Faith.

"What'd you guys find out?"

Athena nervously looks at Dean, then glances at Sam. The middle Winchester clears his throat.

"I'm sorry."

Dean pulls his brows together. "Sorry about what?"

"Marshall Hall...died at 4:17." Athena adds, her eyes on her fidgeting hands.

"The exact time I was healed."

Sam nods, "Yeah..."

"So, Athena put together a list of everyone Roy has healed—six people over the past year."

Athena grabs the papers of research. "And I cross-checked them with the local obits." She holds them out to Dean, who grabs the papers.

"Everytime someone has healed, someone else died, and each time, the victim died of the same symptom Le Grange was healing at the time." Sam adds.

"Someone's healed of cancer, someone else dies of cancer?" Dean asks.

"Somehow, Le Grange is trading a life for another."

Dean sits down and rubs his forehead. "Wait, wait, wait—so...Marshall Hall died to save me?"

Athena's throat tightens and she looks at the floor.

"Dean...the guy probably would've died anyway and someone else would've been healed." Sam says.

"We'll, we know his name." Athena speaks. "His name is Marshall, not some guy..."

"You guys never should've brought me here." Dean stands up.

"No, this was all me, okay?" Sam speaks. "Athy had nothing to do with this."

Athena inhales a soft breath, making sure her voice doesn't shake while she speaks. "We were trying to save your life—"

"Marshall is dead now because of me!"

Athena flinches and she sinks in her seat. "I'm sorry." She quickly says.

Dean notices Athena start to shut down and he quietly sighs. "No, I shouldn't have yelled." He rubs his forehead.

"The thing I don't understand is, how is Roy doing it?" Sam asks. "How is he trading a life for a life?"

"He's not doing it." Athena wipes at her eyes. "I have a hypothesis."

Sam and Dean look at the timid girl.

"Whatcha got?"

"Uh...something else is going it for him." Athena scratches the side of her nose.

"What do you mean?"

Athena looks at her eldest brother. "You said you saw an old man onstage?"

Dean nods his head, his brows pulled together.

"I don't know for a fact. But then again..." she points at herself with her thumb. "I'm a genius."

"Athy, what are you talking about?" Sam asks.

"There's one thing that I know of that I can give and take life." Athena shifts her gaze between Sam and Dean.

"We're dealing with a reaper."

"So, Roy is using black magic to bind the Reaper?"

"If he is, he's riding the whirlwind." Sam speaks. "It's like putting a dog leash on a great white."

Dean stands up and leans against the Motel counter. "Okay, then we stop Roy."

"How?"

Dean looks at Sam, "You know how."

Athena pulls her brows together and looks up from the laptop. "What are you talking about? We can't kill Roy."

"The guy is playing God—deciding who lives and dies." Dean shrugs. "That's a monster in my book."

"He's a human being." Athena tilts her head. "We can't."

"We do that, we're no better than he is." Sam adds.

Athena's jaw goes slack, a thought enters her mind.

Has Dean killed a person before?

"Okay, so we can't kill Roy, we can't kill Death." Dean looks between his younger siblings. "Any bright ideas, Wonder duo?"

Athena lets out a small sigh, "Let's see..." she chews the inside of her cheek and moves her head side to side. "If Roy is using some kind of black spell on the Reaper, we got to figure out what it is and how to break it.

Dean slowly nods his head. "Guess we're going back to that creepy ass tipi."

"Swear."

Dean looks at Athena and he cracks a small smile. "So, what, I only get special treatment when I'm dying?"

Athena blinks, "Was that not obvious?"

"Roy Le Grange is a fraud. He's no healer."

Athena shifts her eyes to the flyer the man was holding out.

"Amen, brother."

"Keep up the good work."

"Hi!"

The man looks at the little girl waving at him. "Uh...hi...?"

"Athy, strangers..." Dean murmurs.

Athena slightly opens her mouth. "Danger—right."

Athena and Dean split off from Sam. "So...how did it feel to be dying?"

Dean looks at his sister. "What kind of question is that?"

"An Athena question." She shrugs.

Dean frowns and nods his head, "Point taken."

Dean looks at the ground and takes a moment to think about his words. "Uh...it was cold." He winces. "And I was in pain. It hurt to move."

Dean looks at Athena. "Thanks, by the way, for holding my hand and walking with me."

Athena shrugs her shoulders, "Isn't that what families for? Being there for you no matter what?"

Dean pulls his brows together and guilt floods his chest. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize that before."

