Jaycee panted heavily, looking over at Abraham's dead body, head bashed open. He was dead.

She bit down on her tongue, looking over at her daughter that held her head in her hands, kneeling closer to Aaron. Abraham was gone.

Jaycee's body shook, tears freely falling from her eyes as she let quiet breaths out. The blood of Abraham dripped off of the bat. "Did you hear that?" Negan chuckled in a sinister way. "He said, 'suck my nuts.'" He let out another laugh.

Jaycee turned to Rosita, who stared right in front of her, tears staining her cheeks. Negan then raised his bat, continuing to bash what was left of Abraham's head. Jaycee winced as it continued, until there was nothing left but mush.

"Oh, my goodness!" Negan stared down at the wired bat, a sickening grin on his face. "Look at this." He flicked his bat, making the blood decorate the right side of ricks face. "You guys, look at my dirty girl!" He chuckled. What kind of sick fuck was this guy?

He panted as he moved towards Rosita, who refused to look up. "Sweetheart." He stood in front of her, putting the blood covered bat in her face.

Jaycee dug her nails into her things, narrowed eyes as she looked up at the man. "Lay your eyes on this." He smirked as Rosita stared at it, her body shaking. "Oh damn." Negan turned to the remains of Abraham. "Were youโ€”were you together?" He tilted his head. "That sucks." He put the bat back near her face. "But if you were, you should know there was a reason for all of this. Redโ€”and hell, he was, is and will ever be red." He chuckled as Jaycee felt sick to her stomach. "He just took one or six or seven for the team." He said loudly. "So take...a damn look. Rosita let out quiet cries, shaking her head. "Take a damn look!"

Daryl grunted as he quickly got up, throwing his fist into negans face. Negan walked backwards as Daryl went to take another hit, but negans men were quick to grab him.

Jaycee's breathing became heavy as she stared at Daryl, who was tackled to the ground. "No!" Negan yelled, bat pointed at Daryl. "Oh, no." He breathed out, shaking his head. He lowered his bat, chucking. "That? Oh, my! That..." He crouched down beside Daryl. "That is a no-no."

Jaycee's tongue started to bleed from the amount of pressure she was putting into it with her teeth.

Jaycee Gomez was scared. Not for her. But for her family. For her daughter. For everyone. "The whole thingโ€”not one bit of that shit flies here!" He said as Dwight came over, thinking he was the shit and pointed Daryl's own crossbow in his face.

"Do you want me to do it?" Dwight asked negan as Jaycee shook her head, her bottom lip trembling. "Right here.

Negan didn't stay anything at first, grabbing a hand full of Daryl's hair, making him grunt. "No." He breathed out. "You don't kill them..." he let go of Daryl. "Not until you try a little." He smiled up at Dwight, who pulled him back next to Rosita.

Negan tilted his head, standing back up. "Anyway..." he sighed, looking back down at them all. "That's not how it works. "Now, I already told you people, first one's free. Then what'd I say? I said I would shut that shit down!" He yelled at them, walking close to where Jaycee and Glenn were kneeling. "No exceptions." He smirked. "Now, I don't know what kind of lying assholes you've been dealing with...but I'm a main of my word." He pointed at himself. "First impressions are important. I need you to know me." He smiled that them as Jaycee stared at the back of his head with a glare. "So..." he held onto his bat. "Back to it."

Blood splattered against the right side of Jaycee's face, making her let out a painful gasp, turning to Glennโ€”Who just had his head bashed in with negans bat. She shook her head, tears clouding her vision, lips trembling.

Another smack, blood splattered against Jaycee. "No!" Maggie let out a painful cry as she looked down at her husband.

"M.." The mumbled voice of Glenn made Jaycee turn, only for her to turn her head back aroundโ€”she just wanted to cry.

Negan leaned in front of him. "Buddy, you still there?" Negan asked him, grin on his face as Jaycee kept her head low. "I just don't know. It seems like you're trying to speak, but you just took a hell of a hit." He chuckled at Glenn's suffering. "I just popped your skull so hard, your eyeball just popped out, and it is gross as shit!"

"Maggie, I'll...I'll find you." Glenn spoke with every last energy he had in his body. Jaycee leaned forwards, the pain in her hands, knees and body yelling for her to do something. But she couldn't.

Maggie's sobs could be heard as negan let out a sigh. "Oh, hell." He pretended to feel sympathetic. "I can see this is hard on you guys. I am sorry." He slowly nodded his head as Glenn continued to grunt in agony. "I truly am. But I did say. no exceptions!" He grabbed his bat before taking another swing at Glenn, Jaycee jumping from the sound.

Glenn's body fell down, twitching as negan did the same thing to Glenn, as he did Abraham. Beat his head in until there was nothing left.

