valarie is a spitfire. she's the type of girl that wants to win at literally everything. so she has what one might call a very loud personality (and mouth), and she's totally unashamed of it. she's confident, spontaneous, and a little bit combative—but she has a big, big heart. she's a protector of sorts. nobody hurts her friends and gets away with it.
a realist, valarie doesn't tend to make wishes. the girl sets goals, ones she knows she will always accomplish when she sets her mind to it. she's smart, cool, determined, and analytical. it's how she's gotten so good at soccer—she uses strategy and practice to dominate on and off the field.
she's also a total party animal. though she's smart enough not to fail any impromptu drug tests, she partakes readily in the fun. sex,  drugs, and (winning) games, what could be better?

valarie is strong, smart, and bold. she's strategic, and likes to win at everything she does. she's really good at soccer, and at cooking (thanks, dad). granted, her competitiveness and abrasive personality can make her a bit of a sore loser and a slightly grating friend. when she's drunk and loses at cup pong, it's not pretty. she also tends to have trouble talking about her own feelings or problems. it makes her feel like she's whining or something, so she usually clams up her emotions. she rarely cries in front of others, but it doesn't make for a very stable sense of control over her feelings.

valarie grew up in a happy, happy household in spain for the first five years of her life. then, her mom got a big, fancy job, and they moved to america. she barely remembers spain now, and doesn't have an accent when she speaks english, though her spanish is perfect.
her mom's job was lucrative enough to purchase a fun and luxurious life for her family. her dad, being less of an office-job type, opened a wildly successful food truck. he's now in the process of building an actual restaurant to satisfy the people who queue around the block for his tacos.
valarie was blessed (cursed?) with siblings when she was six—fraternal twins, a boy and girl, nico and victoria.
she always knew she wanted to play sports. first, she started out with softball and was immensely bored with it. then, swimming—but she didn't like that it lacked competition and game qualities. finally, she tried soccer, and fell in love. now, she's on varsity as a junior playing defensive midfield and kicking ass.
