Jungkook slowly opened the door. His suspicion became true. He saw what he didn't want to see.

Jin's Disgusted Face. He had a bowl of rice in his hands and looked like he ate a spoonful.

Jin: Yaayy Jungkook!! Who made this poison?!!

Jungkook: You don't need to know who made this. Put it down

Jin: It was Y/N, wasn't it?

Jungkook:If you're hungry, just order something

Jin: This cooking is a disrespect to food!

**Meanwhile**
Y/N turned around. Someone was standing there. Someone had heard it all. Who was it?

Irene: Y/N, You're an Agent?

Y/N: You didn't hear anything.

Irene: Like those people in movies? Wearing tight black clothes?

Y/N: Tight black clothes is a misconception

Irene: So, you really are?

Y/N: I said you didn't hear anything

Irene: But I did hear something. Have you been an agent all along?

Y/N: Hm

Irene: Why didn't you ever tell me?

Y/N: I would have told you, but then I'd have to kill you

Irene: Kill? Gang? Agent? Robbery? Mission? What's going on?

Y/N walked upto her and held her shoulder.

Y/N: You're not supposed to know these things. I'm an undercover agent and this gang is my enemy. That's all. But since you know all, I'll have to kill you. And if you don't die, you'll get me killed.

Irene: Don't worry (smiles). If killing me would assure your well being then go ahead

Y/N: You're really something

Irene: Maybe all this time you didn't think me as your friend but I did. And I still do. Probably you're dealing with something very dangerous and important

Y/N: But, I can't kill you right now. The guys and everyone thinks you're my bestfriend.

Irene: Which I really am

Y/N: You're also important for this project

Irene: Then I promise you that I'll live the rest of my days, thinking that you're that same goofy bestfriend of mine

Y/N: If that keeps you shut then go ahead

Irene smiled. Y/N hated this. Y/N had told her that she can kill her yet she continued to be her own self. Her kind self.

Y/N: We'll go downstairs and you'll agree to talking to your dad

Irene: What am I supposed to say?

Y/N: Typical kidnapping thing. Tell your dad to bring 50000 korean won or else we'll kill you

Irene: That's all? Okay then

Y/N: We'll be stealing more than that. But for now do as you're told

Irene: Alright

Y/N: And don't smile too much

Irene: Why?

Y/N: Because it's pretty and I don't want any of the guys to fall for you

Irene: Ohh (laughs) It's because they are dangerous? That I can be in danger? Worried?

They went downstairs. Hoseok was still watching television and Suga still looked upset. He looked at the stairs when he heard the two girls coming down.

Y/N: She agreed

Irene: Yeah I did..on which part?

Y/N: The call. Do we have any other part?

Irene: Silly me

Suga: Your friend is dumber than you

Irene: I know I'm stupid but Y/N isn't. Please try to be humble with her, after all she's a girl

Irene:  Umm..I think your name is.... Salt?

Hoseok: Nice one!!! (laughs) He is Suga

Irene: Oh..I apologise. I knew it was something related to food so I said Salt

Jin: Did anyone say salt? Y/N, we need to talk.

Y/N: What is it?

Jin: Did you add 4 cups of salt in rice?

Y/N: ....................... Isn't it supposed to be that way?

Jin: If you don't know how to cook then don't do at all

Hoseok: Ohh you cooked for our Boss?? Yoohhhohohoho!!

Suga: Didn't your bestfriend tell you?

Y/N: But you said it reminded of your mom's cooking?

Jungkook looked at Jin who settled down after recovering from Y/N's cooked rice.

Jin: How much longer wil you take to decide when to get Jimin out?

Jungkook: Wait a little more

Y/N: Where is this Jimin by the way?

Hoseok: Under KIA's custody

Y/N: KIA? What's that?

Hoseok: Our country's intelligence agency. They're no less than criminals

Y/N: How did he get caught?

Seokjin: I'm pretty sure it's Agent 007 doing

Y/N: Who is that?

Jin: An agent who had stopped multiple number of our projects and robberies

Y/N: She has not been active lately, right?

Just as Jungkook said this, Y/N looked at him. A scary eye contact. Y/N lookee away at Irene who seemed like she knew what was going on

Y/N: Have you ever seen her?

Hoseok: Nope.  Whenever she appears, she wears a mask

Suga: In confident that we'll find her identity soon

Jungkook: Once we're done with the current projects, Jimin will come out

Y/N: So, you're not bringing him out because Agent 007 will stay quite?

Jin: And not mess up with these robberies

Suga: Once Jimin comes back, let's end Agent 007.

Jungkook: We'll do that

Y/N got a handful of information which could be helpful for her but she looked down knowing that the person they were talking about ᴡᴀꜱ ʜᴇʀ.

*Next day*

Y/N: Where are we going?

Jungkook:To meet my real family

Y/N: You said that you don't have parents

Jungkook: But I do have a lot of relatives

Y/N: Why are you taking me there? Is this something important?

Jungkook: You'll find out soon. Stop worrying

Y/N: Actually, I'm worried about my friend. She's at home, alone and your mates aren't the best people

Jungkook: Today's a working day. They won't be at home. Even if they are, they won't try anything

Y/N: I'll trust your words

Suga looked outside in disbelief. This girl was impossible. Even though she was kidnapped, she acted like she was a princess in her castle. Irene was walking in the garden with a happy face. She was talking to the guards around about how nice the weather was. She then half-ran half-walked to the door and entered the house. Suga was sitting on a chair. She made a worried face.

