"If you're ready to talk about it, we can talk about it," Xavier stated as he exited from the bathroom, his hair still a little moist. He tossed his old clothing in the hamper and changed into a red shirt and dark grey sweatpants.

Since Rowan had left and he was by himself in the room, Xavier made the decision to take you to his dorm. He wanted to monitor you and make sure you were okay. With your knees tightly encircled in your arms, you were seated on his bed. After what had happened, you were still too stunned and disturbed.

He earlier offered you his grey shirt and some black boxer shorts before he had a shower. His boxer shorts were hidden underneath his shirt, which was too big for you. You were trembling despite wearing the large shirt, perhaps from the cold or from what occurred with Jason earlier.

Little did you two know that Wednesday was already in his room hunting for information about Rowan before you and Xavier entered. Together with Thing, she was currently hiding under Xavier's bed.

"Look, it's just shocking," Xavier told as he took a red hoodie from his cabinet and placed it beside you. "I just went for a jog and chatted with Ajax and Cindy. Later, we found that you were in trouble due to Jason and his crew. We tried to stop them, and now Jason has no arm and his leg is now wooden"

You whimpered a little and bent down, burying your face in your knees. The stuffed rabbit that was decapitated on Xavier's desk caught his attention as he sighed and sat down next to you. "I can help you fix Mr. Rabbit."

In order to prevent Xavier from seeing your red eyes filled with tears, you turned your head and made sure to look in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, you were forced to see the decapitated plush animal you had cherished since you were a child.

Before standing up and moving to your other side so he could see you, Xavier pressed his lips together. In an effort to calm you down, he covered your view of Mr. Rabbit while patting your head and brushing your newly-dried hair from an earlier shower. Because you were frightened that you could accidentally hurt him, you recoiled at his contact and backed up just a bit.

Upon witnessing you move back from him, Xavier frowned. Even though it hurt, he was aware that you were hurting more. He realized what had caused you to move, and he drew forward, carefully resting his hand on your shoulder. "Hey..." He softly called out, trying to make you look at him. "Come on, eyes on me."

Your eyes fluttered close before looking up to see him. Xavier smiled. "We'll fix him, don't you worry." He reassured. "C'mere."

"But..."

"You can't hurt me."

Xavier leaned on the headboard and pulled you towards him. You shifted your posture, sitting close to him, your head resting on his chest, your arms encircling his torso. Your tensed muscles made it apparent to Xavier that you weren't unwinding.

With his free hand, Xavier massaged your back while his other hand continued to stroke your hair in an effort to calm and relax you. "He's already torn apart and I still couldn't remember who gave him to me..." You mumbledΒ while feeling your anxiety subside when you could feel his fingers raking down your hair.

"Do you really wanna know who gave it to you?" Xavier asked, smiling down at you.

Your cheeks were smeared with dried tears as you turned to face him with big eyes full of curiosity and questions. "Do you know who?"

Xavier chuckled. "Of course, I do." He brought his hand to your face, rubbing his thumb on your cheek. "Because I gave it to you."

As you tried to digest the information you had just received from him, you continued to stare at him. You wore a horrified expression as your eyes widened. "Oh, my God..." You whispered as you glanced at the stuffed rabbit on his desk. "...and you saw Mr. Rabbit d-decapitated..."

Xavier shook his head when he saw fresh tears forming in your eyes. "No, no, no, don't cry. I told you we'll fix it."

"B-But I didn't take good care of himβ€”"

"Hey," Your face was cupped by Xavier, making you look in his direction. You felt small and little under his touch. "You were very caring towards Mr. Rabbit and you even avenged him from Jason. And I really appreciate that."

You melted in his touch. "You don't think it's weird that I'm emotionally attached and crying over a stuffed rabbit?"

Xavier grinned and pressed his lips to your forehead. "I think it's adorable." The two of you were staring at each other when he leaned back to look at you. He felt the need to say something. He wanted to get something off his chest. "I..."

Unexpectedly, there were knocks outside Xavier's room. You missed Xavier's irate sigh when you immediately focused on the door. While you put on his hoodie, Xavier got out of bed. When Xavier opened the door, Bianca was standing there with her hands raised and a large smile on her face.

Bianca looked in his room to see you were on his bed and wearing his clothes. Bianca's jaw clenched. On the other hand, you appeared scared and hurt. 'Do they still see each other after their break up?'

"You're not supposed to be up here." Xavier gently scolded Bianca.

Bianca furrowed her eyebrows. "Good to see you too."

