"Wait... you mean to tell me that this douchebag skipped your concert so he could sleep with another girl?" Victoria gaped as Dusk let her in on the details of the failed romance. "Mhmm," she could only answer as she focused on the road. "The audacity! Now, I really want to see him burn!" Victoria scoffed.

"As much as I'd love to host another Sebastian barbeque, I have something else in mind for him," At the next red light, Dusk hit the brakes and reached her hand between the empty cupholders, grabbing two pieces of paper containing a map and the vineyard's address. "Can you do me a favor and navigate, please?" the raven asked. "I'm not good with these maps, but I can sure try," Victoria offered, taking the papers from her friend.

The redhead's pointer finger trailed the paper as she figured out their current location. And within about ten to fifteen minutes, the two women had pulled into the parking lot just outside the venue. The time on the console now read 5:34 pm, meaning they had less than half an hour before the bride was due to walk down the aisle. The two women unbuckled their seatbelts and got out, walking up the wooden stairs leading to the entrance.

But Dusk stopped, realizing a staff member was checking off the names of guests on his clipboard. "What's wrong?" Victoria questioned, noticing her friend's worried look. "We're gonna have to find another way in," She whispered, gesturing to their current obstacle. Victoria's lips formed into a tight thin line as she went deep into thought. Her gaze darted around the front of the property, and just as the string lights automatically turned on, Victoria got an idea.

There seemed to be no way around it, with a few more staff walking around, seemingly patrolling the area. Out of the corner of Vic's eye, she saw the outskirts of some woods that led behind the vineyard. Maybe we can sneak in that way! Without warning, Victoria grabbed Dusk's wrist, leading her into the endless evergreen.

At first, Dusk was confused but quickly caught on. They took off their heels before stepping over the hedges, walking past the nearly 10–15-foot trees. The pine needles pricked at their feet, making the raven mutter incoherently to herself. She always hated the woods and anything to do with them. Dusk often heard horror stories of people being killed or having their bodies thrown in there, and the thought of that happening to her or someone else was most unsettling.

Another ten minutes had gone by and they finally broke out of the woods, stepping onto the white gravel, leading to their destination. Dusk and Victoria smoothed out the wrinkles in their dresses and put their shoes back on. "Hey, Dusky?" Vic spoke up. As Dusk turned around, Victoria reached into her dark locks, pulling out a few stray pine needles.

As they walked past the last leaf-covered wall, dozens of white wood chairs were lined up, some with people already sitting and waiting. More string lights wrapped around the archway covered with white flowers. The minister stood in the middle, the groomsmen and Sebastian were also present, talking amongst themselves.

The women sat in one of the middle rows, and they could hear the start of the wedding anthem. One by one, five girls wearing sage green gowns walked down the aisle with smiles. Dusk held back the urge to vomit, as the color did not look good on any of them. There was no doubt in her mind that Sebastian coerced his fiancée into dressing those girls like that.

FLASHBACK BEGINS...

"What do you think we should do about the color scheme?" Dusk asked, looking through different inspiration boards she had compiled on her phone. Some ranged from a mix of pink and black to dark blue and gray. For the most part, the wedding planning was going smoothly, as they already picked out a caterer, mixologist, and venue for their engagement party and wedding.

"Well, since my favorite color is sage, we could make that a part of the wedding," He suggested, sitting next to her on the sofa. Dusk had no problem that it was his favorite color, but the thought of the men in that color of suit didn't sit well with her. "What about you?" Sebastian inquired. The raven adjusted herself, leaning a little closer so he could see her ideas. Through the screen, Dusk could see a look of disgust.

"What's wrong?" she questioned. "Sweetheart, I hate to say this. But you have horrible taste in color," Sebastian commented. The harshness of his words hit her like a thousand bricks. He had never said something like that before. "What's wrong with wanting the bridesmaids to wear another color?" Her fiancé scoffed before taking a sip of his coffee. "Though you are not yet my wife, you will still honor my decisions as a wife is required to do so,"

"Those girls will not be seen wearing anything else other than sage. Do I make myself clear?" he stated. Dusk was too stunned to speak; he acted like a total control freak and groomzilla. Sebastian gritted his teeth, repeating his last sentence to Dusk. "Y-yes," she finally responded, slumping down into her seat.

FLASHBACK ENDS...

Just as the last bridesmaid reached the altar, everyone stood up as Here Comes the Bride started blasting, and the bride wrapped her arm around who appeared to be her grandfather. Her dress was simple, with a scalloped v-neckline and lace. Her long veil trailed right behind her, and in her other hand, she carried a large white rose bouquet. She's so beautiful, if only she wasn't marrying a complete dick.

As the old man handed her off, the guests sat and all the raven could do was wait for the perfect moment to strike. "Dearly beloved, we're gathered today to celebrate the union of Sebastian Wentworth & Miss Georgia Devins," The minister droned on for five minutes, reciting a prayer and words that sounded like utter bullshit to the two women. Can we skip to the good part, please? PLEASE!

"If anyone present has a reason why these two should not be wed. Please speak now or forever hold your peace," As soon as Dusk heard those words, she shot up out of her seat. "I OBJECT!" Everyone turned around to look at her, stunned. "Georgia, you may not know anything about me. But trust me when I say if you marry this man, you will regret it for the rest of your life,"

"I'm sorry, who are you?" the bride asked. "I'm one of Sebastian's exes. This man..." The raven pointed directly at him. "...is a dirty cheater! I caught him sleeping with another girl in our apartment! Not only that, but he's incredibly disrespectful towards women, treats us like we're objects, and most likely infected with dozens of STDS,"

Gasps erupted from the crowd, and immediately the guests were conflicted on who to believe. "What? No, I would never cheat! I don't even know this woman!" Sebastian chuckled, trying to ignore the truth. "Oh really? Then why did I hear you say last night, and I quote, 'At least Cindy's not as uptight. Wonder if she's still awake right now," The poor bride clasped a hand over her mouth, tears of disbelief filling her eyes.

"Are you serious?" She choked out, locking eyes with Sebastian. "No, she's a liar. You're the only one I-" Before Sebastian could finish his sentence, another woman, presumably Cindy, stood up from her seat. "I'm so sorry, Georgia. He said you were on a break!" that admission was all it took for Georgia to take Dusk's word. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" she shrieked, slapping her groom across the face.

Sebastian tried to recover the situation, making empty promises and vows of undying love. Despite his feeble attempts, he was unsuccessful as more women spoke up about their similar experiences. One woman even brought the baby she fathered with him, demanding his next child support check.

Dusk watched with glee as his perfect life turned to shambles right in front of him. Certainly, no woman would ever want him now. Dusk had poured the gasoline, and the other women set the fire ablaze. The bride eventually ran off, tearing off her veil and sobbing, while Sebastian's mother, sure enough, started beating him with a chair while swearing in Spanish.

As much as she wanted to stay and watch the show for a while longer, she grabbed Victoria's hand, and they ran out, stealing a bottle of champagne or two for later.
