"𝑂𝑛𝑒 𝑗𝑜𝑏 𝑅𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑦, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 ℎ𝑎𝑑 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑗𝑜𝑏"

"𝐵𝑎𝑐𝑘 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑚𝑦 𝑡𝑜𝑤𝑛,
𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑦 𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒"

     After everyone got over the shock and excitement from their three friends coming to their school everyone started to sit back down for the read through. Juniper was about to pull up a chair next to Jett when the walkie-talkie she and Maddox got when they picked up their 'crew' badges started going off in her ear. Juniper nodded to herself as she listened before she nodded to Maddox who also got to memo.

     Juniper replied back to their fellow crew member as Maddox started relying the message, "Okay new deal, they need Gina on set pronto and all Featured Extras in wardrobe now! So everyone follow Juniper and I stat!"

     "Wait, I thought the extras weren't needed until next week," Ms. Jenn turned to Maddox while Juniper grabbed her's and her girlfriend's bags from the floor.

     "Yeah Quinn decided to add students in the background of the Darbus scene," Maddox replied still listening to the directions that was being given in their ear piece before running out of the room, "Yep it looks better visually and it means more screen time which is good for everyone, yeah that last bit was from me, Quinn isn't that nice. Bye Ms. Jenn," Juniper added before following Maddox's lead out the door.

     Juniper's friends followed the two out of the room but then Maddox got pulled to sign something and answer one of the other PAs questions while Juniper went to complement Kourtney on her outfit. Kourtney started to tell her where she got the shirt when Alexa, Juniper's assistant costume designer for the set, started talking in her ear how they are all ready in wardrobe for the extras. So with that the two girls continued to lead the group over to wardrobe.

     Maddox left the group to go over some last minute ideas with Quinn once they made it to the wardrobe trailer.

     "Alright everyone in, I have everything picked for you," Juniper directed then into the trailer as Alexa came next to her to help.

     Kourtney looked over confused, "Wait what do you mean you, I thought you were just like an assistant or something?"

     "Yeah I was, then the sets main costume director went on maternity leave and so I got bumped up once I talked with Quinn and showed her some of my ideas for you guys and plus me doing costumes for a musical that was in a documentary was a added plus to convince her in saying yes to me," Juniper explained as she and Alexa grabbed the extra's costume rack to put it in the front for everyone.

     Ricky whistled at this announcement, "Well alright miss Costume director of a big movie, I didn't even know designing clothes was a big thing for you."

     "Well it's not something I think I'll do as like my career for life but it's something I've always kinda done, you know for my school's and the camp's plays and I mean I kinda enjoy it. So, I thought I would stick with it for as long as I'm in high school. Anyways it's Kourtney thats the big fashionista and future designer here," Juniper shrugged her shoulders as she handed Ricky his costume.

     Ricky nodded at his friend's answer and muttered a small congrats as he made it way into one of the change tents. Juniper held a smile on her face as she handed out the rest of the costumes.

     After comforting Carlos after his failed attempt to talk to Seb, Juniper caught up to Maddox who was leading their friends into the set classroom.

"Come in Background," Maddox began as she waited for all her friends to come in the room, "Yes, this is a lifelike recreation of Ms. Darbus' classroom, and yes! Im geeking out to!"

Juniper nodded at his Maddox side, "I already took so many pictures and geeked out earlier, this is so cool!"

Maddox laughed at her girlfriend, grabbing her hand and giving it a squeeze in her excitement.

"Can we sit in any chair we want," Ricky asked the girls, one of the biggest grins they have seen on his face.

"No math nerd. This is a dictatorship, not a democracy," Maddox replied with a look as if Ricky should have known that.

Juniper let out a small laugh before she turned to Jett who decided to weigh in, "So, it's just like home?"

Juniper's eyes went wide at his words and gave him a look to shut up. Looking to Juniper Jett put his hands up in surrender. Juniper rolled her eyes at her best friend before looking back at her girlfriend to see her reaction.

Juniper saw Maddox staring at her brother with a annoyed glare before snapping at Ricky, "Richard sit!"

"Yes ma'am, or copy," Ricky stumbled trying to get to the seat quickly.

Maddox rolled her eyes at the boy, "Faster."

Juniper's eyebrows went up at Maddox before she whispered under her breath that, that was hot. But, Maddox had heard her and started to blush at her girlfriend's words looking over at her. Juniper gave her girlfriend a small innocent smile in response before looking back at their friends.

"Okay and Ash over here," Juniper decided to help out to get this along so they could be ready the second their director came to start.

Once everyone was in their seat Juniper turned to see Gina walk in and went over to fix some wrinkles in her skirt and to wave over to makeup people, that were on the side, to throw on some more powder on Gina. Juniper gave her friend a encouraging smile once she was done with her skirt only to get a timid one in response. Juniper frowned at her friends and gave her shoulder a squeeze. She nodded to the makeup girl to leave before turning back to Gina.

"You okay Gina?" Juniper asked in worry.

Gina looked at Juniper ready to say 'of course' but couldn't find it in her to lie to Juniper, "Uh not completely, I'm just really nervous, not to mention the fact that I just overheard Mack say that he's not sure if I'm good enough to even be here."

A glare settled on Juniper's face at Gina's words, "Oh that little shit! I have the power to make him look like an idiot the rest of the movie and I will do it with pleasure."

"As much as I would love to see that, please just give me some advice? I really need some right now," Gina sent her friend a pleading look.

