COLIN BRIDGERTON, 4th son to the deceased Viscount Bridgerton and the Dowager Bridgerton. Florence had always been a close friend to the boy, since he was 12 and she 14. They both shared a want and need to travel the globe to foreign places, but society said no.

A boy, much less a Bridgerton, who came from such a well-known and loved family, couldn't dare speak to the Edwards girl, even if her status was higher then his. The innocent boy could never be with the dirty girl. Being the daughter of a Marquess didn't help either.
