Mask
• As the Red Raven, Summer Barton wears a red mask around her eyes.

Vibranium-Lined Suit
• The suit is red and black and is lined with a vibranium weave, to prevent just about any wound that could be inflicted upon Summer/the Red Raven. (The incredibly valuable vibranium-lined suit was a secret gift from Nick Fury to Summer Barton once he and Clint realized she intended to follow in Clint's footsteps. Given that vibranium is the rarest metal on Earth, the suit's true composition material was kept off the record. Summer herself doesn't even know how Fury was able to procure it. She didn't want to ask too many questions.)

E Q U I P M E N T

Recurve Bows
• Taking after her father, the Red Raven's personal weapon of choice is a specialized carbon fiber recurve bow which greatly accommodates her unique combat style (modeled after both Hawkeye and the Black Widow), allowing her to accurately shoot enemies from a considerable distance, or quickly and effectively fire at enemies during a close range fire fight or brawl while dodging gunfire and attacks from numerous enemies. To further aid in combat, the bow has a red laser sight to help the Red Raven quickly draw a line of sight when targeting enemies at close range. When pushed to hand-to-hand combat, the bow is durable enough to serve as an effective melee weapon.
• The bow is collapsible, with breaks above and below the handle, as well as midway down the length of each limb. This allows the bow to be folded into a more compact form that makes it easier to conceal, carry, store, and transport. When deployed, the bow can swiftly re-assemble in one quick motion as the limbs lock back into place.
• Four buttons running down the length of the bow's grip, in line with each of her fingertips, allow the Red Raven to request specialty arrows from her quiver without taking her mind off the battle. The Red Raven can also use these controls to remote trigger certain specialty arrows such as the explosive tip.
• Summer Barton has a design for new bows for herself and her father to use as the Red Raven and Hawkeye, respectively, that include infrared and sonic-sighting devices on them. They would also have the capability to transform into bo staffs to be used for melee combat. Summer just hasn't gotten around to actually trying to make her design a reality yet. . .

Specialized Quiver
• The Red Raven's specialized quiver is designed to organize and store her arrows as well as assemble and present them on demand. The quiver is typically worn on the Red Raven's back (by way of dual straps) allowing her easy access to her arrows. By carrying the arrows in two separate bundles, side by side, the quiver retains a flat, slim profile while being worn, which keeps it from hindering the Red Raven's movement. Each bundle contains sixteen arrows, making a total of thirty-two between the two halves.
• The quiver is composed of a light-weight, symmetrical outer frame that houses two separate bundles of arrows. The frame surrounds the arrow bundles at the top and bottom, with a narrow spine between, protecting the internal mechanisms while leaving the arrow shafts and arrowheads visible. The arrow shafts and arrowheads are stored separately. The arrowheads are stored in a cassette, at the base of the quiver. The Red Raven selects a particular payload via the remote control in her bow's grip and the quiver selects the appropriate arrowhead, and mates it to the shaft of an arrow. The arrow is then lifted up above the other arrows so that it can easily be found and drawn.
• Arrows may even be re-inserted into the quiver and fitted with a different arrowhead.

Wristbow
• The wristbow is a small wrist-mounted weapon, worn on Summer's left arm, that stores seven miniature arrows — three on either side and one in the center already drawn — ready for quick fire. Once fired, another arrow moves into the center via a rotating mechanism similar to Summer's quiver. The wristbow is similar to a crossbow, consisting of a horizontal prod and a locking mechanism to maintain the draw. A shot can then be taken via depressing the trigger, which fires the arrow at a draw force greater than a regular bow. It also has a flashlight attached to it to illuminate dark areas and help see her target.
* Conventional — The wristbow contains several miniature arrows stored around Summer's wrist for easy and rapid use.
* Grappling Hook — The wristbow also contains a grappling hook arrow to support Summer's weight and scale her upwards once attached to her body.

Blades
• The Red Raven often carries a blade with her, holstered on her lower left leg. The Red Raven possesses a dagger made by knife manufacturer Busse, and was made specifically for the Red Raven (as a gift from her mother Laura Barton/the former Agent 19), with an arrow and bullseye symbol designed on it. Her father, Clint Barton/Hawkeye has an identical blade (also a gift from Laura).
• The Red Raven also has four throwing knives strapped around her right thigh.

Arrow Case
• The Red Raven uses an arrow cartridge capable of holding nine collapsible arrows. She stores a case on the outside of each leg, which easily comes off and quickly expands the nine arrows.

Baton
• Summer Barton carries a collapsible metal baton inside her right sleeve.

Retractable Sword
• The sword displays a unique construction, similarly towards a modern sword appearance. However, the sword does not have a fuller or back bevel. The entire back section of the blade is nearly empty with the exception of a series of vertical bars, rendering it little more than its cutting edge. The blade also retracts into the hilt for efficient storage, not dissimilar to her collapsible recurve bow. The sword is incredibly sharp.

Anti-Gravity Artificial Wings Mechanism
• Summer uses collapsible artificial red wings she developed using anti-gravity technology, having made them capable for use without making any noise when she's in flight. The wings can be attached to or detached from the back of her suit and are so thin when collapsed it is almost as if they are not even there. (Summer created these wings in the barn on her family's homestead back in Iowa. She did this so as to have complete control over their development, therefore also having sole ownership of how they are used. She also decided to develop these wings to help compensate for not using a gun, having promised her parents she wouldn't — even though her father sometimes uses guns himself.)