Irene: No wonder the living room smells so bad
She pointed at the cigar between Suga's fingers

Suga: Then just go away.

Irene: No, you should throw it away

Suga: Why? Just because of you?

Irene: I'm not saying that.

Suga: Then what's the problem?

Irene: It's bad for your health.

Suga had a questioning look. Irene walked upto him and crossed her arms.

Irene: I know you've been studying about hacking since you're born but if you actually opened a biology book or even searched it up, you would know how dangerous it is.

Suga: Dangerous?

Irene: I'm telling you as a medical student. You won't live a long life.

Suga: What if I don't want to live a long life?

Irene: Why? Are you depressed?

Suga looked at her concerned look for a while and then started laughing. Irene had no idea why he was laughing but smiled anyway.

Irene: Oh I must have been wrong

Suga: You've a pretty smile

Irene remembered Y/N's advice

Irene: Pretty?? What do you mean? It's so ugly that people even cried!! Are you crazy? Don't you have a lot of work?? Why don't you leave?? Ahh I suddenly am feeling very sleepy

She quickly went away from there and entered Suga's room. It was Suga's but he hardly entered it and so Irene used to stay there.

Suga: Things will be entertaining after this

Y/N entered a dining room along with Jungkook. Two seats were empty (for them) and the others were filled by dangerous looking people. Some were middle aged men and women, rest were young girls and boys.
Y/N knew each of them. They were all from Jeon family. Y/N held onto Jungkook's coat. He led the way and told her to sit. Both of them settled down.

Jungkook: It's been a long time

Elder 1: Indeed! So this is the young woman?

Y/N: Nice to meet you all(smiles)

Elder 1: Oh it's our pleasure

Somin: Let's get straight to the point. What's her history?

Uncle 1: Adopted, doesn't have a good relationship with her parents, left her wedding, good at fighting

Jungkook: I didn't keep these qualities in mind while choosing her. She is someone who comforts me

Now Y/N got it all. Jungkook needed a spouse or a woman to maintain his position as the Boss. This is why he needed Y/N. He needed a woman to stay by his side. Her name would probably be entered in the Jeon family. Y/N should be happy. As she was about to enter the Jeon family, it would be a great help to KIA, but she was sad. All this time, he was thinking about his own advantage.
Does that mean Y/N didn't mean anything to him? Just a stepping stone to keep his position. Y/N should not feel hurt. But she did.

Jungkook: I'll get going

Wonwoo: Wait Jungkook! What about Underboss?

Jungkook: I can't make anyone at this moment

Jungkook got up along with Y/N who bowed a little and they left for home. The journey to home was a quite one.

Y/N: About me becoming your spouse, what will happen now?

Jungkook: You're a part of our family now. I needed a woman to keep my position, which a lot of my family members want

Y/N: Are you with me just because of that?

He stayed quiet. Y/N took it as 'Yes'.

Y/N: What's an Underboss?

Jungkook: I need to make someone the Underboss, so that if I unexpectedly die, the Underboss will take my position.

Y/N: I get it all. All those people wanted you to choose them as the Underboss

Jungkook: Yes. Once I choose someone, what do you think will happen?

Y/N: They'll try to kill you to take your position

Jungkook: Exactly. Everyone in my family is at war with each other right now.

Y/N was about to leave when Jungkook held her hand and lightly kissed it. She looked at him.

Y/N smiled and got out of the car.
Pretty tragic, right? She was with him because of her mission and he was with her because of his position. Yet, they acted like they were so in love with each other.

His car left and Y/N walked near the house. The lights outside the house were on but why were the lights in the house switched off? The guys were not supposed to be at home... because of work. Irene was the only one at home. Maybe she switched the lights off before going to sleep as she's very concerned about saving electricity.

There were guards outside the house so everything should be fine. Y/N entered the dark house and straightaway went to Irene's room.

She switched the lamp on and saw her friend sleeping peacefully. Y/N fixed her blanket and let out a 'tch'.

Y/N: So off guard

Y/N switched the lamp off and went to her room. She was feeling sleepy and wanted to take rest.
She entered her room. Though there were no lights but from outside, light could be seen through the curtains. She noticed something. A figure was sitting on the bed, near the window. Normally, people would be scared, thinking it to be a ghost, but Y/N knew it was a person. It could not be one of the guys.
Before Y/N could turn on the lights, the person attacked her. Y/N held his fist before it hit her. He grabbed her hand and flipped over her. She banged on the ground and her head hit hard. Now the person was on top of her, holding both of her hands tightly against the ground.
Y/N could have easily slipped away through this but something made her stunned for a second. She felt his body proportions. She had met him before. She tried hard to stare at his face even though it was dark and quite hard to see.
Who was it?
It was either a guy Y/N had fought with or...well......

Y/N: Who are you?

Before she could say anything, Y/N heard footsteps. Irene entered the room and switched the light on.

Irene: I heard noises. What's going on?

Y/N's eyes widened. The person who was staring right into her soul was none other than..
