Alex:

I sighed seeing this ass friend of mine, tapping his foot on the carpet of my house. I bent forward and kept my chin on the fist before saying, "I assume the carpet in your house provides the same service as mine?"

He snapped his head up. "Oh my god! Alex Volkov you're so funny." He clapped his hands and faked a laugh.

"Will you spit? Why are you here? Disturbing my evening?" I snapped.

He gritted. "Yeah right. You can take a day off for your girlfriend but cannot spare a few hours to me?"

I looked at him, pissed. "Are you my girlfriend?"

"Shut up." He cringed, lacing back on the couch.

"Ridhit!" I gritted in annoyance.

"Roles are reversed." He chuckled and I face palmed. "I asked Urvi to move in." He said in one go.

"What the fuck?" I spit, almost immediately. "You said you weren't serious?"

He sighed and rubbed his palms all over his face. "It's not. God, it's all messed up."

"Yes it is. You did it." I pointed out.

"Alex, she..she wasn't safe there." His random words made me frown.

"Who's 'she' and 'there' here?"

He blinked in annoyance. "She is my mom and there is my office." He said sarcastically. "Obviously it's Urvi and her house."

"Oh." I leaned back. "There's something else too?"

"Hmm." He hummed, fidgeting the small ring in his finger. "I needed to get away from Amrita." He added silently.

"So you're using Urvi for that?" I asked, slowly.

"That's the wrong phrase to put in." He defended.

"Did you say her the reason?" I argued.

"Yes. She agreed." I stayed mum.

I leaned forward and sighed, throwing my head down. "You are getting yourself in a deep shit." His face clearly showed that he knew that he has messed up a little. "Do you regret asking her that?"

"That's the problem. I'm not regretting it. It's like, I want it." He threw his hand back, saying so. I stared at my bestfriend in front of me and shook my head in disbelief. "When are you going to overcome this problem of being in denial?"

He looked at me, unexpectedly. He said nothing and I chose not to prompt.

"How's she?" I asked, referring to the incident he narrated me. The concern he held for her worried me for him. I just hope he doesn't hurt himself and her in the process.

"Okay, I guess." He murmured before getting up.

"You're leaving?" I asked, seeing him walking towards the main door.

He turned towards me to pass that 'don't shit with me now' look. "Do you want me to sit here and listen to yours and Ava's moans?"

"You're gross." I cringed real bad. "You're right, get off." He chuckled and before he could move out, I called him out for a hug. "You'll get through it. Just go with the flow." I said slowly and he nodded before moving out. I glanced at the retreating figure and sighed before moving towards the kitchen.

The servant there immediately got alerted and asked if I wanted something. I dismissed him and he left without a single word.

I shot a quick glance and decided what to make. Picking up a pan, I lit the stove and added some butter and ghee. I quickly added some maida and tossed it slowly using the big spoon. Adding a cup of milk, it simmered in a high flame and boiled slowly.

"Mr. Volkov cooking, not bad ha." A smile unknowningly touched my lips.

I reduced the flame and turned to hold her hand and yanked her closer. She giggled and tip toed to glance at what was I making.

"Your pasta will burn Alex." She wriggled to come out of my hold, causing it to tighten automatically.

"I have better things to burn." I leaned closer, feeling her breath over my chin.

"Alex." She whispered.

"Hmm." I nudged her nose slightly with mine and moved my gaze from her lips to her pair of shining orbs, which were shut. A small smile touched my lips and I leaned back, against the counter of the kitchen. She slowly opened her eyes feeling nothing, to look up at mine. I raised my eyebrows, my lips stretching even more.

She scrutinized her gaze and stomped my foot to get away from me. I laughed out loud and caught hold of her waist.

"Alex." She giggled when I picked her up and made her sit on the counter, with a safe distance from the stove. I winked at her and got back to the stove, stirring the sauce slowly. Cheese blended with the sauce accompanied by oregano and herbs. Picking up a spoon and dipping it in the sauce, I blowed it to cool it down and touched to see if it really was. Satisfied with the temperature, I walked towards her for the taste.

She grinned at the sight and tasted it to give that one expression I'd die for. She gestured me a great thumbs up and encircled her legs around my hips to pull me closer. I placed my hands on the either sides of her and leaned in. She covered the negligible distance and pecked my lips ever so softly, leaving me baffled. I ran my lips across hers and my locks were under her fist.

"Hmm." She moaned as my teeth took her lower ones under a satire pressure. I picked her up with her legs around my waist and quickly turned off the stove before walking towards the staircase.

She pulled apart, despite of me trying not to. "Alex." She breath on my lips and control lead on its verge.

"You want to?" I asked in urgency, halting before the doorstep of our room.

"Yes." Her desperate voice came out. That was it, I slammed my lips on hers and entered the room, crashed on the bed.

Without a word, I gently cupped her face in my hands, my touch sending a shiver down her spine. Slowly, I leaned in, his breath mingling with hers, creating an intoxicating dance of shared desire.

Our lips met in a delicate and unhurried kiss. It was a symphony of longing and tenderness-a delicate exploration of each other's desires. Our mouths moved in perfect harmony, a silent conversation that spoke volumes of our growing affection.

