"Hey." Pope walked into the chateau, taken back by Kie and Skyler laying back on the pull out couch together, Skyler holding her wrist up to show off the bracelets on her wrist. He then looked at the bags. "What happened?"

"My mom snapped, and I got booted." Kie spoke, the two sitting up to look at him.

"Wait, what?" Pope gapped.

"It's not a big deal." she shrugged him off. "I'm just gonna stay here a couple days, hang out with my friends."

"Yeah, i've gotta keep her company while my mom does a deep dive on John B back home." Skyler nodded with a minor hum. "It's actually a common fact that teens need space from their parents, anyways."

"You know, if you need a place to stay, you can always come stay with me." Pope looked at Kie again, double taking to Skyler. "You too, you know."

"Thanks, Pope." she gave a minor snort at his awkwardness.

"Um..yeah, uh, how did things go with you?" Kie cleared her throat as she looked up at him.

Pope sat down. "Well, Pops was upset."

"Upset?" Kie gave an odd look. "After you left his truck in Charleston? What for?"

"Uh, you know, i'm actually trying to figure that out myself." he nodded in return. "I can't really see any reason that would make him upset. But, um, I did ask him about the key, and he said that his grandmother had something like that. So, I went over to great-grandma's place, and uh-"

He stood up, reaching into his pocket and yanking out a key. "-this."

"Woah, that's pretty." Sky leaned in more to look at it. "And vintage. Did you knew most antiques are over one hundred years old? Your great-grandma probably got it from her great-grandma, and so on, and so on."

"Oh my god." Kie took the key in her hand. "Holy shit, Pope!"

"I know, I know, right? I know!" he agreed.

"This is what we need to get the evidence!" Kie shouted, grabbing Skylers shoulders and giving a minor shake.

"I-I-I was right in the room, and it..it came out the ceiling!" Pope yelled in return.

"Like, it fell from heaven?" Skyler gapped.

"No, in the ceiling. Like some wizard shit!" Pope shook his head quickly. "What do you know about wizard shit?"

"The word wizard comes from the word 'wysard', meaning wise man." Skyler nodded before her eyes went wide. "WysARD, HaywARD. Oh my god!"

"Look at it." Pope continued on, taking the key back from Kie and showing a little scribbling along the side.

"Is that writing? What is that?" Kie squinted her eyes to try and see closer.

"Turn the lights off." Pope spoke quickly.

"Why?" Kie looked over.

"Just do it. Trust me." he nodded his head, Kie stood up and flipped the lights off. Pope grabbed one of the cushions, the trio swooshing together. "Right there. Don't move it."

Turning his flashlight on, Kie continued to hold the key. "Sky, hit the cushion."

Pulling her hand back, Skyler slapped the cushions as dust flew from it, causing the words to shine infront of them. "Holy shit."

"I know, right?" Pope grinned.

"Holy shit!" Kie added in. "How did you even figure that out?"

"It's so freaking cool!" Pope shouted in joy.

"So freaking cool!" Skyler added with a loud laugh.

"Wait, do it again." Kie spoke quickly, Sky hit the cushion as the words dusted onto the wall. "Path to the tomb begins in the island room. What does that mean?"

"So, i'm pretty sure that it has something to do with Denmark Tanny and an angel." Pope looked past Skyler to meet Kie's eye. "Cause I-I remember Lim..Limbrey saying something about an angel and how the key led to the cross."

"Pope, this is insane. You're a freaking genius!" Kie gapped his way.

"So, an angel and a cross." Skyler nodded her head. "That could mean so much. It could be a metaphor, a clue, a map, anything really! That's what we have to find out."

"Yeah." Kie turned to look at her. "Kind of makes me wonder what the island room is."

"Agree." Skyler nodded.

"Wait, you don't know?" Kie asked her with an odd look. "You're suppose to know everything."

"Pope, any help here?" Skyler looked at him hopefully.

"No clue either." he shook his head.

"Kie! Pope!" Skyler sprinting the next day as she ran toward the chateau. "JJ!"

"Oh shit, a dictionary on legs is running our way." the blonde spoke, looking up from his board.

"The chargers were dropped!" Skyler yelled, running their way with a wide grin. "My mom did it! She get em dropped!"

"What!" Kie called as she stood up, catching Skyler as she stopping running. "What's going on?"

"My mom was with John B all morning at the police station." the girl breathed heavy as she held her arms. "The chargers were dropped, he's out!"

"John B's out!" JJ called with wide eyes. "Are you joking?"

"No, she just called!" Sky smiled as she met Kie's eye. "She said he was leaving the station."

"Holy shit." Kie laughed, hugging her tightly as Skyler hugged her back. "How'd she do it?"

"Something to do with Rafe, she didn't completely tell me." the girl pulled back.

"We need to go get h-" Pope started, stopping as the horn of the Twinkie sounded, causing them all to turn and see it driving their way. "He's here!"

"Guess who's out the clink, boy!" John B yelled with a bright grin.

"Holy shit!" JJ slapped Skylers arm. "You freaking life saver!"

Skyler stood back, grinning as she watched the four hug. "My boys out of the can!"

"We missed you." Kie hugged him tightly.