Athena chews on her lower lip and shrugs. "There's always time to change."

A smile cracks onto Dean's lips. He ruffles Athena's hair. "Lets get into this cursed tipi."

The siblings enter the tent, and it was already crowded. Dean's phone rings.

"It's Sam." Dean answers. "What do you got?"

Athena looks around the tent and her eyes land on Roy.

"Roy Le Grange..." Athena pulls her brows together. "Roy The Barn?"

"We need a distraction." Dean says.

Athena turns to her brother. "Huh...?" She watches Dean walk toward the stage. "Wait up!"

Athena speed walks over to Dean. "What are you gonna do, choke him out?"

"I'm not gonna choke out a blind man." Dean seethes.

"Oh, but you wanted to kill him earlier." Athena cranes her neck forward.

"Layla. Layla Rourke. Come up here, child." Roy speaks.

Simultaneously, Athena and Dean look Le Grange. Athena looks at Layla stand up.

"Stop her." Athena says through her teeth.

"Why me?" Dean asks.

"Because you were making woogly eyes with her." Athena states.

Dean pulls his brows together, "You mean Googly Eyes?"

"Does it matter? Talk to her."

Layla walks past the siblings, but Dean quickly grabs her arm. "Layla, listen to me. You can't go up there."

"Why not? We've waited for months." Layla looks at him.

"You can't let Roy heal you." Dean says.

"I don't understand. Roy healed you, didn't he?" Layla raises her brows. "Why wouldn't I at least let him try?"

"Because if you do, something bad is gonna happen." Dean says. "I can't explain. I just need you to believe me. Please."

Layla looks between Roy's wife and her mom. She looks at Dean, "I'm sorry."

Layla walks over to Roy's wife. Athena pulls her brows together and frowns as the woman walks in stage.

"Wow...you suck."

Dean lets out a scoff, "Yeah, well, you could've done your head compulsion on her."

"I just calm them down." Athena corrects. "I don't compel people."

"Pray with me, friends." Roy starts.

Athena pulls her brows together as Roy puts his hand on Layla's head. She then raises her brows, realizing something.

"This is my chance..."

Dean looks at the girl, "Huh? What are you—"

"60 seconds."

A crease forms between Dean's brows. His eyes widen, noticing what she was saying.

"Athena no—"

"Too late."

Athena's inhales and snaps her fingers. Her eyes roll to the back of her head and she crumbles to the ground.

Dean's heart drops into his stomach and his mouth hangs open. "ATHENA!"

Dean falls to his knees and cups Athena's face. "Somebody help! She's not breathing!"

People gather around the area.

"Everyone give her some space!"

People immediately start exiting the tent. Dean looks at the stage and notices Roy walking off. He grabs his phone and dials Sam's number. Dean's eyes snap over to Athena, who's eyes were still closed. Tears form in Dean's eyes and his breathing quickens. He looks at his watch.

30 seconds left.

"Dean?"

"We did it. We stopped Roy." Dean says.

Suddenly Dean hears a scream through the phone.

"Dean, it didn't work! The Reaper's still coming!"

Dean's jaw tightens. "What the fuck are you talking about?" He growls.

"Dean I'm telling you it didn't work!" Sam shouts. "Roy must not be controlling this thing!"

"Then who the hell is?"

Dean's looks around the tent. His eyes land on the blonde in the corner. No way in Hell did Athena stop her heart for nothing. He stands up. "Sue Ann..."

Dean hangs up the phone and stalks over to the woman. He grabs her arm and turns her around. Sue Anne gasps.

Dean sees the croptic cross in Sue Anne's hand.

"Help! Help me!"

Sue Anne tucks the necklace into her shirt. The guards grab Dean and pull him towards the tent entrance.

"Wait, my sister!" Dean's eyes spot Athena still on her back, her eyes closed.

"She's not breathing—please!"

Dean's chest tightens and he feels like he can hardly breathe. His eyes shift to Sue Anne and she presses her lips together.

"Let him take her."

As soon as the guards released Dean, he sprints over to his littler sister. Dean falls to his knees and lightly touches her face. "Athy, wake the hell up! Come on!"

Dean presses his ear against her chest, not hearing her heartbeat. "Shit! Shit! Shit—fuck!"

Dean starts to give Athena CPR. "I'm never letting you watch YouTube again, ya hear me?!"

Athena's eyes fly open and she gasps awake. Dean lets out a large breath of relief and feels his entire body get lighter. He sits Athena up and wraps his arms around her. Dean touches the back of her head.