Adeline's body shook as she stared at Glenn, watching negan lower his bat against his head multiple times. She tried to tare her eyes away. But she couldn't. She was limp.

"You bunch of pussies." Negan spoke as he continued to hit Glenn with his bat. "I'm just getting started." another hit. After another. After another. "Lucille is thirsty." He breathed out a laugh. "She is a vampire bat!" He walked away from Glenn, then towards Rick

"What?" Negan smirked, tilting his head. "Was the joke that bad?"

"I'm gonna kill you." Rick breathed out, looking up at negan, who crouched down in front of him.

"What? I didn't quite catch that. You're gonna have to speak up." Negan crouched in front of ricks face.

"Not today...not tomorrow...but I'm gonna kill you." Rick confidently said, nodding his head as negan grinned.

Negan inhaled sharply, keeping his eyes on ricks. "Jesus." He mumbled. "Simon." He spoke. "What did he have, a knife?"

"Uh, he had a hatchet." Simon responded as negan broke eye contact with Rick.

"A hatchet?" Negan raised his brows.

"He had an axe." Simon added as negan looked back at Rick, letting out a chuckle.

"Simon's my right-hand man. Having one of those is important. I mean, what do you have left without them? A whole lot of work." Negan shook his head. "Do you have one? Maybe one of these fine people still breathing?" Rick lowered his head. "Oh... or did Iโ€”" he raised his bat as he clicked his tongue. Rick didn't answer as negan sighed. "Sure. Yeah. Give me his axe." Negan said.

Simon nodded his head as he turned to a brunette boy, the kid, who was no older than Adeline or Carl, handing him the axe.

Simon handed the axe to negan, who held it tightly in his hands. He stared at Rick before standing up, putting the axe in his belt.

He then laid his hand on ricks shoulder, dragging him as Jaycee frowned. "I'll be right back." He said as he dragged Rick ( like a dog ) to the RV. "Maybe Rick will be rich me. If not, well, we can just turn these people inside out, won't we?" He said. "I mean...the ones that are left."

Jaycee lowered her head as the RV door shut. She didn't want to look to the left of her, or the right. She couldn't move.

Th RV had driven away, leaving everyone in silence, sniffles and quiet cries were all that was left.

But Jaycee finally looked up, and her eyes immediately went to her daughter, the younger Gomez crying in her arms, her fragile body shaking uncontrollably.

It was starting to get lighter and Rick and negan weren't back yet Jaycee was worrying. She just wanted to go to her daughter, hold her in her arms and comfort her.

But Aaron was doing his best to calm her down, which Jaycee appreciated. She was the youngest there, only being freshly fourteen. She should have to whiteness such a thing.

Adeline was traumatised.

Her little body continued to shiver, whether she was cold or terrified. Movement near the card made Jaycee look up, to see the younger boy opening a car door, which made Simon, Megan's right hand man go over to him.

Why would they bring a kid to watch a murder? He shut one of the car doors, a jacket in his hands, which made Jaycee frown.

"Your dad won't be happy, kid." Simon shook his head as the boy sent him a glare, walking towards Jaycee's group, who still stood on their knees with the last energy they had in them.

"Well, he's not here." The boy simply said, walking towards Adeline, making Jaycee slightly sit up.

He carefully handed the younger girl the jacket, as Adeline anxiously took it from his hands, her hands trembling, as she gave him a nod.

Jaycee bit her tongue as Adeline slowly put on the jacket, which was big for her, but, nevertheless, it stopped the shaking.

After a short while, the RV came back, making everyone anxious. Was Rick okay? was he in that RV? Did negan kill him?

It was a while until Rick and Negan finally came out of the RV, Rick being pushed to the floor and dragged into the middle. "Here we are." Negan smirked down at Rick. "Let me ask you something, Rick. Do you even know what that little trio was about?" Negan circled him as the group watched anxiously. "Speak when you're spoken to." He added as Rick didn't reply,

Rick panted heavily as he sat up, nodding his head. "Okay. Okay."

"That trip was about the way that you looked at me." Negan looked over at the RV, then back at Rick. "I wanted to change that. I wanted you to understand. But you're still looking at me the same damn way...like I shit I'm your scrambled eggs, and that's not gonna work."

Jaycee's eyes never left Rick, her nails digging into her thighs. "So... do I give you another chance?" Negan asked as he crouched down beside Rick.

Rick shakily nodded his head, his breathing heavy. "Yeah. Yes. Yes." He whispered.

Negan patted ricks back as he stood up. "Okay. All right." Negan chuckled. "And here it is, the grand-prize game. What you do next will decide whether your crap day becomes everyone's last crap day. Or just another crap day." He looked over at his head. "Get some guns to the back of their heads."

And Jaycee knew who was behind her, pointing Daryl's crossbow at her head, which made her clenched her jaw, hands clenching into a fist.

