The Bounty approached Ninjago City.

''Wow. Ha. Will ya look at that?'' Jay said, looking at the city.

Nya stood at the steering wheel, back turned to him. ''Yeah, pretty creepy, huh?'' She turned to Jay. 

''Yeah,'' Jay replied. ''But also kind of beautiful in a weird way, isn't it?'' 

''What are you talking about?'' Nya asked. ''No, it's just creepy.'' 

''Oh, I just meant the colours in the clouds... or not.'' He scratched his head, looking down. ''Never mind.'' 

Grasping it in his hand, he gulped and walked over to where Nya could see him easily. ''It's times like this you realize what's really important in life.'' He said with a smile.

''I guess,'' Nya replied with a smile, looking at him before turning her gaze to Ninjago City.

''So, ahem, er, Nya...?'' She turned to him. ''I've been wanting to ask you something for a long while. Ha.'' 

''Okay.'' She said.

Jay cleared his throat. Nya mistook it as him getting a cough.

''Are you okay?'' Nya asked.

''Yeah. Ahem. Yeah.'' He bent down on one knee.

Garmadon appeared, growling and scaring Jay.

''Dangit.'' (Y/n) mumbled, behind Garmadon. ''It was so close...'' 

Nya turned to Garmadon. ''What do you want?'' She asked.

Garmadon smiled. ''Absolutely nothing.'' He then walked away.

''That guy gives me the creeps!'' Nya said. She sighed. ''What were you going to say?''

Jay got up from the floor. ''Uh... It can wait.'' 

(Y/n) shook her head.

Laying down for a nap, (Y/n) closed her eyes.

The bed was soft, and she pulled the blanket over herself.

Suddenly, the ground fell out from beneath her, and all she could see was darkness. She was falling, with nothing to hold onto.

She opened her eyes and found herself still on the Bounty. She then took deep breaths, thinking about what she just saw. 

''At least it was just a bad dream.'' She sighed, getting out of bed. ''So much for a nap...'' 

(Y/n) headed to the deck, watching as dark tendrils snaked after the Bounty. One then curled around the tower, and she watched it.

''Creepy, isn't it?'' Cole asked her. 

She nodded. ''Yeah, it is.'' 

Looking over at the others and seeing Zane place a strapped camera on Lloyd, the two walked over. 

''This will allow us to see what's happening inside the cloud,'' Zane said, a worried look on his face. 

''You sure you want to do this, Lloyd?'' Kai asked.

''I'll be fine. Don't worry.'' Lloyd reassured them. 

''That assumption is unfounded,'' Garmadon spoke. ''You are mostly human. That side of you is weak.'' 

''It's also stubborn,'' Lloyd glanced at (Y/n). ''Let's go. Give him a sword, Cole.'' He ordered the Earth Ninja.

Cole grabbed the sword that was wedged in between two wooden planks, hesitant. He looked at the sword in his grasp, then at Lloyd. ''Uh... Are you sure about that?'' He asked.

Lloyd nodded.

Cole looked down at the sword, before tossing it to Garmadon. 

The Captain of Chaos looked down at the sword, and the Earth Ninja turned his back.

(Y/n) watched, knowing what would happen.

''Hyah!'' Garmadon said, leaping into the air with the sword in hand.

''Look out!'' Kai shouted, pulling out his sword. Cole screamed as Garmadon landed, and he pulled out his hammer, trading blows with the Lord of Darkness.

Using his sword, Garmadon pushed Cole to the side. Jay came at him with his nunchucks, before he was thrown on top of Cole by Garmadon.

Lloyd summoned his green powers, using Spinjitzu and going at Garmadon. 

Garmadon jumped over Lloyd, landing on Zane and attacking P.I.X.A.L. Nya jumped down, using her spear while Garmadon used the sword to block her attack. He then threw her off, and Zane fired his bow. The Captain of Chaos once again used his sword to deflect the arrow, blocking Nya then kicking her into Kai. He then picked up P.I.X.A.L and threw her at the others.

Cole looked at the Lord of Darkness. ''Try that again... Now that I'm ready!'' 

Garmadon looked at Cole before his fist burst into a purple flame. Bringing it up to his face, he looked at it. He sighed. ''That's better!'' He then turned and jumped off the Bounty.

''Okay. what the heck was that?'' Cole asked.

''Conflict fuels him...'' Lloyd said.

''He was powering up,'' Zane replied.

''He did that just to get his powers back?'' Jay asked.

''I do not trust him,'' Cole said, stomping towards the others slowly.