"I missed you guys too." John B laughed slightly as they all pulled back.

"Skylers mom really got you out?" Pope grinned.

"Yeah, I walked in and the charges got dropped. I've gotta make a statement, she did it all." John B shook his head with a grin.

"That's phenomenal!" Kie smiled widely.

"So you're telling me I did all that work for nothing?" JJ hummed in disbelief.

"Oh, the most elaborate escape plan of all time?" Pope mocked him.

"Foolproof." Kie continued on.

"Yeah, it was, actually." JJ argued.

"You!" John B pointed a finger at Skyler when he noticed she'd been there.

"You!" she mocked him with the same point.

"You are my freaking hero, man!" John B walked her way. "Your mom is such a badass!"

"She knows what she's doing." the girl smiled in return, accepting the hug as John B lifted her with a swing around. "Getting a little nauseas here, my man!"

"Sorry, sorry." he sat her down with a grin. "Where's Sarah?"

"Still with Weez." Skyler shook her head. "She headed off to talk to her a little after you got locked up."

"She didn't come back?" he asked with frowned eyebrows.

"I got you." Kie spoke to Skyler, holding her hand out to help her into the boat. "You don't go on many boats?"

"I fell backwards off one when I was little and have avoided it as much as possible." she said in return, stepping in and sitting next to her.

"So, Sarah just dips and doesn't call?" John B walked over to join them. "Sky? Do you guys live close?"

"Not really." she shook her head. "I can go to her house though, i'm on better terms with the Cameron's then any of you are."

"Very true." JJ pointed out.

"She just left her bag. Didn't tell anybody." Pope looked over toward John B from behind his sunglasses.

"I-I-I really think Ward got to her." he stepped onto the boat. "I mean, the dude tried to have me killed in jail."

"What?" Kie gapped.

"Yeah. He sent somebody to the prison who yoked me up and almost killed me." John B shook his head, putting his hands around his neck to show.

"You serious?" Kie looked in disbelief.

"That is so fucked." Sky shook her head. "Did you yoke him back?"

"Skyler!" Pope scolded her.

"Do we know who this dude was?" JJ looked at him.

"No, I have no idea." John B shook his head. "Dude, I swear to god, one day i'm gonna kill that son of a bitch."

"It's okay." Kie shook her head.

"No, Kie, it's not okay. We gotta find Sarah." he huffed, sitting down. "Look, we're gonna run Sky over there and she's gonna-"

"No, literally, it's okay. She's right there." Kie pointed behind him, Topper driving the boat over with Sarah on the front.

"There's my girl!" Skyler cheered.

"What the hell is she doing with Topper?" Kie looked in disbelief.

Topper pulled up next to the boat, John B walking over to help Sarah. "Hi."

"Hey!" she laughed, hugging him tightly.

"Oh my god. I'm so glad you're okay." he hugged her tightly, Sky gave a grin at the two of them.

"I didn't know if i'd see you again." she spoke, holding onto him tightly. "What happened?"

"Skyler got her mom involved and she got them to stopped all the charges." he looked down at her with a shake of his head. "Yeah, no, yeah, I'm a free man."

Sarah laughed in joy, hugging him again. "That's amazing."

"I know. It's great, but..But listen, Sarah, they're coming after Rafe." John B broke the news to her gently.

"Good. He's completely unhinged." the blonde shook her head. "He jumped me last night."

"What?" Skyler gapped in disbelief.

"That's why I didn't come back." the Cameron girl looked down to the girls.

"Yeah, man. Rafe has lost his mind. Literally almost drowned his own sister." Topper spoke up from still being on his boat. "Thankfully, I got there..got there just in time."

"Yeah, he did." Sarah agreed.

"Less then two minutes." Skyler spoke up as the blonde looked her way. "On average, it takes two minutes for someone to go unconscious while drowning. Nice work, Top."

"Didn't know that one." he said, reaching across the boat to accept her fist bump.

"Uh, well, I guess I owe you one, Topper, don't I?" John B hummed in his direction, but it was clear it killed him to say it out loud.

"It's all good." Topper gave a minor laugh. "I mean, somebody had to rescue your girlfriend, right?"

"Uh, that's funny because she's not actually my girlfriend, right?" John B looked down to Sarah.

"Oh, god." Skyler mumbled, leaning her head on Kie's shoulder to hide her face from embarrassment.

"Uh, well, what is she then?" Topper laughed.

"Tell him." John B encouraged.

Sarah looked between the two with an awkward look. "I-I'm with him."

Topper gave a sudden laugh, Skyler shaking her head against Kie's shoulder as the Pogue brought her hand up to pat the side of her face. "Gotchu. You're with him. Okay, yeah. I just, like, needed a little clarity there. You guys clear on that?"

"I think it's clear you gotta go now." JJ hummed, scratching the side of his face.

"Yeah, think i'll head out. It's about that time." the blonde hummed in response.

"Topper. Thank you." Sarah walked over, hugging him.

"Oh, god." it was Kie's turn to drop her head on Sky's shoulder and shake it in embarrassment.

"Yeah, of course. I'm just glad you're okay." he hugged her back gently.