"Good. Now...level with their noses, so if you have to fire..." he imitated a explosion with a smirk. "It'll be a real mess."

Negan turned to Carl, "kid..." he pointed and signalled for carl to come over. "Right here." Carl looked at his dad, tilting his head. "Kid..now." Carl slowly got up and walked towards negan. "You a southpaw?" Negan asked him as he undid his belt.

"Am I a what?" Carl asked with a tilt of his head.

"You a lefty?" Negan rephrased his question.

"No." Carl simply said as negan hummed, raising how brow.

"Good." Negan tied his belt around carls left arm and Jaycee knew what he was about to do, her heart dropped. "That hurt?" Carl shook his head. "It should. It's supposed to." Negan smirked. "All right. Get down on the ground, kid, next to daddy. Spread them wings." He grabbed carls hat and threw it to the ground.

Carl did what he said, getting down next to Rick, negan pushing him down. "Simon...you got a pen?" Negan asked his right hand man.

"Yeah." Simon nodded his head beside the brunette boy that had given the jacket to Adeline. Simon reached into his pocket, throwing the pen to negan, who caught it, opening it with his mouth.

He crouched down beside Carl and Rick. "Sorry, kid. This is gonna be as cold as a warlock's ballsack, just like he was hanging his ballsack above you and dragging it right across the forearm." Negan told him, rolling carls sleeve up and drawing a line on his arm. "There you go. Gives you a little leverage." He smirked as he took the pen lid out of his mouth.

"Please. Please." Rick pleaded, looking down at his son. "Please don't. Please don't."

"Me?" Negan frowned, looking at Rick as he let out a chuckle. "I ain't doing shit." He stood up as he pointed at the axe. "Rick, I want you to take your axe...cut off your son's left arm off, right on that line." Jaycee felt sick to her stomach, once again. Now, I know, I know. Youre gonna have to process that for a second. That makes sense. Still, though, I'm gonna need you to do it, or all these people are gonna die. Then Carl dies, then the people back home die...and then you, eventually. I'm gonna keep you breathing for a few years, just so you can stew on it." He smirked.

"Youโ€”you don't have to do this." Michonne spoke up, tears in her eyes. "We understand. We understand." She nodded her head. "Weโ€”"

"You understand." Negan cut Michonne off. "Yeah. I'm not sure that Rick does." He pointed to their leader. "I'm gonna need a clean cut right there on that line. Now, I know this is a screwed-up thing to ask, but it's gonna have to be like a salami sliceโ€”nothing messy, clean, 45 degreesโ€”give us something to fold over. We got a great doctor. The kid'll be fine." He tilted his head. "Probably."

Rick didn't move, his eyes in his son. "Rick..." Negan breathed out, crouching down beside him. "This needs to happen nowโ€”chop chop..." he lowered his bag against carls head. "Or I will crush the little fellas skull myself, hell, maybe even the little shaky one over there..." negan pointed his bat at Adeline, making Jaycee shake her head, biting back everything she wanted to say, do. "Who randomly spawned a jacket on her." Negan chuckled, looking up at Simon, who pointed to the boy beside him.

Negan tilted his head, licking his lips and turning to Rick, who was looking at Jaycee, then Adeline, then his son, then negan.

"It canโ€”it canโ€”it can be me." Rick stuttered, literally shaking. "It can be me." Rick nodded his head, practically begging negan. "Y-you could do it to me. I cโ€”I can go withโ€”with you."

"No." Negan shook his head. "This is the only way." Negan stood up as everyone followed him with their gazes. "Rick..pick up the axe." Negan turned to him as Rick turned to the axe on the floor. "Not making a decision is a big decision. You really want to see all these people die? You will. You will see every ugly thing. Oh, my god." Negan shook his head once again as Rick let out a groan. "Are you gonna make me count?"

"Okay, Rick." Negan nodded his head, licking his bottom lip. "You win. I am counting." He turned to Rick. "Three!" He yelled.

"Please." Rick cried out as he reached for the axe. "Please. It can be me." He gasped for air as he cried. "Please!"

"Two!" Negan said as he crouched to ricks level.

"Please, don't doโ€”" Negan slapped ricks face then grabbed it. "This is it." He said as he let go of Rick, standing back up.

"One!"

Rick held onto his son's hand and then picked up the axe, his hands and body shaking as he lifted the axe. But nothing happened. Negan crouched down, making Rick turn to him, ace still raised.

"You answer to me." Negan said lowly. "You provide for me." Rick nodded his head as he panted heavily. "You belong to me. Right?"

Rick quickly nodded his head. But he didn't answer, making negan grab his face. "Speak when you're spoken to! You answer to me! You provide for me!"

"Provide for you." Rick repeated his words.

"You helping to me, right?!" He yelled at Rick, the leader nodding his head.

