First, let me explain Downytuft. He's not like the direction down. It's a type of feather that some birds have to keep them warm. [This reminds me of Dipperflight from Crows, lol.] It may look like this.

Now that's cleared up, time to explain ranks!

Kings>> Their the most powerful cats in the kingdom. There can only be two at time and are only toms. If one dies, an advisor will become king. If both die, the healers will ask the Kingdom of Sky for advice. Their suffixes are changed to -moon when they get their nine lives and can have a mate and kits.

Queens>> Their the second most powerful in the kingdom and there's only four at a time. They might be a king's mate, but not always. In order to qualify to be a queen, a she-cat must bear at least one litter of kits and be apart of the Council of Advisors. They're replaced when they die by an advisor and can have a mate and kits.

Princes/Princesses>> Highly respected in the  kingdom, they're the offspring of the Queens and Kings. The eldest tom shall automatically inherit the position as king until the challenge one of them to a duel. She-cats have special privileges and don't need to become Advisors befor

Council of Advisors/Advisors>> Advisors are the kings and queens most trusted cats. Their like deputies but with limited power, they only give advice and the kings choose if the want to use it. Their usually pretty smart and clever and are regular strikers or catchers when not needed. Only six advisors are allowed at a time. They may be asked to root out traitors if needed and also assign patrols. If they need more advisors, cats can choose to take the Tree Roots Challenge. If they pass, the head advisor gives them a new suffix -pool or anything water related like -creek or -river.

Healers>> Healers are like medicine cats to the kingdoms. They have a strong connection to Sky Kingdom and can't have a mate or kits. Their are only 2 at a time plus their apprentices. They have  strong herb knowledge and speak to the Sky Kingdom every full moon unless there's a emergency. Healer apprentices train longer than regular apprentices. They have varying suffixes.

Strikers>> Strikers are usually the broad-shouldered and muscular cats. They can be tom or she-cats and their main duty is to defend the camp. Their the ones that do border patrols and may train trainees. Their required to learn basic hunting skills. They may have a mate or kits and have varying suffixes.

Catchers>> Catchers are usually the lithe and swift cats. They can be tom or she-cats and their main duty is to provide fresh-kill for their kingdom. Their required to learn basic fighting skills and may train trainees. They may have mate or kits and have varying suffixes.

Trainees>> Trainees are young cats under thirteen moons still training. Their training under a Striker, Catcher or Healer. Their apprenticed at six moons and earn their -paw suffix. However, they can't have a mate or kits. Trainees must travel to Sky Cave before they become full Strikers and Catchers.

Care-takers>> Care-takers are she-cats expecting or nursing kits. Some she-cats choose to become permanent care-takers if they wish. Their usually very protected since they provide life for the kingdom. They have varying suffixes.

Kits>> Kits are cats under six moons that have no job yet. They have the -kit suffix. When their five moons, they take the Sapling Assignment. The Kings, Queens, Advisors, and Healers test them on their build, current abilities, and knowledge. After that, they'll talk and assign their rank. At six moons, their apprenticed to their respective rank.

Elders>> These are retired cats that can no long perform their job. Their treated with high respect in the kingdom.

Servants/Servitors >> These are cat that have committed a serious offense or crime. They clean the nest, fix the dens, and all the manual labor jobs. Cats can treat them however they like, as long their not severely injured. Their suffixes are often changed to "simple" names like, -pelt, -fur, tuft, or -tail. They must take orders from any cat and are forced to obey them. Refusing to follow orders will result in punishment.
