Question of the day;

1. Is the story getting boring?

2. Are the characters seeming to be moralistic? Coz I'm not in for that...so please let me know...

11 | His Hell |

Urvi:

I stared at the suitcase on my bed which had all of my belongings. I agreed to it. And I have no idea why did I. It seemed nothing but an escape from this prison. The anxiety of leaving your house will tighten you up if you have any memories to cherish. The vague fog of my screams and their shouts echoed in my ears and the memories came back rushing like a flood.

Many things were yet to come and the worst part is that I am not even expecting anything. Whatever happens in future will be completely called for unexpected things.

I walked towards the shelf and picked up a bunch of books before placing them near the cardboard box on the floor. A huge smile came on my face as I found myself sitting amidst the subtle world of fiction and fantasies. These have been my greatest support when my own people pushed me away. My eyes fell upon the book whose title said 'Terms and Conditions' and my hands immediately went to pick it up. I caressed the precious one in my hand and tossed open a random page. I brought it closer to my nose, and..

Oh my god.

The smell is so intoxicating. The damp smell of rainy soil and chill breeze sent shivers down my spine. The kind of evening I always wanted. My eyes stayed at the cover and mind drifted towards the recent happenings in my life. My thoughts pondered upon the point that my life is truly revolving the way it did with Declan and Iris, provided Declan is lot more hotter. Or may be Ridhit...

"No! Shut up." I hit my forehead and shook my thoughts away. I slowly placed all the books in the box and sealed it with the tape. For make up, I had nothing but two shades of lipstick, a kajal and face creams. I quickly stuffed it in and zipped up my toiletry bag. I huffed tiredly, placing my hands on my waist and witnessing two suitcase, one cartoon box and a slim bag.

The challenge wasn't packing, but crossing the co existing members of this house and answering their questions.

"Urvi." A loud noise from downstairs reached my ears and my foot immediately followed it. I descended down to witness my mother and sister waiting for me.

My heartbeat accelerated at the realization that they might have come to know. There's nothing to be scared of. It's my decision and I'm going to stick by it. Their intense gazes shook my inner self but nevertheless managed to strengthen me.

"Yes?" I asked politely, walking towards them.

"There's car for you, waiting outside." My sister said and my gaze immediately traveled towards the main door where waited a driver.

I smiled slowly and walked towards him, "Namaste kaka." I joined my hands. He smiled while my gaze shifted to his side. I tilted myself a little expecting someone but my heart saddened on finding no one. I twitched my lips and looked back at kaka.

"Ridhit baba ne bheja hai." He said and I nodded, knowing the purpose.

{Ridhit sir has sent.}

"Aapke Ridhit baba khud nahi aaye?" I asked sarcastically for the reason that something twisted. That he should've come, at least ones.

{Your Ridhit sir dint come himself?]

He quickly lowered his gaze and nodded. "We aren't suppose to say anything bitiya."

"I'm aware. I'll get bags." I said and turned to move away but a voice stopped me.

"Bitiya, we'll get it." I frowned deeply, turning towards him again.

"How will you carry it kaka? It's heavy." I said in disbelief.

"He has strictly asked us not to let you do it. He has also sent people for it." My eyes softened and head tilted a little to witness two people behind me. I nodded softly and they went towards my room to pick my luggage. I turned towards the duo who were waiting for my answers from a quiet long time.

"You are still with Ridhit?" I looked at Ridha for her question.

"Of course. What did you expect?" I cross questioned, crossing my arms against my chest. I could feel something different in me. The courage, the strength to question back. A part of me always craved for it, but another part screamed the fact that they were my family members.

She chuckled and nodded, "You know that. Urvi, seriously. What are you even doing?" She turned serious and I continued looking at her, waiting for her to continue.

I asked, ones realizing she won't answer. "What am I doing?"

Mom and she exchanged look and looked back at me before signing deeply. "You hid about your job from us. About your relationship with ' The most eligible bachelor ' and then moving out so abruptly." She listed out and I inhaled a shaky breath.

"I hid because no one cared. And whatever is going on with my personal life is not anything I planned. It's happening and I'm, with a big heart, accepting it." Not a single word I uttered was false. I indeed hid from them because they dint care. I obviously dint plan whatever phase my personal life is in. And a huge part of my knows that whatever is happening, I'm accepting it because I want it.

Not because of his questions which shook both of our consciousness.

Not because of his gaze which holds into mine like it never wants to leave.

Not because of his words which came out rarely, but when it did, my system sent shivers abruptly.

Not because of his eyes that spoke a lot even when words were sealed.

Not because of him who now held a different power on me about which he's unaware of.

"LIE." My subconsciousness mocked me but my inner voice overpowered it.

"You're really doing it? We are your parents." Of course you are.

"I'll get exposure to the world." I answered, deciding to keep it short.

"But why Urvi." My nerves busted out.

"He is my boyfriend Ridha, and we are with each other. There's no answer to your what why and how. So just keep your questions and your arms to yourself." I threatened but my brain was stuck at the word 'boyfriend' which I just uttered. It's the first time when I'm mentioning him as my boyfriend.

Boyfriend.

It again felt different.

