"Oh my god, it's snowing!" Dusk pointed out, her eyes widening at the white sight on the former green field next to Sissy's house. The barn had a gray cloud hovering above it that spewed occasional lightning and more snow on the front. As the siblings got out of the car, the barn door flung open, and out came a blonde-haired woman in jeans and a long jacket, holding in both hands a rifle.

"Get back! I mean it, don't move a muscle!" She shouted, making everyone put their hands up and stop in their tracks. "Sissy, what's wrong?" Vanya asked, trying her best to remain calm. The blonde shook her head, muttering something about a man named Carl, presumably her husband. "He's dead. Harlan tossed him aside like a rag doll, the same way you sent those policemen flying! What have you done to my son?" Sissy's breathing started shaky and fearful but now became full of anger.

"We don't have time for this," Diego said, beginning to march towards the barn but stopping as Sissy aimed her rifle at his chest. "Sissy, listen to me! I found my family. These are my brothers and sisters," Vanya said, pointing to each of her siblings. Slowly, Sissy lowered her gun as they all explained they were there to help her boy. But even then, she still had her doubts.

"Were you lying to me the whole time?" She questioned. "Of course not! I didn't know who I was before, but I do now. And we are not the monsters that everyone says we are. We're not here to hurt anybody," Vanya spoke honestly. In the middle of it all, Dusk could feel one of Klaus's hands go to her waist.

Sissy eventually nodded her head, leading the siblings inside the barn. When they stepped inside, they saw Harlan suspended in the air, energy crackling around him. Bursts of orange and blue light came and went in spirals, reaching the ceiling as the weather above worsened, becoming more and more colder. Vanya carefully used her powers to enter the forcefield surrounding him, shouting over the noise, hoping he could hear her.

As the rest of the siblings stood by, a loud crackle and a burst of blue light came from the field, gaining Klaus's attention. Though he couldn't see it very well, he did notice three people were standing at the far end of the field, one taller than the other two. Curiously, he tried to get a better glimpse. "Guys!" Klaus called out. Everyone except for Vanya looked in his direction, wondering what he saw.

"Oh shit..." Five trailed off, recognizing who they were. When Dusk laid eyes on the distant figures, one of them began to look very familiar to her. But she couldn't quite place her finger on it. "Who are those people?" Klaus questioned. "One's the Handler, one is Diego's girlfriend, and the redhead is-" "Victoria? What is she doing with them?" Dusk interrupted.

Five turned his head, seeing the shocked look on her face. "Wait, you know her?" He asked. "Yes! She's my friend from back in Dallas," Dusk nodded. Dozens of questions crossed her mind, none of them providing an answer, leaving her even more confused. Why is she with them? Is she the enemy? No, she can't be! It all slowly began to sink in, and the feeling was so horrible that Dusk tried to deny it.

"Alright, me and Diego are gonna go find out what they want. You guys stay with Vanya and the kid," Five spoke. "I'm coming with you guys," Dusk added. Five shook his head, telling her that he and Diego could handle this by themselves, making her even more emotionally disturbed. "Like it or not, I'm coming with you," Dusk insisted, following her two brothers out of the barn, into the seemingly endless field.

The snow crunched underneath their shoes, eventually reaching the end of the white vat and into the untouched grass where sure enough, The Handler, Lila, and Victoria all stood. "What do you want?" Five asked, looking very irritated. "To watch you suffer," Lila answered, grinding her teeth harshly. The Handler put a hand on Lila's shoulder, telling her to settle down before carrying on with her own response.

"We're here on official business. As head of the Commission, I've decided to eliminate the criminals responsible for the assassination of the former board of directors," Five glanced over at Dusk and Diego, knowing that there was no way he could deny the startling accusation. "You didn't tell them, Five?" The Handler questioned, her icy cold gaze shifting to him.

"What the hell, Five?" Dusk gaped, stunned by his actions. "I did what I had to do to get my family home until somebody reneged our deal. You set me up to fail," He responded, his words directed toward the woman in the white wig and expensive clothes. While Five and The Handler had their calm-toned spat, Dusk glanced over at Victoria, who kept a straight face. She tried to remember the good times she and the redhead had, having lunch and talking about their deepest secrets, but all she could think about was the utter betrayal.

"How could you, Vic? I thought we were friends!" Dusk whispered. "You know her?" Lila queried, glancing over at Victoria. "We've crossed paths on a few occasions," she admitted. Crossed paths? She's not even going to acknowledge our friendship?! "Enough. The point is, all of you are going to die today," The Handler said firmly, resting her briefcase on the grass and ending the side conversations.

"I don't like your chances, lady. There's eight of us, three of you," Diego scoffed. "You know, you're right. How about we change that?" With a snap of her fingers, hundreds of Commission assassins appeared on the field behind The Handler, all wearing different masks and holding military-grade rifles. Although Dusk, Diego, and Five hadn't noticed, the rest of their siblings saw the commotion and were as equally stunned as they were.

"What do we do now?" Dusk asked, leaning in close to Five's ear. "Well sis, we've got two choices: fight and die now or run and die later. Either way, we're food for worms," he replied. "Preference?" Diego inquired. "I wouldn't mind a few more minutes breathing air through the old windbags,"

The Handler reached into her coat pocket, pulling out a small piece of red fabric. And when the siblings noticed it was the impending signal to the assassins, they ran as quick as bunnies through the field, just as the Commission charged forward and opened fire in their direction. The adrenaline began to pump through Dusk's veins, and as she kept running, she couldn't help but look over her shoulder at the mob.

Suddenly she felt Five's hand on her shoulder, and without warning, he spacial jumped her, Diego, and himself a little closer to the barn. "Ugh! I feel like I'm gonna throw up!" Diego groaned. "NO TIME!" Five shouted as they ducked behind a massive red tractor, bullets ricocheting right off of it, providing them some protection. "Blink us to the house, Five!" Dusk shouted.

Five attempted to blink them inside, but nothing happened. He tried again, but still nothing. "Shit, I'm out of fuel!" He pressed his back against one of the tractor's wheels. Cautiously, Dusk slightly poked her head out, immediately hiding as more bullets flew through the air. Even though she was scared for her life, she could feel her inner rage grow inside her, and the more she kept it in, the more it wanted to come out. "I'll cover you! Get to the house!" She instructed, about to step into the Commission's view. "I'll help you out!" Diego offered.

Five tried to protest, but they ignored him, activating their powers. Astonishingly, Diego stopped the bullets in their tracks, inches away from hitting their intended targets. As her brother halted the bullets, Dusk threw an endless array of fireballs, some hit and burned their enemies.

Diego shifted the bullets to the side, making them hit a gas tank which erupted in fire upon the bullet's impacts before he and the raven went back into hiding behind the tractor, the assassins drawing closer. This is not the end for us, not yet! A high-pitched resonating sound pierced the raven's ears, making her look up and see Vanya fly out of the barn. Concentrating as best she could, Dusk's fiery wings returned to her, and she flew through the air, her wings flapping furiously as she joined her sister.

"How about we end this?" Vanya said, her gaze focused on the enemy ahead. Dusk nodded in agreement, muttering the words.

"Let's do it,"
