

"Uh!" The boy says. "That Bakugo boy from the tests called you Deku. That's your name right?" She asks. "Oh no that's just something Kacchan calls me to make fun of me." He says rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh, I didn't know. I kinda think it's cute and will make a great hero name one day!" She smiles. "Deku it is!" The boy says. "Wait how'd you change so quick didn't you just say it was an insult?" I ask. "Yeah don't be so quick to change Midoriya." The blue boy says. He rambles on before all of us walk to the train station. I separate from the group when we come to my house. 

I wave them goodbye and I enter the house. "Iri!!!" I hear Mia say. "How was your first day? Did you become a hero yet? I have so many questions! Tell me tell me!" She says. "Ok Mia pod calm down give Iris some space to answer." My dad says. "My day was great and I have not become a hero yet." I smile at my sister. We all eat dinner and I tell everyone about my day and Ricky tells me more about Mr. Aizawa our teacher also known as the Pro-Hero Eraser Head. I run upstairs to my bed and pass out.