"How'd you get past the Housemaster? Use your siren powers?"

"Now without this." To show and prove Xavier, Bianca pulled out her necklace. She rolled her eyes at you as her attention went to you. "And how did she pass the Housemaster?" She questioned as she looked at you.

"Because I snuck her in."

You frowned. 'I thought he said he talked to the Housemaster?'

"So she gets a pass and I don't?" Bianca asked in surprise.

You jumped out of the bed and tried to take your broken stuffed rabbit until Xavier stopped you. "Where are you going?"

"I'm leaving." You said as you played the end of the hoodie's sleeves. "It's that you and Bianca are gonna have some conversation and I don't wanna be a botherβ€”"

Bianca smiled. "Thank youβ€”"

"No, you stay here." Xavier gently scolded before looking at Bianca once more.

"But I need to go to Principal Weems to talk to her about..." You bit your lip as you stopped yourself from saying anything further. You found it difficult to even remember that you had injured Jason by mentioning that.

Bianca raised her eyebrows at Xavier. "Oh, I heard about that..." She said. "Poor Jason had to live with one arm missing and a wooden leg."

"Some people don't have any limbs and they're fine and thriving," Xavier remarked and looked at you. "You can go. Leave the rabbit here."

"But..."

"Leave the rabbit here." He repeated with a stern tone.

You walked over to the door with your shoulders slumped in defeat. Xavier patted your head and pulled up your hoodie before you could leave. "You take care."

After you left and were out of sight, Bianca slipped in into Xavier's room. Xavier sighed and leaned against his bed after he shut the door. "What do you want, Bianca?"

"To see how you're doing," Bianca said as she stood in front of Xavier. "I'm sorry about Rowan. I know you guys used to be close."

Xavier furrowed his eyebrows in disbelief. "Since when did you give a damn about Rowan?"

"Mm, you were the one afraid he'd do something to Wednesday." Bianca pointed out. "Isn't that why you've been following her like an eager-eyed puppy?"

Xavier scoffed. "I am not following her like an eager-eyed puppy." He pushed himself away from the bed to go to his table. "Besides, Rowan is gone. I'm sure Wednesday can handle herself."

The sketch he made after seeing you in the moonlight the other night caught Xavier's attention when he realized that his sketchbook had already been opened. As soon as he realized Bianca was following him, he shut the book close. "So what was (Y/n) doing here?" She asked out of curiosity.

Xavier shrugged. "Hanging out."

"Do you expect me to believe that after she pulled that shit in Jason?"

"Fine, I was looking after her," Xavier replied in an angrier tone. "Jesus, did you not see her Bianca? She was scared and traumatized. I should be there for her, walking her to Weems."

"Seriously, what do you see in her?" Bianca questioned. "You suddenly have a thing for gullible, happy-go-lucky, and naive girls?"

Xavier glared at her. "She's not gullible nor naive. She's smart as everyone else around here, even you. You guys just decided she's dumb because of all the weird shit she's doing." He corrected and defended. "And maybe it's because I've known her for a long time and she hasn't tried to manipulate me."

Bianca sighed. "I make one mistake, and you can't forgive me."

"Okay, why are you fixated on (Y/n)? Or even Wednesday?"

"Wednesday thinks she's better than everyone else!" Bianca exclaimed in frustration.

Xavier cocked an eyebrow. "And (Y/n)?"

Bianca shook her head. "It doesn't matter." She moved towards Xavier, standing next to him. "I can't wait to crush Ophelia Hall tomorrow and watch Wednesday's werewolf roommate crumble. It's gonna be a Poe Cup finale to remember."

"Yeah, I hate to think what you've got planned."

"My game's already started." Bianca smiled warmly. "I like to win. Is that so wrong?"

Xavier avoids Bianca's eyes while she stares at him. "And you wonder why I broke up with you."

"You used to love my killer instinct. I guess you're loving (Y/n)'s now."

"She did not kill anyone."

"She was close to killing Jason," Bianca told him. "My point is..." She grabbed his hand, holding it tight as she moved in front of him. "We were good together, Xavier."

Xavier looked down, still avoiding her eyes. "Were we?" He questioned. "Is that just how you wanted me to feel?"

Bianca gave him a look before letting go of his hand and leaning away. "Trust me, she's not the girl of your dreams."

"Who are you to decide the girl of my dreams?"

"I'm just saying that all your efforts are nothing to her. She doesn't even notice it." Bianca stepped closer to him. "But I notice even if you try to deny it."
