I haven't entered graphic contests in such a long time, so I decided to go scavenging for interesting contest prompts! (By the way, don't be afraid to tag me for graphic contests! I love to explore various prompts and challenges.)

I've entered three contests recently, and it's been a lot of fun! I love challenging my editing abilities, and I also love seeing the creative ideas fellow designers come up with!

Even though I'm pretty proud of this cover, I had a lot of difficulty making this. I practically spent days searching for images that fit my vision for this. I also spent the majority of my time trying to perfect the lighting. 

In case it's not noticeable, there are slips of paper flying around the bottom of the cover. I'm really unhappy with how they turned out, but I couldn't fix it because Pixlr decided to break its tools when I needed them. Other than the slips of paper, the biggest thing I'd fix about this cover is the composition. 

Now, I'm not really proud of this one, but I'm also not entirely disappointed with how it turned out. I had a very, very, very specific vision for this, and the end result didn't exactly match, but I know exactly what I'd fix! I would definitely change the text, I would enhance the lighting contrast, and I would add a lot more darkness to the bottom of the cover in order to balance out the black colors. 

(Also, I'd like to add that (G)I-DLE's "HWAA" stage photos are pretty much perfect for graphics. I used Shuhua here.)

So, this is my new theme-

I was insanely excited to make this theme, since my profile's been needing a refreshment! I'm really proud of how everything here turned out, especially because it's typography-based. I also don't think I've ever made space-themed graphics!

(And I won't be able to use this theme until the contest results are released, so stay tuned I guess-)

I started out with mostly white, but then I inverted everything and I thought it looked a lot more interesting. I had an insane amount of fun making these, and I might even make a tutorial on how to do this typography! (Of course, once I get to the tutorials you guys have requested!)

Overall Thoughts

I didn't enter many contests, but I'm excited to continue doing so! (Again, please be sure to tag me for contests! I'm always interested.) 

Entering contests is plenty of fun, but I honestly enjoy hosting contests a lot more! I love coming up with prompts and organzing various concepts. I've recently announced that I might host a graphic war this summer, and I've been (oddly) very committed to making it happen! I have so many exciting ideas, and I can't wait to make some progress on it. (It may be a bit over-ambitious, but I'm going for it!)