So much difference and the reason was only sole person.

Him.

"This is not the way you talk with your elder sister, Urvi." My mom warned. Of course.

"Madam." A voice of staff from stair called out.

Ridha turned towards the voice behind the call, "Yes?"

"Uh, Urvi ma'am." I saw her gace falling when he cleared the confusion, gaining my complete attention. Her jaws clenched and her eyes came on me, blazing with fire.

I rolled my eyes, completely ignoring her. "Yes?" I asked, walking towards the staircase.

"The luggage is loaded. You shall come now or..?" He trailed off and I understood his question.

I frowned at his question. "But you're sent only to pick me up, right."

"Ma'am, sir has asked us to make sure if you're comfortable in coming now or afterwards." His gaze lowered and my soul felt heavy. It felt, again, so different when somebody who keeps my choices on his list. I gulped down my sore throat and picked up phone from the table.

"I'm coming now." I answered the staff and he nodded before leaving the house. I glanced at my mom and sister for the last time and exited the house. I sat in the car and it as it started moving, I saw the reflection of the house from the rear view mirror.

As I was moving away, I realized a huge part of mine was in there. A part which they built. A part of me who was bounded by an imaginary chain that withheld me from doing anything. My childhood, my teen years but still my heart doesn't want me to turn and run into their arms. To cry out all my sorrow and make them feed me with their hands.

If you met my family, you'd understand.

My phone rang and I smiled wide.

"Avs." I sighed in utter happiness. The city was in front of me, chaotic and thunderous. And still this life is still better than the one I left behind.

"So you moved out?" She asked from the other side.

I sighed. "Hmm."

"You're still doubtful about the decision?" She asked I kept quiet, having no idea what to answer. "I know you aren't. What's wrong Urvs?"

My throat felt heavy as I gulped down a huge amount of saliva. "I'm feeling..guilty." I sighed.

"Of?"

"Using him." I spoke. "It's like needed an excuse to leave that place and his proposal just gave me that. I'm not feeling good about it."

She sighed tiredly and spoke. "Why do you think Ridhit asked you to move in?"

"He said he wanted me for his inheritance and to keep his step mom away." I spoke, recalling his words.

"Exactly. You both aren't holy saints. Both of you are using each other and there's nothing to feel bad about it, because this was the agreement all about." She said and I continued looking out of the window.

I asked after a long pause. "We messed it up right? This moving in thing?"

"You want me to answer honestly?" She asked and I nodded. "I'm glad you're out of your hell. Even if that means to mess up your agreement with Ridhit. Anyways office romance is my favorite trope." I rolled my eyes at her last statement.

"There's no romance here." I said, biting my inner cheeks.

"I'm shipping you both okay? You can't stop me with that." My eyes widened.

"Avs, what are you-?" I abruptly stopped, her sentence amused me.

"What? You have no idea how much I'm loving to witness your love life."

"There's no love life." I prompted. Something burned insanely on my cheeks.

"Just imagine, he's carrying you from your waist to his room. You're kissing like starved and then a few minutes later, two naked sweaty bodies under the warm sheets, warming each oth-"

"SHUT UP AVSSS." Oh my god. I pressed my palm against my cheek and forehead on the window. My eyes were shut and the worst part is that I was imagining everything.

I heard her laughter from the other side. "Hot right?"

Hell yes! I wanted to scream.

"Bye avs." I hung up the call with her laughter echoing from the other side. I breath heavily and chose to have my eyes stuck outside. I place my hand on my chest to calm my raging breath and heart beat. A message pinged on my cell and obviously.

From Avs,
I know you're still thinking bout it ;)
And I'll pray for it to happen soon. Have sun sweetie *evil grins*

To Avs,
You mind me sharing this fantasy of yours with Alex? I'm sure he'll leave no stones unturned to fulfill it.

No lies. Ava is his life and he can go to any extent to fulfill whatever she wishes. I repeat, whatever. That man has left no stone unturned to present whatever my bestie expects. A living example of 'her wish my command'.

From Ava,
Oh trust me, we've done way too much than this. ;)

To Avs,
Gross!!

From Avs,
*laughing emoji*

I giggled and kept my phone aside when car halted in front of a huge manor.

My heart raced insanely as the thought of him being inside and we spending most of our time as a real couple ran through me.

Don't make me regret it Ridhit

End:

Ridhit:

My head snapped in the direction of main door when a loud horn came across in.

She's here.

My heartbeat rose to the maximum. In a few moment, my entire life is going to be inside this manor. My father's wife. His new daughter. Him. Her. As much as it scared me, a part of me knew that keeping her beside me at every war will strengthen my sword and refill my guns.

I inhaled a deep breath and walked towards the main gate before opening it.

There she was.

I released a shaky breath at the sight. Her gaze came upto mine and everything halted for the moment. She'll enter in, here, as my girlfriend. Her gaze averted and she got busy in removing the luggage from trunk of the car. I stuffed my hand in my pocket and immediately passed a look to the staff who were coming behind her and they were immediately on duty.

"I'll do it." I heard her distinct whisper.

