cycling broadsword - a sword with a golden handle forged from light and a blade made from celestial steel, the cycling sword is a sword that holds many abilities that depend solely on whether or not it is used beneath sunlight or moonlight.

i. barrier breaker - like all dimension travelers, hugo possesses the ability to break the barriers between they're currently in and another universe.

ii. all that glitters - driving their sword into the ground, hugo can pull minerals from the ground and use them to reflect the sun's rays upon their blade, making it take on a holy glow that gives it a temporary strength enchantment. it also works as a way to temporarily blind enemies.

iii. between dawn - as the sun rises and the moon lowers, hugo can hold their blade between the two, which gives the sword a heat enchantment that makes its blade hot to the touch.

iv. between dusk - when the moon rises and the sun lowers, hugo can hold their sword between the two, which gives the blade a frost enchantment.

v. apollo's comedy - with an incantation beneath the warmth of the sun, hugo can send their opponent(s) into hysterics that last for two minutes.

vi. artemis' tragedy - with an incantation beneath the cool air of the moon, hugo can send their opponent(s) into a deep sorrow that lasts for two minutes.

iii. astria blockers - machines made by void mercenaries to block out hugo's powers.

iv. unbalance - if hugo lets their emotions get the better of them, it can result in a misuse of their powers, which can lead to very great risks amidst a fight.

v. honor bound - sometimes, hugo's respect for the honor code can lead to a disadvantage in a fight.

vi. overload - if they use a powerful attack but still have some energy left, it can lead to an overload on hugo's senses. their body "fixes" this by having the extra power pushed out of their body via throwing up, crying, and "bleeding" from their ears. this can last for hours.