"Dude, what the hell?" Dean huffs.

"How..." Athena inhales a deep breath. "...Long was that?"

Dean's eyes widen. She was worried about that?

He pulls out of the hug and looks at her with an incredulous expression.

Athena blinks, "What?"

"You're worried about how long your heart stopped?" Dean asks.

Athena nods.

He lets out a breath, "2 minutes—"

"Holy Baloney!" Athena gasps. "That's longer than expected."

"Yeah—ya think?!"

Someone clears their throat. Dean and Athena look at the security guards. The youngest Winchester blinks.

"Jeez, man, what did you do?" Athena asks. "Why are the piglets always coming after us when I'm with you?"

"No, no, no—their security guards." Dean corrects.

"I'm a former cop." One of the guards says.

Athena squints her eyes at the guard.

"ACAB!" Athena slightly pulls her eyelid down and sticks her tongue out.

"Athy—"

The guards grab the siblings and drag them out of the tent.

"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIIIVE!!!" Athena screams.

"YES THEY WILL! DONT DO THAT 60 SECONDS SHIT AGAIN!" Dean shouts back.

Athena frowns and hangs her head low.

"I just don't understand." Sue Anne stands in front of the siblings. "After everything we've done for you, after Roy healed you."

"We're just very, very disappointed, Dean." Sue Anne sighs.

"Gross, you're not his parent." Athena squints her eyes. "But you are a liar."

"Settle, Athena..." Dean soothes.

"You can let them go." Sue Anne says. "I'm not gonna press charges."

"The Lord will deal with them as...he sees fit." Sue Anne squints her eyes.

She's threatening you and your brother.

"Your threatening us." Athena squints her eyes. "She's threatening us—"

"Yeah, I got that."

"If we catch you two around here again, we'll put the fear of God in you, understand?"

"No comment." Athena rolls her eyes.

"Yes, sir, Fear of God. Got it." Dean also rolls his eyes.

The guards shove the siblings. "Hey—be gentle! I just stopped my heart." She touches her chest. "Meanies."

"Layla—"

"Why would you do that, Dean?" Layla asks. "And if could've been my only chance." She huffs. "And...involving your little sister?"

"Oh, I actually came sip with the plan." Athena holds her hand up, a proud smile on her lips.

"He's not a healer, Layla." Dean speaks again.

Athena frowns and lowers her hand.

"He healed you." Layla retorts.

"I know it doesn't seem fair. And I wish I could explain. But Roy is not the answer. I'm sorry."

Tears form in Layla's eyes. "Goodbye, Dean." The blonde walks past Dean. She stops and turns to him. "I wish you luck. I really do."

Athena exhales a sharp breath. "I think I'm out of breath. Is it because I stopped my heart?"

"It's probably because you were screaming at the guards." Dean adds.

Athena raises her brows, "Oh...that actually really does explain it."

"If Roy would've picked Layla instead of me, she'd be healed right now."

"And someone else would be dead." Athena replies.

"Athena, if she's not healed tonight, she's gonna die in a couple months." Dean says.

"What's happening to her is horrible." Sam says. "But what are you gonna do—let somebody else die to save her?"

"You said it yourself, Dean—you can't play God." Sam states.

Dean clenches his jaw and gets out of the car. Athena's mouth hangs open.

"Is that how we end conversations? Leaving the car?" Athena lets out a scoff. "I thought we were adults?"

"Dean and I are adults." Sam turns to his sister. "You are 10."

"But I've lived the life of a 30-year-old." Athena sighs. "Sad, isn't it?"

Athena had some sarcasm in her voice, but there was a sadness to it and that made Sam's heart hurt.

"Anyway...conversation—ended." Athena gets out of the car and Sam follows suit.

They make their way over to Dean and walk over to the ten entrance. The siblings peak into the tent.

"Where's Sue Ann?" Dean inquires.

"The house."

They all walk over to the parking lot. "You two go find Sue Ann. I'll catch up."

"What are you..." Dean walks past the house and stands in front of the guards.

Sam and Athena hide behind the bushes. Dean sprints past them with the guards chasing after him.

"Operation: Sneak into the house and end Sue Ann."

"What? No! We're not killing her—"

"It was a joke, Sam." Athena scoffs. "You guys never understand my jokes and it's upsetting."

"I'm sorry about that." Sam chuckles softly.

"I'm gonna make a key where you guys can look up whether to laugh at my jokes or not." Athena says, her eyes brightening out of excitement. "I'm gonna make it laminated!"