Ava's fingers intertwined with mine, our hands clasping together, creating an unbreakable connection. She could feel the rapid beat of my heart against her chest, mirroring her own racing pulse. It was as if time had frozen, leaving only their intertwined souls in this sacred moment.

As the kiss deepened, our bodies gravitated closer, a magnetic force pulling them together. Ava's arms encircled my neck, drawing me in, our bodies fitting seamlessly against one another. The heat between them intensified, a delicious ache that ignited my senses.

We broke the kiss, our foreheads touching, breath mingling in shallow gasps.

"I love you Avs." I whispered breathlessly over her lips and thumbs caressed her cheeks. Her glossy eyes met mine. I smiled slowly as our hands worked on each other and duvet covered us. The room seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of us, entangled in a cocoon of fashion.

Our hands roamed gently over each other's bodies, cherishing the curves and contours that made us unique. Every touch, every caress, was a testament to our connection, a declaration of love that transcended words.

With a mixture of longing and reverence, we surrendered to the intimacy that enveloped us. Our bodies moved as one, a dance of ecstasy, exploring the depths of pleasure and intimacy that only we could unlock together.

In that sacred space, time ceased to exist, and the world outside faded into oblivion. All that mattered was the love we shared, the tenderness that enveloped us, and the undeniable bond that would forever intertwine our souls.

Urvi:

As my feet approached that building in which I lived, loud voices banged the walls of the place. My heart beat rose as I witnessed my father, pacing angrily across the room with bunch of files and phone between hid ear and shoulder.

"How the fuck did all the investors BACK OFF AT LAST MOMENT?" I flinched visibly, breath swallowing slowly. I stepped in, walking across the room towards the stairs.

"I DON'T CARE YOU HERE ME? Till ten am today all were ready. "DO YOU EVEN REALISE I'LL LOSE MY ENTIRE CAREER?" His one sided conversation reduced by pace towards my room. "Fuck fuck. GOD DAMMIT!." I sighed, before entering my room and locking the door.

I slumped down on my bed, thinking about everything that happened today. For some reason, there wasn't any single thing I was regretting. That certainty in me that I'd be better there did not let me experience any guilt.

But the question arises, where am I heading to. My parents don't want me. My bond with my sister isn't the same everybody wishes to have with theirs. And then comes my boss.

Ridhit

This mere name now had that capability of sending shiver down my spines. Everything about him suddenly came into notice. It isn't about looks. At this point, it's beyond that. It's when he crosses his fingers silently during every deal. It's when he knows about my routine more than my own blood did. It's about me knowing bit by bit about him when it was suppose to be his girl. It's about agreeing to this agreement of fake relationship and leaving no stones unturned to make it a real one.

It's when he's as my rescue when no one is even bothered about my breath. It's when he gasps slowly near my cheeks, muttering soft little words. It's when he calls me Luna and has no idea how that effects me.

He's doing all those what I read in my books. My mind slips to the events when he notices every single thing of mine without letting me notice about it. His gaze stuck at the laptop screen but hand managing to pass me the glass of water every time I cough. His one eye contact with me before making any decisions about the project I was involved in.

A loud thunder noise struck around the room. But this lightening held a different meaning in it. It felt as if my angels from above were happy about what happened today. The rain which poured down made me realize how much my soul trembles and quivers to get out of this hell and be myself.

To stop being winters to the people to left me alone to wither.

To accept the changes coming on my way and embracing it gracefully for my own good.

I stood up to march towards the glass door which opened to the balcony. The rain fell in torrents, creating a melancholic melody as it collided with the earth. In the midst of the storm, my desolate figure stood alone, consumed by a sea of emotions. My face turned up towards the heavens, allowing the raindrops to mix with her scent.

There was something different today. I wasn't crying under the open sky to my fate, but calmly stood there with my eyes shut, reminiscing the entire moment with him.

In that moment, the world seemed to mirror my inner turmoil. The thunder rumbled in the distance, echoing the tumultuous emotions that raged within me. Each raindrop that landed on my skin felt like a gentle touch, both comforting and cold, as if nature was trying to provide solace amidst my pain.

As the storm raged on, my pain intensified, threatening to engulf me completely. I clung to my memories, involuntarily, desperately trying to hold onto the fragments of a love that slipped through my fingers like sand.

My mind drifted back to memories shared, moments of laughter and whispered confessions, now etched in my heart. I imagined him standing there beside my, sharing in the transient beauty of the rain.

Lost in my reverie, I allowed myself to feel the weight of my emotions. I acknowledged the vulnerability of my longing, the depth of my connection to him. I found a bittersweet solace.

His nonchalant imprints on my forehead and his fingers gently caressing my arms warmed me up in this rain. My eyes slowly lashed open and this time my droplets did not mix up with rain. This time my eyes did not shine with tears, but with the shine of a new day. A new beginning.

And as I walked away, leaving behind the rain-soaked scene, I carried with me the bittersweet understanding that life would never be the same.

But I had the power to find solace and embrace a new chapter, even in the midst of the most profound sadness.
