Y/N's POV

Todoroki and I had confessed about our feelings a few days prior to the U.A sports festival announcement.

Our little crush on each other made us blush whenever we interacted, especially during lunch since his seat was beside mine.

Whenever our hands brushed, one of us would gather the courage to hold hands instead of pulling away.

That would make us both turn beet red and our friends asking us what's wrong.

All except Izuku, since he was the reason Todoroki and I were together.

Well we weren't together together yet.

We hadn't put any labels since we were still new to this whole couple thing.

That and we didn't know how to bring it up. What was I supposed to say.

'Hey do I call you boyfriend now?' That sounds so weird.

By the time the sports festival came around two weeks post the announcement, we both became a bit comfortable.

Not comfortable enough for everyone else to find out about our unsure relationship, but being able to have a normal conversation without blushing red and stuttering comfortable.

Also our relationship was still not defined and the only physical contact we have are the holding hands and occasional 'friend' hugs. Damn :)

The sports event had started with lots of cheering from the crowd as the students started the obstacle race.

I was able to make it into the top 10 with my quirk, which guaranteed my place in the second event; the cavalry battle.

Shoto invited me to be a part of his team and I happily agreed, and since Iida and Momo were a part of it too, we were sure to win.

My force fields and Todoroki's ice were great defensive tools.

Every time our eyes met, he gave me a subtle smile, looking cute even with that determined winner look in his eyes.

In the end, after successfully getting the 10 million point headband, we won.

During the celebration with the team, I noticed Shoto walking to the side with Izuku. I was curious but I kept it to myself for that moment.

"L/N may I talk to you for a second?" Todoroki approached me after coming back from his talk with Izuku.

I nodded and he led me towards an empty waiting room.

Once in, I saw his face looking down and sad.

I gulped and slowly approached him. He needed me and I had to be there for him.

I grabbed his hands which were clenched by his sides, bringing them in between us.

My fingers traced over his knuckles, feeling him relax and I gently whispered. "What is it Todoroki-kun?"

He sighed, eyes finally meeting mine. They looked a bit lost, hurt, confused, angry. A flood of emotions in his bi coloured eyes.

"I want to tell you about my past. I want you to know everything." My body stiffened when he gave me a reply.

His past, his family had always been a sensitive topic that I didn't want to push on.

"Did something happen Shoto? Why so suddenly..." I trailed off.

"I saw my dad and it just...made me so angry...and I told Midoriya about my past, but that was out of competitiveness. But you...you deserve to know this stuff about me." He growled and sobered through his sentence, making my heart ache for him.

"Are you sure? You don't need to, I can wait." I held his hands tighter, knowing that he was at his weakest then, and I had to take care of him.

"Yes. There's so much I want you to know, but I don't have enough time. The tourn-" he started but I interrupted him.

"Focus on that right now. You can tell me what you need to when it's over. I can wait." My lips curled into a soft smile.

His fallen lips slowly started to mirror mine, eyebrows no longer knit in frustration.

"Thank you L/N." he let go of my hands and wrapped his arms around my waist.

My body stilled but slowly melted against him when he rested his head on my shoulder.

My arms wrapped around him, gently rubbing his back.

Slowly he started pulling away, our faces barely centimetres apart.

My eyes flitted from his blue and grey orbs to his soft looking lips. I caught him doing the same.

His cheeks turned a pinkish colour, and I was sure mine were the same.

Taking initiative, he leaned in closer, enchanting me and making me close my eyes.

And then I felt his lips land on mine.

We stayed like that for a seconds, before moving our lips, finding rhythm with each other.

My fingers curled against his uniform when he pulled my waist closer to him, holding me tight.

Our first kiss lasted a few more seconds until we had to part for air.

The small blush on our cheeks had exploded into a fury of red.

We both looked at each other and laughed, completely embarrassed.

"Wow...that was...really nice." I commented.

Todoroki nodded, unable to find any words to express how that kiss made his heart rate quicken tenfold.

"L/N will you be my girlfriend? I want to be able to call you that." The boy asked, taking his hand away from my waist to run through his red and white hair.

I smiled at him. "Only on one condition. You will call me by my first name." I stated.

Todoroki laughed, and that made my heart soar. "Only if you call me by mine, my dear girlfriend Y/N." he hugged me again. "Anything for my dear boyfriend Shoto."

After a short fit of laughter, our eyes connected again...and so did our lips, in a quick kiss.

He pulled away and stared at me with his eyes, half lidded in pure adoration.

"Don't we have to go for the third round of the festival!" I squealed when I saw the time.

I made a move to pull away from the hug, but was yanked into Shoto's chest.

"One last kiss, for good luck." My boyfriend requested, and I was more than happy to oblige, going on my tippy toes to kiss him on his lips for the third time.