"Yeah, lets do that. When we finish this case—remember?"

Athena blinks, her eyes then widen. "Oh! Right, okay." She lightly smacks her forehead. "Totally slipped my mind."

Sam pulls his brows together.

The two siblings walk up to the porch. They round the house and Athena's eyes squint at the doors on the floor. "Cellar." She points.

Sam follows her eyes and raises his brows. They make their way over to the cellar. Sam opens the doors and walks in with Athena behind him.

"Spooky..." Athena whispers, seeing the table. "Are those real bones?" She gags.

"Athy."

Athena looks at Sam and sees his shaken expression. She follows his eyes and her eyes land on the picture of their brother. Dean's face was crossed out with blood.

"I gave your brother life, and I can take it away."

Athena and Sam turn to Sue Ann.

Sam grabs the table and flips it over. Athena runs over to the cellar doors, but the slam in her face. Her throat tightens and she bangs in the doors. Athena pulls her brows together and her breathing quickens. "Sam, help me!" She manages to let out.

Sam runs over to the cellar doors and starts to open them for. "They won't budge!"

"Sam, Athena, can't you see? The lord chose me to reward the just as punish the wicked."

"The Lord doesn't use black magic, Sue Ann." Athena snaps.

"You brother is wicked!"

"Screw you!" Sam snaps.

"He deserves to die, just as Layla deserves to live."

Athena shakes her head, "No, don't do this—please! Open the door!" She whimpers.

Athena's skin starts to crawl and she tangles her hands in her hair. "I'm not getting out..."

Sam watches Athena stumble away from the doors. She places a hand against the wall and she places her other shaky hand on her chest.

"Athena—"

"He's not opening the door." Athena whimpers. "He won't open the door—Let me go!"

"Hey, Athena—what's going on?" Sam urgently walks over to his sister.

"I wanna go home!" Athena falls to the ground.

"We're gonna get out of here." Sam crouches next to her. He goes to touch her back, but stops.

Sam remembers what Dean told him when Athena started panicking like this. "Okay..." he lowers his hand. "...I'm gonna get us out of here."

Sam stands up and goes back to trying to pry the doors open. Athena shakes her head, "Victor, let me go, please..." she whimpers. "I wanna go home."

Ever five seconds, Sam would look over at Athena. Sam runs down the steps and yanks a large plank of wood from off the wall. He slams the pole through the small window. Sam tilts his head and squints his eyes. The middle Winchester turns to Athena and crouches next to her.

"Hey, Athy..."

Athena flinches and she starts to hit at her head.

"I need your help—"

"I can't help you—I can't get out." Athena's voice starts to shake again.

"No, I found a way out." Sam softly reassures her. "I need you to get through the window and open the cellar doors from the other side."

Athena shakes her head, "No, please—"

"Dean is dying, Athena." Sam quietly whispers, panic rising in him. "I'm sorry, for whatever your going through, right now. But we're gonna lose our brother."

Tears form in Sam's eyes and he falls to his knees. Athena opens her eyes and blinks. She pulls her brows together. Athena looks at Sam, "I...I don't know what happened." She shakes her head. "I'm sorry."

Sam stands up and holds his hands out to his sister. Athena grabs his hands. Sam searches Athena's eyes. "Are you okay?"

Athena sniffles and wipes her nose. "I'm good—I'm here."

"Where's the window?"

Athena follows after Sam. "We have to get to the tent."

"But Sue Ann isn't there." Sam says.

"I'm sure she wants to watch her husband 'succeed' in Layla's healing." Athena sees the tent come closer into her view. She spots the blonde woman and the girl exhales sharply.

"Told you so."

As soon as the siblings got close to Sue Ann, Sam grabs the Coptic cross from the blonde's hand. He slams the cross onto the ground, the glass shattering. Blood slowly leaves the glass.

"My God!" Sue Ann falls to her knees. "What have you done?!"

"He's not your God, Sue Ann." Athena states.

Sue Ann's expression drops when she sees the Reaper staring at her with a sinister grin. The blonde stands up and she quickly turns around, but the Reaper was in front of her. The Reaper places a hand on the side of Sue Ann's face.

Athena's eyes widen and her mouth slightly opens, watching Sue Ann fall to her knees while her face went pale. Sam pulls Athena towards him as Sue Ann collapses to the ground.

Athena keeps her eyes glued to Sue Ann's lifeless body. Her lips start to quiver.

"Lets go, Athena." He gently ushers her away from Sue Ann.

"We've gotta find Dean."