"Right." He breathed out, body shaking.

"Right." Negan repeated with a smirk, letting go of him. "That..." he pointed at ricks face. "Is the look I wanted to see." He grinned, standing up and grabbing the axe from ricks hands. "We did it...all of us, together." He pointed at them all with his bat. Even the dead guys on the ground. Hell, they get the spirit award, for sure." Jaycee clenched her jaw as she lowered her head. "Today was a productive Damn day!" He grinned. "Now, I hope for all your sake...that you get it now...that you understand how things work. Things have changed." He smiled down at them all. "Whatever you had going for you...that is over now."

He let out a sigh as he turned to Dwight, who was still stood behind Jaycee. "Dwight...load him up." He pointed his bat at Daryl, making Jaycee shake her head, turning to the man beside Rosita.

Dwight moved to grab Daryl as nobody could
help, Rosita trying to grab him, but failed as Dwight threw him into the van that brought them here, shutting the doors behind him.

"He has guts." Negan crouched back beside Rick. "As does she." He pointed his bat at Jaycee, who just glared as he grinned. "Not a little bitch like someone I know." He turned back to Rick, smug look on his face. "I like him." He pointed to the van. "He's mine now. But you still want to try something? 'Not today, not tomorrow.'" He mocked Rick. "'Not today, not tomorrow', I will cut pieces off of..." he looked up at Dwight, pushing his by into the ground. "Hell's his name?"

"Daryl." Simon answered negan.

"Wow." Negan chuckled. "That actually sounds right. I will cut pieces off of Daryl and put them on your doorstepโ€”or, better yet, I will bring him to you and have you do it for me." Negan smirked as he stood up. "Ah. Welcome to a brand-new beginning, you sorry shits! I'm gonna leave you a truck. Keep it." The men behind them started to move away. "Use it to cart all the crap you're gonna find me. We'll be back for our first offering in one week. Until then..." he threw ricks axe behind him, walking away as his men followed to their vehicles. "Ta-ta."

Jaycee breathed out as she looked over to her daughter, ignoring the vehicles that left and the Saviours leaving. She was frozen in place, as the rest of them were.

Jaycee didn't want to move, not when all these Saviours were still around. But once they were all gone, Maggie was the first one to move, standing up carefully.

"Maggie. Maggie." Rick softly called out to her as Jaycee lifted her head, looking over at the widow, who stood up. She limped as she looked over to Glenn. "You need to sit down." Rick told her as he stood up. "Maggie."

"No." Maggie cut him off as Jaycee slowly got herself up, going over to her daughter, who was staring at the ground.

"We need to get you to hilltop." Rick told her as Adeline got herself up, her legs shaking as she quickly wrapped her arms around Jaycee, not wanting to let go.

"You need to go get ready." Maggie replied to Rick, her eyes on the remains of Glenn.

"For what?" Rick asked her, everyone just as startled and scared and anxious.

Jaycee stared at Maggie, running her hands through Adeline's hair. "To fight them." Maggie responded to Rick.

"They have Daryl." Rick sighed, tilting his head as he stood behind Maggie. "They have an army. We would die, all of us."

"Go home." Maggie told them all, her body shaking, weakly. They had to get her to hilltop. Her voice started to break as she spoke once again. "Take everybody with you. I can get there by myself."

Rick held out his hand for her. "you can barely stand up."

"I need to go. You need to go to Alexandria." She cried out as her breathing was heavy, her hands rubbing against her legs. "You were outโ€”out here for me."

"We still are." Rick told her, his breaths heavy. But Maggie just fell into a fit of sobs, her body shaking.

"I can make it now." She turned around to face Rick. "I need you to go back. I can't have you out here. I can't have you all out here anymore. I need you to go back." She said as she walked forwards.

"Maggie, we're not leaving you." Jaycee's voice cracked as she cradled her daughter. "Okay?"

"You have to." Maggie slowly nodded her head.

"It's not gonna happen." Rick shook his head, his eyes staying on Maggie.

Sasha got up and slowly walked towards Maggie. "I'm taking her." She said as she stood beside Maggie. "I'm gonna get her there. I'm gonna keep her safe." Sasha said as she laid her hand on maggies back. "I'm not giving you a choice."

"I'm taking him with me." She said to Sasha, referring to Glenn. She moved towards Glenn, slowly crouching down.

Adeline softly cried into her mother's shoulder, Jaycee lowering her chin, looking over at Aaron, who was just standing there.

They all helped each other out, getting the bodies of their family. As they separated from Maggie and Sasha, the rest got into the RV.

Jaycee tried to scrub the blood off of her face, Glenn's blood. She scrubbed her cheek until her skin turned raw.

She bit down on her bottom lip, hard, silencing her muffled sobs. But, she didn't know if she had got it all off, making Aaron help her.
