martin is a laid back, seemingly quite calm young man. he makes chill music, which in turn makes everyone think he's pretty chill. and in many cases, he is. his popularity hasn't gotten to his head, but his weirdness sure has!
known sometimes as the weirdo of the music industry, martin is slightly infamous for his weird twitter page. most of his fans theorize that it's his place to write down his drunk or high thoughts, but who really knows? the press sure fixates on each tweet, making him nearly always a headline figure. one day they may think it's lyrics to a new song, one day they may think it's mental illness, one day they may think he's broken up with his latest girlfriend, it really just varies. either way, he has fun with it.
martin has had a few public relationships over the years, nothing too notable however. the first one didn't even count, it was kind of a never-confirmed thing and the media - mostly cosmopolitan and vox - went wild. he's kind of like a tiktok star, except he doesn't post much on tiktok. he has one though, go hit it up his @ is just vegas.

martin is a humble, fun-loving guy from harlem, new york, who the media loves to focus on. not only is he a huge momma's boy, but he's always polite in public and loves to laugh with and talk to people on the streets. maybe that's why everyone is so worried about his twitter.
he plays nice to nearly everyone he meets, and knows when to shut up or stop talking. he seems to deal with toxic people well, by just being quiet about it and ignoring them. he's not one for confrontation, he's too chill and laid back for that.

kaasar8675309 is a slightly different story. the robot behind martin's skin is incredibly intelligent, and nothing he does isn't on purpose. he, or they, are very calculative, and find studying humans and human nature to be one of their favourite hobbies. they're somewhat more laid back than most of the rest of their kind, in a sense, and believe many of the other kaasavids need to get their heads out of their artificial asses. tthey're always telling others to loosen their heads and roll with it.
in a sense, they wish they had emotions, or could at least experience them. they've always wondered about asking if it's possible to learn how humans feel and why humans feel, or even to just be implanted with something that would show them. this must be why they're so... odd, so unlike some of the other of their kind. maybe they wish they were more human than robot, sometimes.
they're judgemental, not so much critically but just judgemental. they think that the vanquisher needs to chill and be more laid back, while also wishing that the artificier needs to grease their joints and learn to fool around more.
they're the goof of the artificial soulless robots, essentially. it's odd. many accuse then of wanting to be human, almost. they deny it, but maybe deep down they try to act more like a human because they wish they could be one. maybe if they continue to like human things and act weird, they'll suddenly be enlightened someday? that's just what they kind of hope for. even despite thinking in code and being intelligent, there's that weird hope there.

whether human or robot, martin wants to be adored and liked by everybody. maybe that's why he seems so unproblematic.

+ social media. his twitter is absolutely chaotic and drunk, yes, but his instagram is the most aesthetic thing you'll ever find.
+ linking to that, he loves photography.

- swimming. he can't do it.
- teamwork, would prefer to work completely alone.
- beans. every human good is fine, but beans are just too disgusting looking. they will not eat beans under any circumstances.
- humans with an ego. you're still a human. don't hype yourself up too much.

𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐇𝐒
+ almost fully incapable of emotion, which means they'll always think in a calculator manner.
+ incredibly good at maintaining not only a positive image, but a steady stream of public interest.
+ good at faking certain emotional responses, such as: shock, laughter, happiness, confusion.

𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒
- they want to be what they're not, and it's easy to tell sometimes.
- they are very passive, whether robot or human they tend to just go with the flow, no matter if the flow is good or bad.
- hardly any friends, obviously because they lack the team-work and friendship mindset.
- more often than not, they're not taken seriously.
- not good at faking certain human emotions, such as: anger, irritability, crying. this is why you won't generally see martin in a negative mood.

𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃
martin's origin story is quite mainstream and basic. he grew up in harlem, new york, with a single mom and was found to be musically talented at a young age. he started making shitty music in freshman year and put that on sound cloud for absolutely nobody to listen to. it went like that for a about four years. although he did gain a few thousand followers over those years, he still remained incredibly irrelevant.
his claim to fame was a mixture of people ddiscovering his scary twitter page and blowing up on tiktok, when finally one of his songs became really popular. he thought it was actually one of the worse ones, but whatever. it was catchy enough to get popular, he supposed, and his spotify blew up. all of the bot accounts spamming him and telling him to join the competition were actually his own doing, but then at least he can say that his many loyal fans were the reason he did join.

or, that's what the press knows. created on kaasar, the robot had nearly always been a loner. they'd never been interested in teamwork or working alongside others, they couldn't ever handle the egos of anyone else. they all had the same coding, so why act like you're better?
sure, they don't have many emotions but they do weirdly love human pop-culture, which many of the others may have considered very weird. it's not their fault that it just always had a special place in their metal, non-existent heart.
they became an instant joke and meme when they bribed, with actual currency, the artificier to put wheels on their heels. for a group of robots incapable of emotions, there sure was a good laugh over the matter. they never cared though, they just roll with it. literally. they roll into rooms like they're heelys, for gods sake.

humans are predictable, emotional, and frankly, dumb. but they're fun. in one sense, they wish they were a human. they'd just want to experience being a real human for once.
they love the fact that humans are easy to please, which is why they're such a huge social media star and they're always in the headlines. whether they're dating somebody and making out in the middle of the streets (they love to read the headlines and fan accounts' angry postings) or posting the weirdest, drunkest tweets on their joke twitter page, they do appreciate the simplicity that humans are. they're satisfied and entertained so easily, and the attention is always a bonus.
they know humans down almost to a formula-type accuracy, which must be why they've grown so, so very popular amongst them.

once again, pop culture is a big yes. it's always intrigued them, and they're actually kind of a fan of many bands and singers.
they enjoy just about any genre of music, as music is one of the only things that gives them real feelings. well, they think they're feelings? they aren't sure, they have very limited capability of having feelings, but music does hit differently in a way. maybe the beats mess with their computer frequencies or something.

𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
they don't really care about winning or ruling the universe all that much, to be quite honest. they're just here for the spite and the bragging rights, because if they win, it would be legendary. they're convinced that they'd win every conversation ever, automatically, after winning the competition.
