I don't care is a song about not fitting in well at the social scene of parties.

Anyone with social anxiety can probably relate to it very much.

I know I can.

In the song Justin and Ed sing about how their significant others help them feel less alone and out of place at parties.

They even go as far as to say they "hate" everyone else at the party besides that one person.

It's such a mood, tbh. 😄

I loved Justin's vocals in this song, and relate to the lyrics a lot.

This song does get pretty repetitive fast though.

Another cute song about nostalgia and growing up.

Now, this was written from the perspective of 90's kid, so it isn't the time period I relate to that much.

I do get some of the 90's song references in the chorus, because I have a lot of millennial relatives I've heard playing those songs.

Growing up in the mid 2000's I spent a lot of my childhood outdoors with my neighborhood friends.

We'd go on adventures in the woods, and we'd dance on cars to music.

It was a great time.

I want someone to make a song like this for us 2000's kids though, so it can be more relatable.

AH I love this song soooo much. It is the story of my life, and it will never not be an anthem for me!

In this song, Brendon sings about coming from nothing and having hope in his dreams no matter the circumstances.

I love when artists make songs like this without flexing, you know?

Lines like,

"Didn't know how but I always had a feeling I was gonna be that one in a million." and

"They say it's all been done but they haven't seen the best of me:
my gosh, how they resonate.

Every single lyric hits home for me, so I truly can't pick a favorite, but if I had to.

I just love songs about following your dreams!

My imagination is very special to me, and this beautiful song is all about imagination and the impossible.

Hugh Jackman sings about having a ton of dreams in this song and how other people might find them insane.

It happens to the best of us.

The production of this song is truly magical and makes me feel like I am flying when I listen to it. 🌫️

It's a cute song, and I like how Ed has made two good songs about not fitting in as of late.

In this song, Shawn Mendes sings about a relationship that means the world to him.

I don't really listen to Shawn, but I found this song catchy and cute.

I'm not the biggest fan of songs like this where a person is putting all their happiness in their significant other, but I made an exception for this one because the authenticity here is sweet.

And I liked his vocals in the track, plus the upbeat melody gives you a happy vibe.

8. When I grow up

Rating: 10/10

So, prior to 2016, I didn't really listen to rap, because most of it is demeaning to women, about flexing, or just wayyyy too vulgar, and that stuff repels me.

Then in 2016, I heard songs by NF, and he did none of those things.
So, I became engrossed with his music.

He is way talented, and I don't think he has ever made a song I can't relate to in one way or another.

In this song, When I grow up, he raps about having big dreams that many ridiculed and never believed in.

Raise your hand if you can relate to that. 🙋‍♀️

I sure can.

He raps about taking a non conventional path in life, and as usual he delivers a bop without swearing or vulgarity.

The music video is just as epic as the song, and it is all really inspiring.

I can't really pick a favorite song of NF's, but if I had to this is one of the top ones.

Here we have, yet another song about missing your childhood and wanting to rewind time.

This song is sadder than the other two nostalgic songs I mentioned though.

Because in here, NF raps about wanting his mind back from mental illness, stress, and all the toils of growing up.

It is very relatable to me and will really have you deep in your feels if you can relate too.

The production of this song is amazing, the lyrics hit home in so many ways, and the vocals are beautiful.

I miss the days is one of those songs you need to listen to to understand the greatness of it though, so be sure to check it out.

I really love songs about confidence rather than arrogance.

In this song, Zauntee expresses his confidence in who God made him to be and in his talents, without flexing or being cocky.

In fact, this track is really humble, (you don't see many rap songs like that at all) making it really stick out to me.

God taught me is also very catchy, and many of the bars are quite clever.

It is one of those songs you want to listen to driving with the windows rolled down in my opinion.
