HOURS LATER, both Amelie and Carmen were piled into Carmens car, screaming "lost" by Frank Ocean on the top of their lungs. Why they had decided to drive to San Diego was beyond their comprehension.

They had been stuck in the car for over an hour - and while that may not seem like a long time, Amelie and Carmen in the same room for longer than forty minutes was never a good idea; even when they watch films or shows together they have to take a ten minute break or a fight would breakout.

After about a month of constant back to back emails and two covid tests later, Amelie was on her way to film a video with two youtubers Sam and Colby.

Yes, she has tweeted on her main account and not her fake spam account barely anyone knew about. And yes, she was quite aware that there was a chance it could have been seen, but No, she did not expect it. She especially didn't expect the DM she received which she then panicked and replied to.

She didn't regret it per se, she was just nervous about it. Amelie Flood knew she was a pussy - and to be honest, she was fine with it. She was fine in her little bubble, but now she was stepping out of it.

Carmen pulled into the hotel, making Amelie's eyes widen, "Wow," She mumbled, looking at the sheer size of it.

"Wow," Carmen repeated as she slowly drove into the parking lot. She had the side of her head on the steering wheel while looking out the other girl's window.

They drove slowly, just looking at the hotel until they heard a beep from behind them, making both girls sit up straight and for Carmen to speed off.

Once they parked, Amelie looked across at her friend before the two burst out laughing, "The terror on your face," she gasped, unbuckling her seatbelt, "It was the highlight of my day."

Carmen scoffed and turned off the engine, "Fuck off."

"Never." Amelie smiled, slipping out of the car.

After the car was locked Carmen made her way towards her friend and threw her arm around the girl's shoulder. Amelie looked at her with a wide grin, "Ready to go play being American."

"You read my mind." Carmen smiled at her as they began to walk.