"Please ma'am." She stepped back and stood there, unknown to what should she do. I shook my head at the sight. Her gaze came to me again, but this time I swiftly forwarded my one hand in her direction. Her gaze followed my hand and came back to me. I nodded slowly and she took steps towards me.

Step 1 step 2 step 3

My heartbeat accelerated

Step 4 step 5 step 6

Her every step merely gave me the idea that she's entering into my life, even deeper than before.

Step 7 step 8 step 9

She tucked those loose strands of hair behind her ears and those earring shone in the deep sunlight. I flinched softly as the glares of the earrings hit my eyes. Shiver ran upto my spines when I blinked my eyes at the sight.

Step 10

She held my hand.

My hand

A strong sensation of current passed through our bodies but that did not allow us to break apart. I pulled her slowly slowly she was climbing those three steps to stand parallel to me. I looker down at her, while her head titled up towards me. I caressed my thumb on the back of her hand slowly before speaking, "Come." I stepped aside and she looked ahead.

I could feel her inhaling and exhaling deeply. She turned towards me and looked up, "Ridhit." She called out ever so softly.

I stepped forward towards her, "Hmm?"

"Is it...are we doing right?" No.

Abso-fucking-lutely not!

"Worst has happened. What else can happen?" I asked back and she fell silent before nodding.

Little did they know

"You're right." She exhaled. I pulled her towards me and we entered the manor. I looked at her while she was looking around from her spot.

She poked for a moment or so before calling out. "Ridhit?"

"Hmm?" I asked in a low voice.

"Did you not pay electricity bill?" Wait what? I looked at her weirdly.

"Pardon me?"

She turned towards me, "Did you not pay electricity bill? Why is it so?"

I passed her a look before saying, "You could've straight away asked for lights." I said sarcastically to which she shrugged and looked ahead. Before I could make any movement to switch on lights, they were automatically on. I frowned looking around to find..God!

The one among many problems of my life entered.

"Is that you Urvi?" Shanvi asked with a huge smile before standing ahead of us.

"Umm, I guess so." She answered, unsure. I glanced at her, who looked extremely uncomfortable suddenly. That's it.

"I think you should rest." I said to which she nodded, but made no move to walk.

"Sir." A housekeeper called out. "Where do we keep ma'ams' bags?"

Before I could answer, Shanvi spoke up, "Of course in Ridhit's room. They wouldn't want to stay in separate rooms after moving in together. Am I right?" She ended up asking us. My eyes widened and connected with Urvi's who looked equally shocked.

"Right." I answered at ones, unsure about Urvi's response. Nevertheless, we'd need to set some ground rules.

Again

"As if you followed the previous ones." My subconsciousness mocked me while I chose to ignore it.

"Come, I'll show you around." I skidded closer to her and pulled her closer by her waist. Her gaze came upto mine as we ascended up the stairs to reach my room. My hands slipped down as we neared the bedroom. The staff moved out keeping her things in.

We stood still just before entering the room. A shaky breath released from my mouth and I nodded after gathering bits and pieces of my courage.

"Let's go." She nodded and we entered. I heard her gasping out loud and I looked down at her.

She stepped ahead and bluntly walked towards the shelf on the opposite side of the side table. My room was spaced enough with king size bed behind which layed a huge set of glass windows and curtains in the shade of off white gray and black. The corners of bed ended with lamp that hung from the ceiling and side table with another set of table lamps. There existed a huge bookshelf of ten into four cabinets and only less than half was used, on the opposite side of the side table. Soft furry expanse were under our feet. The room was clean and that was my biggest achievement for the reason that it never bothered me to clean anything before she chose to enter.

I looked at her, gazing every book in awe. I stepped just behind her and locked my hands behind my back. "You like it?" She gasped at my sudden voice but nevertheless made no move to turn around.

"No questions in that." She muttered and I bit my lips to stop a small smile. "You read books, Ridhit?" She turned and asked me with that amused look.

"Business? Yes. Fiction. Uh umm-" I shrugged and she nodded before saying, "Pretty much evident." We were close.

So close that I could guess the cologne she uses.

My eyes dint move from her and hers dint dare to look up at mine.

"Urvi." I called out and she reluctantly looked up. "Make yourself as comfortable as possible." I said and stopped, waiting for her reaction. I continued getting none. "But you know about me. I need rules and this place is always bounded to it."

She let it in before speaking up, "And you know my blood consists of anything but rules." Her gaze stuck to mine and I made no efforts to avert it.

My heart longs to he close nut my subconsciousness mocks me against it. How much ever my soul rushes to drown in the depth of her secrets, her words, her eyes, my brain decides against it. But human hearts finds a way to reach out and connect.

Our story is different. Damsel and Dude in distress but neither of us are prince and princess or have a hope of living a peaceful happy life.

It's two years in working with her. My entire life is dependent on her. Formonix doesn't works if she's on a day off. Elite is incomplete without her. My cabin stays alive because she brings flower and sunlight to it. I'm dependent on her. Irrevocably, completely. Nobody would would think that Ridhit Merhotra  keeps a track of fishes sold in the canteen.

I'm changing around her

And changes aren't good for me

End:

Two different people. Two different stories. Several scars. Endless questions.

Answer?

Time.