A R R O W S

Conventional
• A standard arrow with hybrid aluminum/carbon arrow shafts, made to easily penetrate and injure an enemy while also being difficult to directly remove from a wound. Like any standard arrow, this arrow type is suitable for stealth operations because it makes minimal noise and is less conspicuous than the Red Raven's other, more specialized arrows.

Stun
• An arrow that is non-lethal and knocks an enemy unconscious or into a dazed or or semi-conscious state rather than injure or kill, much like conventional arrows.

Multi-Tip
• An arrow that contains two extended points on the tip of the arrow.

Smoke Screen
• An arrow that releases purple smoke to mask an area as a use for either distraction or for cover.

EMP Detonator
• An arrow that releases a burst of electromagnetic energy, disabling any electronics within its perimeter.

Explosive
• A number of arrows were made to serve as remote explosives that could be triggered via the remote in the Red Raven's bow. These arrows contain an explosive tip that can be detonated at any time after it's been fired, on impact. However, another explosive arrow featured three micro cables that could secure it to its intended target before detonating.

Data
• An arrow with an arrowhead that serves as a solid state computer drive containing specific computer code. In the hand of a skilled archer this arrow can be fired and jacked into a specific computer input from a distance, after which it uploads a set of code into the computer.

Burst Shot
• A special arrow that contains multiple secondary projectiles. After the arrow hits its target, a ring of secondary projectiles stored in the arrowhead fire in a circular pattern, hitting any nearby enemies. This arrow is useful for attacking groups of enemies.

Thermal (Incendiary)
• A special arrow that contains a chemical mixture which can melt through a variety of materials, including most metals, when activated, similar to a powerful thermite reaction.

Grapple Hook
• An arrow with three small, claw-like prongs that is made to function as a form of grappling hook. When fired, a high tension cable remains attached to the Red Raven's bow, as the arrowhead makes contact with a surface the three prongs become embedded and a series of micro-explosives remove portions of the arrow shaft from the cable at its core, allowing the cable to pivot from the arrowhead/grappling hook itself.

Tri-Blade
• Summer Barton has a design for an arrow that would contain three blades with razor sharp tips. She just hasn't gotten around to actually making her design a reality yet. . .

Ballistic
• Summer Barton has a design for an arrow that would have a high, arching trajectory, which would be initially powered and guided but would then fall under gravity on to its target. She just hasn't gotten around to actually making her design a reality yet. . .

Acid
• Summer Barton has a design for an arrow that would contain a vial of highly corrosive acid which would be released on impact. She just hasn't gotten around to actually making her design a reality yet. . .

Net
• Summer Barton has a design for an arrow that would contain a spring-loaded nylon mesh surrounded by an energy field which would be released and would entangle the target on impact. She just hasn't gotten around to actually making her design a reality yet. . .

Pulse
• An arrow that releases an energy wave at a 360 degree that can incapacitate or kill surrounding enemies.

Mind-Warping
• An arrow that is attached to a small device that delivers an electrical discharge capable of incapacitating a person.

Electrical
• An arrow similar to the Trap Arrow but upgraded to be able to fire the arrow at the target, releasing an electric discharge. An upgraded version of this arrow creates an electric force-field around the target, restraining them as they're shocked.

Trap
• Two arrows on opposite sides of the area, made to incapacitate anyone who passes between them by using an electric discharge.

Scatter
• An arrow made by several fragmenting arrows, allowing it to separate into other smaller arrows to attack an enemy multiple times.

Flare
• An arrow that produces a brilliant light without an explosion, used for either signaling, illumination, or defensive countermeasures.

Force Field
• An arrow that, when fired, releases multiple small discs at a 360 degree, which create an energy force-field inside the area the discs surround.

Rocket
• An arrow that contains a small solid-fueled missile head that is capable of a more powerful blast than an explosive arrow.

Putty
• An arrow that releases a polydimethylsiloxane substance on impact.

Suction Cup
• An arrow that contains micro-adhesors in place of the arrowhead, allowing it to stick to almost any surface.

Onto-Grabber
• An arrow that contains multiple cables with the tip that spring out on impact, latching onto anything in the trajectory, and pulling them towards the arrow.

Zip Line
• An arrow that, when fired, releases a cable on either side of the shaft, attaching to two surfaces on opposite ends.

Sonic Concussion
• An arrow that releases a three-beat concussive sonic blast on impact, capable of throwing back anyone at close range.

Messenger
• An arrow that has a compartment along the shaft that is used to store small notes.

Airbag
• An arrow that, on impact, deploys and inflates a large bag.

Freeze
• An arrow that has a solution inside the arrowhead that, upon breaking open, freezes much of the surrounding area from the point of detonation.

Electromagnetic
• An arrow that creates a magnetic field, attracting any metallic object by creating an electric net.

Luminous
• An arrow that emits a huge blinding light.

Tranquilizer
• An arrow that has multiple tranquilizer darts compressed into the shaft, that are released in a 360 degree, knocking out a target instantly.

Needle
• An arrow that has multiple metal rods sticking out of the shaft, that spins as it shoots the spikes in a 360 degree.

Drone
• An arrow that releases a jet powered drone with a cable which wraps around a target, and flys upwards.

Pepper Spray
• An arrow that releases a burst of an orange lachrymatory agent.