Juniper nodded, "I will continue saying this till you fully believe it but Gina Porter you are one of the most talented people I have ever met in my whole life. If anyone is deserving of this crazy awesome opportunity, it's you Gina. You are gonna give this movie your all and you're gonna show all of these idiots how it's done. So go show them who Gina fucking Porter is!"

Gina chuckled at her words, nodding and saying thanks before turning to Quinn who went to address everyone in the room. Juniper left Gina's side with one last encouraging smile to follow Quinn and Maddox out the room to stand off to the side of the camera. Juniper turned around as the scene started to see Ricky and Gina whispering to each other over Kourtney's head. The Yun girl softly shook her head at her two friends wondering how no one else noticed they were together when they were so obvious about it.

The scene started and Juniper looked on with a smile, happy and excited for her friend getting her chance at stardom. She heard Quinn looking to Maddox to keep asking her questions and making comments about the scene but decided to ignore her in favor of watching the scene still in awe that she was on a movie set.

When Ricky first told her his plan she thought he was a genius and couldn't believe that with the right amount of persuading it could actually work. When she met Quinn for the first time after hearing the costume director had to leave when she signed up to help for the movie, she didn't think that Quinn would agree and put her as the new Costume Director because of course why would she pick Juniper, a teen still in school with barely any credits under her belt or experience in the movie industry when she could just hire another big name designer for the job. But Quinn was pleasantly surprised at Juniper's initiative to advocate for herself and decided to give her a shot, not to mention it would be a big help since it was to late to get someone new. So now Juniper was a Costume Director for this big movie and it still felt as if she was dreaming.

     Continuing to watch the scene with Maddox Juniper let out a small laugh at Quinn's comment about Alyson's monologue and spaced out herself getting bored since Gina wasn't speaking and turned to Maddox. Maddox looked to her girlfriend a bit scared not sure what to do with an angry Quinn but Juniper just shrugged and gave her a thumbs up, also not sure how to deal with Quinn. Juniper and Maddox looked away from each other at hearing Gina cry.

     Maddox started flipping through the script with Quinn and Juniper looking over her shoulder, sure this wasn't in the script, "Gina's going off script."

      "Hold on, hold on, hold on, this is really good," Quinn replied intrigued.

     Juniper was extremely proud of Gina, she was doing just as she said, showing these idiots how its done. Juniper rested her head on her girlfriend's shoulder while they both watched Gina kill it only for Richard to ruin it.

     "Wow," Ricky remarked, loudly to say the least, surprised with Gina's acting even with knowing how good she is already.

     Juniper pinched her nose in frustration as she heard Quinn yell 'Cut' and march off to deal with Ricky. Juniper looked up to see Ricky coming out of the room with Maddox on his heels after hearing he was cut out of the scene.

     "One job Ricky, you had one job," Juniper shook her head at her friend.

     "Oh shut it," Ricky rolled his eyes at Juniper not at all surprised at her rubbing it in, she was still mad about the concert, dead car incident.

     Juniper put a finger on his chest to poke him, "No you shut it!"

     "Both of you stop! Children I swear," Maddox shook her head at her girlfriend and friend's immaturity before continuing to escort Ricky off the set for the time being.

     The day was over, set wise, so Maddox and Juniper started walking to crafty to grab Jet before going home. Juniper looked over to Maddox before grabbing her hand with a smile.

     "You know, you were pretty amazing out there today," Juniper turned to walk backwards so she could face Maddox.

     Maddox gave her girlfriend a excited smile, "You really think so? Because it was so cool being a official PA for a big movie and ugh it was just so cool!"

     Juniper chuckled and nodded her head reassuring Maddox that she was telling the truth, "Yes, a hundred percent you did amazing. It looked like you were completely in her element and that confidence looks quite good on you."

     "Oh really, because I thought I heard that I was hot while ordering our friends around," Maddox smirked as she responded.

     Juniper's face broke out in a smile as she hummed in agreement before bringing Maddox into a kiss right in-front of crafty. Maddox giggled into the kiss as she pulled at Juniper's waist to bring her closer. While Maddox's hands went to her waist, Juniper's went up to Maddox's face as she rubbed her thumbs across her cheeks.

     It felt so good to be like this with Maddox. It was simple and easy to make this small switch of being best friends to being girlfriends. Both girls could admit that they've had feelings for one another for a while before the summer that they confessed it. Juniper maybe having them longer than Maddox and Maddox just needing a push from some of her friends to realize it. But, both of the girls couldn't be happier with how their summer turned out or this school year so far as now instead of being in two different states they were in the same town, same school and could spend as much time as they wanted with one another.

     Juniper pulled away from this kiss with a giggle as she rested her head on Maddox's for a second before speaking up, "As much as I would like to, I don't think we can stand in this hallway making out forever. Especially when I can feel my phone buzzing assuming its texts from an impatient Jett wondering where we are."

     Maddox chuckled with a small roll of her eyes at the mention or her brother before nodding and grabbing Juniper's hand and walking through the doors to crafty.

     As the girls grabbed Jett and walked out to Juniper's car she made the decision to sleep over at the apartment that Maddox's parents were currently renting for the two kids as they couldn't just up and leave their jobs back home. Juniper pulled into the driveway of the apartment complex, pulling out her phone to send a text to her mom saying she was sleeping over at Maddox's before quickly slipping her phone not bothering to see the dry reply that would come in response. The Yun girl hopped out of the car to throw her arm over her girlfriend's shoulder as they made it up the apartment with Jett following along behind.

anyways i do plan to write more this year and publish some of the hundreds of drafts i currently have so stay tuned, and considering this a late christmas/ happy new years gift :))  also why did i write over 2,000 words???? help
