MARIE VANDERWALL never prided herself as an extroverted person. However, she was what many labelled as a social 𝒃𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒍𝒚. This enabled her to make friends far too easily. So, clad in her designer headbands, white blouses, cropped sweater vests, and squeaky clean Mary Janes, she sauntered around campus with the golden sun glowing brightly down onto her face making everything seem like it was a perfect day. Because it was a perfect day. Every day was. She had a perfect life.

Furthermore, everybody loved Marie Vanderwall. Nobody could get enough of her ( she was like a drug in high demand ), and neither could a certain hazel eyed man. But we'll get to him later.

Next, there was her polar opposite best friend Vanessa Davenport. While Marie indulged herself in high fashion, the pussycat dolls and delicately scented honey and cinnamon misted body sprays, Vanessa was the complete opposite. Vanessa could often be found 'jamming out' to Metallica, Deftones, AC/DC, and the likes. Her deep, ebony black hair was always left down to flow freely down the back of her matching band tees. Although, occasionally, if Marie pushed it enough, it would be intricately placed into a small bun with loose bangs framing her pale face. Black hightop converse always adorned her feet, and the female could never be seen without a Walkman shoved in her pocket with a pair of headphones to pair ( hey, call her old fashioned ! )

Finally, Vanessa Davenports' most prized possession. Her car! It was a gift from Marie as her parents didn't exactly have the money to buy her the car the newly turned eighteen year old had asked for. It was a sleek black Camaro, which was already pre━packed with a lighter, just one pack of cigarettes ( which the ravenette could be found complaining to her best friend about later on in the day when the whole of the school weren't oggling at the pair ), newly bought copies of her favourite tapes and even had one made just for her. Whilst going for a late night drive, Vanessa was disgruntled to find out that Marie had, in fact, snuck a few The Pussycat Dolls songs on there along with some Gwen Stefani ( it being her favourite song Rich Girl, how fitting ).

The aspiring nurse became even more discontented when she found that she could not skip the song as it was on repeat. She sighed in annoyance and took the mix tape out. Vanessa turned it over and low and behold, written on the back of the tape was a small note in the brunette's oh so perfect cursive handwriting '𝓱𝓸𝓹𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓮𝓷𝓳𝓸𝔂 !' accompanied by a small winking face.

Lastly, there were Natasha Stewart and Michael Hayward. They were essentially the 'it' couple on campus, and much like Marie, people adored them. The two were more reserved but still talked to Marie and Vanessa on a daily basis. You could often find them talking to a professor or studying in the library while sharing some earphones.

Natasha and Michael got along extremely well with not only each other but also their peers, too, and learned to keep personal matters out of their studies. They were very laid back but sure knew how to throw a party. They'd usually be all nighters, and everybody who was anybody made sure to attend and wear their best clothes. This meant nails were to be perfectly polished, eyelashes carefully curled, and hair braisingly brushed.

Usually, nobody remembered the day after the party, and that was a given for how how shit ━━ faced everyone was guaranteed to get. However, one night, Marie stumbled across a rather drunk looking man slumped in the libraries wooden chairs she made it her mission to ensure he gets back to his dorm safely.

And things just escalate from there . . .

Oh, how guilty Sam Winchester would come to find himself for allowing himself to have one too many drinks that night as it allowed to meet the best thing that ever happened to him yet also the worst.

Marie and Sam would constantly arrange to hang out. Wether it was watching endless amounts of Legally blonde, and a plethora of other chick flicks, getting coffee in a cute little café, that had even dared to memorise their orders to a T, or going for long drives at night in Marie's car to fall asleep under a blanket of stars while the moon hung over the pair as if watching them. Daring them to act on their not so hidden feelings for each other.

It wasn't this part of his life that Sam felt guilt for. No. It was what happened after the bliss of being young and in love had faded that made him feel this way.

After what would later be known to the Winchester brothers and even John as 'the incident'.

But for now, while life was perfect for both Sam Winchester and Marie Vanderwall, they sure as hell would take all the chances life threw at them in order to achieve that sweet, sweet 'apple pie life'.