''Neither do I...'' (Y/n) mumbled.

''Lloyd, are you sure you want to go through with this?'' Nya asked him.

Looking around at their faces, keeping his gaze longest on (Y/n), who nodded. He sighed. ''No... but I don't really have a choice.'' 

Lloyd grabbed the parachute and dove off the Bounty.

''How many times has he jumped off the Bounty?'' (Y/n) asked.

''Lloyd!'' Nya said quietly.

The group watched as he fell closer to the cloud of darkness. Seeing him disappear, (Y/n) bit her lip.

''The camera-feed! Come on!'' Zane said, and they ran to watch it.

Looking at the screen, they watched as the camera showed them what Lloyd was seeing.

''He opened his parachute,'' Zane informed them. 

Lloyd looked to the left, and they saw a tendril snaking around a building. 

''What are those?'' Nya asked. 

''They look like... tentacles...'' Kai answered.

''Oh-kay, don't mind me here, just seeing the same things that you are... from my nightmares, of course.'' (Y/n) mumbled.

Cole placed a hand on her shoulder, watching it.

Lloyd choked and gasped, the ninja on the other side watching as the camera showed Garmadon in the dark with his powers.

''Oh, no!'' Nya said. 

''We have to get him out of there!'' Said Cole, looking at the others.

''Wait,'' Zane spoke, watching. Lloyd got up and walked towards Garmadon. 

Nya sighed in relief. ''He's okay!'' 

Everyone else sighed.

The Ninja watched as the screen showed a petrified Borg. 

''Oh, Pix...'' Nya said. P.I.X.A.L gasped. ''It's your father!'' 

''If anyone can hear me...'' Zane turned to the screen showing a map of Ninjago City. 

''Come in. We hear you.'' He said. 

''Vinny Folson of NGTV news.'' 

''Come in!'' 

''Signing off.'' 

''What was that?'' Kai asked.

''I believe it was a distress call,'' Zane answered. ''But we have lost the audio.'' 

''Can you trace the signal?'' Cole asked.

''I will attempt to triangulate the source,'' Zane replied, his arms a blur as he pressed buttons. A red dot came up on the screen, locating the signal. ''There. Several miles east of us.'' He said, turning to the others. ''It appears to be a television station in the outskirts of Ninjago City.'' 

Cole leaned on Kai's shoulder. ''Maybe some people who didn't evacuate in time.'' 

''We gotta help them!'' Kai said, pointing at the screen.

''What about Lloyd?'' Jay asked. ''We can't just abandon him.''

''If someone's in trouble, Lloyd would be the first person to tell us to help,'' Nya told Zane. 

''That may be. But Lloyd is incorrect.'' Zane replied. ''There is literally nothing more imperative than the success of his mission.'' He told them. ''If he fails, all of Ninjago is lost.'' He shook his head, worried.

''Perhaps... perhaps there is a way to be in more places than one,'' P.I.X.A.L spoke. She walked over to the lever. ''I can remain behind in the Samurai X mech while you take the Bounty and investigate the distress call.'' 

''What if you run out of fuel?'' Nya asked. 

''That would not be good,'' P.I.X.A.L replied. ''Let us hope you are back before that happens.'' 

''We will be back,'' Zane promised, holding her hands before she turned and walked away. 

Summoning her mech, she looked back at them with a smile. She hopped in and flew off the Bounty.

''Always knew we could count on you, P.I.X.A.L.'' (Y/n) said with a smile, looking up at her.

Zane watched her from the rail.

''She'll be okay,'' Nya reassured the Master of Ice. 

The Bounty turned and headed towards the NGTV News station.

''There it is! Destroy it! Quick!'' Jay said, shaking Zane as the others saw the Realm Crystal.

''He cannot hear you,'' Zane replied.

Something rose from the dark fog after Garmadon attempted to shatter the Realm Crystal. 

There, an Oni, with long, twisted horns and a staff.

''What is that?'' Lloyd asked.

(Y/n) fell down to her knees.

Across a barren landscape, was an army of Oni.

At the front, stood one with the long, twisted horns. 

A young Oni stood at the back, watching him.

''We will find him easily if we split up.'' The leader snarled.

''Omega, we will search Eastern Ninjago.'' Said one with red eyes.

''If any of you find him, bring him back to me, alive.'' He ordered.

The Oni then disappeared in a cloud of darkness.

''He is... Omega...'' (Y/n) muttered.

Ohhh you're gonna hate me next chapter XD
