SYNOPSIS!

━━━━ EIRENE BLACKWELL knew that luck was never on her side. What with the mysterious disappearance of her sister and the (rather gruesome) murder of her parents being her first glance of that. Another example being when she got stood up at her school dance back in High School, only to see the guy she was supposed to be going with making out with another girl rather aggressively in the backseat of his trashy car. And then again, when she came back from college one day to see her new home burnt to a crisp. So, all in all, Eirene realised she had rather bad luck. The girl concluded that she was rather like a magnet. How a magnet would attract anything metallic, she would attract anything and everything that could have an impact on her life, the impact almost always being bad. She also concluded that she had horrible luck with guys too. Each one messed with her in their own different ways. Whether it was cheating on her with her best friend (yes, her best friend) or just being a complete jerk in general, Eirene pronounced she was done with guys. For now now at least, that was.

━━━━ NOW, ABOUT her family, Eirene knew what they did, of course she did. As the oldest of two children, it was her duty to pick it up first and then teach her younger sister later in life when she was ready. Although, she unfortunately never got the chance as she came home one day to find the walls that were once filled with happy memories of the family (when Eirene rode a bike and learned how to shoot a gun for the first time etc) were now covered head to toe in blood. There was not an inch of the crimson walls that showed what colour was originally underneath. Her parents' dead bodies lay their, not moving, not blinking and most certainly of all three . . . not breathing. Her mother, Clarissa, had been trying to defend herself with her gun. Sure, it wasn't the most effective at the time, but she had to make time for her father to get her younger sister out of there safely. Speaking of which, clearly wasn't successful. Her father, Brian, had been stopped before he could even step a foot up the stairs. His body was just as lifeless and just as cold as her mothers. What with his once calming blue eyes now a cold steel blue as they lay open. He was spread out on the stairs. His head collided with one of them as his feet were laying on the ground below him. He, too, had a gun in his hand, except he was joint with a hunting knife as well.

━━━━ EIRENE TRIED to ignore the lump in her throat and the bound up emotions she was feeling right now as she trudged up the blood -- soaked stairs to her younger sisters' room. Surely, they or whatever had murdered her family had chosen to leave the youngest daughter alone. She was merely a kid, after all. Eirene bounded down the hallway and rushed to her sisters bedroom while calling her name. Only to find it empty. There was no sign that the girl had ever even occupied the room. All that was left was the bracelet that Eirene had made for the girl for her fifth birthday that had just passed not long ago. The woman fell to her knees. How could they do this? Take away her family like that? She tried to imagine her parents begging for mercy as they fought off whatever had killed them so mercilessly. She tried to imagine her sisters' screams as she was taken to god knows where. And she tried to imagine what it would have been like if she had been there at the time while she dialled the number for the police. Would she have died too? Or would she have been taken like her poor, sweet sister? It was then that she remembered what her parents had told her, 'monsters don't show mercy, and nor should you.' They were right, those monsters hadn't shown mercy to her parents, and nor would she finally found who had done this to her once happy little family. She would kill them and would most certainly show them no mercy.

━━━━ FROM THAT day on, Eirene Blackwell swore to avenge her family, and she swore to find whatever had murdered her family. She knew that a hunters life was hard and that innocent people around you always have to pay the price. Maybe it'd be her instead one day and not some random bystander.

━━━━ SAM WINCHESTER enjoyed college life. Finally, getting away from his father and brother thrilled him. Sure, he missed them at times, but if he was having a good time at college, then who cared about them? He had a girlfriend and a few good friends, and that was all he needed. One of those friends just so happened to be Eirene Blackwell. She had just transferred to his college from her old one and had become fast friends with his girlfriend Jessica. So, Jessica introduced the two, and they both found out that they shared a lot of likes and dislikes. They also discovered that their families were both hunting families, although they weren't too sure how the topic had even come up in the first place. Rule No. 1 in both families clearly stated that they weren't allowed to ever tell anybody what they did under any circumstances. But that was clearly a bust. However, it only seemed to be another plus for them and only strengthened their friendship.

━━━━ THIS LATER led Sam to tell Eirene all about his brother, Dean, and Eirene told Sam all about her sister, Lydia, although there wasn't much to tell considering she was only seven, Sam still welcomed the knowledge of the younger girl. When he asked about her parents, she immediately shut him down. The topic was never brought up again.

━━━━ EIRENE THOUGHT her best friends older brother was the most handsome man she had ever seen, and the fact that he was interested in her? well, that was just a plus.

━━━━ SAM OFTEN hoped that his brother and best friend would get along, and they did just that. Sam was now aware that Eirene's family were a hunting family as his father had told him about them before. He was surprised. However, Dean didn't immediately know.

━━━━ DEAN WINCHESTER was a procrastinator. With his mother dead and brother off living his dream life at college, he found he had a lot of free time. So, what else to do other than help his father with particularly tricky hunts. If his old man needed help, you bet he'd be there within a blink of an eye. No questions asked. If he wasn't out on a hunt, another common place, you must find the second oldest. Winchester is at a party or club trying to hit on any girl he can find. It didn't always work, however. So when his brother introduced him to the blue - eyed beauty that was Eirene Blackwell he just couldn't get enough and makes her his new mission (spoiler alert, it worked although Eirene would never let the man know that, not yet at least).

━━━━ FURTHERMORE, DEAN thought Eirene was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes upon (and he'd seen a lot). The man often found himself wondering how his dorky brother had scored a friend that hot. But besides that, Eirene Blackwell and Dean Winchester became good friends after that. Neither knowing about each others tragic pasts, they needed to however to know that they had many things in common. Their friendship only strengthened over time, soon blossoming into something more - but both of them were way too stubborn to ever admit that - so, Sam made it his mission to get the pair to admit it. It was, however, extremely difficult because of the endless amount of supernatural creatures they had had to fight along the way, constantly getting in the pairs way.

━━━━ MOVING ON from that though, Dean often distracted himself with other women, and that was almost any woman he saw mind you, such as the blond waitress from a diner he and his brother were occupying, or a mother with a child with exceptionally good art skills. No matter where the brothers went, Dean found someone to distract himself with. Although none of them amounted to Eirene Blackwell, of course. But Dean would rather not talk about her. If she was ever brought up, the other contender in the conversation would find themselves met with a dismissive hand or a sudden change of subject. So, it was safe to say that Dean Winchester was absolutely blinded by the woman who would never see him as her best friends older (rather good looking) brother, or at least that's what he thought.
