G'day Mate.

Welcome to Melbourne, Australia's fastest rising city.

With the fourth-longest tram line in the world and 7 years of being the world's most liveable city, this place is an epic city of culture and society.

I travelled to Melbourne with a group of friends recently, and boy have I experienced the best cake, best fashion and best accommodation for such a huge city.

As I am an Aussie myself, I thought I should share some of my Australian culture with you all.

Here is a recount of my trip to Melbourne, Australia.

____

DAY ONE

____

We arrived at Melbourne airport, called a taxi and drove into the city.

People filled the streets and as I looked out the window. I saw laneways full of street art, small but amazing restaurants tucked and hidden in the most peculiar of places, and streets and streets of shops.

After the girls and I dropped off our luggage and checked in, we hit the streets. We roamed around, browing the colourful hidden alleyways and took way too many photos.

My phone had filled storage twice.

After a while we were feeling hungry so we found an amazing Melbourne restaurant called Cumulus Inc, and had some of the best food I'd ever eaten.

Take a look! Here are some photos that I took;

(I'm not the best at photography 😅)
____

After we went to the restaurant for lunch, we continued shopping in a few malls. We even went to this super retro vintage shop called Quick Brown Fox and bought a few funky things from there!

The entire city of Melbourne is filled from top to very bottom with awesome places, food and people.

We were there for only 3 days, and we only barely scraped the surface.

We went back to our apartment that we had rented and settled down, laying on the couches and having a cup of tea whilst watching Stranger Things (naturally).

After that, we decided to go to MoVida, an amazing Spansish restaurant hidden in one of the most unique and iconic alleyways in the world.

Filled with colourful, amazing and eccentric street art, this place is a popular hot spot for photography and tourism.

We had a delicious dinner and afterwards had churros for desert.

Churros is amazing.

A 👏 ma 👏 zing 👏

There is such a diverse range of culture and history in Australia. Every street you pass has a sushi joint, or an Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Indian or French restaurant. I'm not even kidding.

It's surreal.

DAY 2
____

The group woke up fairly early and our friend brought up some delicious fruit and yoghurt from a health shop down the road.

After indulging in the awesomeness, we got ready for the day and walked out the door.

I went to a few arcades, and at this one called The Block Arcade, there is amazing tea room called Hope Toun.

Here are a few photos I took!

Keep in mind I was a tourist and that this is in no way a promotion or anything like that 😊

I so wish I got to have some of this! It looks so cool! It was this amazing fig tart and the base was chocolate I think. 🌸

_____

After that, we looked around for a while longer in the arcade and then headed to the big mall, where we tried on a heap cool stuff and wondered about aimlessly. It's actually really fun shopping with friends.

Also, I was in a shop - I can't remember the name - but in the change rooms there were these golden pillars reflecting this light over the room and it looks so...magestical!

____

🏵 So many other things happened while we were in Melbourne. On a last note, I'll leave you a few photos to look at :) 🏵
