10 years later, a guy from the bar that both her and Luna Brooks work at is murdered in Colorado Springs, while taking a vacation ― and the lead on the case is the demon she is running from, her own father. 

Not because he harmed her in anyway, it was just that she was getting threatened by a killer from his past ― and she wanted to protect him, but now ― she was thrown back into his world in the middle of a new murder case and this time, she wouldn't get away from her family as easily.
