Sam knocked on Jenny's door, after a couple of seconds she opened the door with Richie in her arms. "Sam, Carmen, Dean. What are you doing here?" She asked all four picked up on the worry on her face. "Hey, Jenny. This is our friend, Missouri." Sam introduced. She smiled at the mom, putting on Carmen's shoulder, as Jenny returned her smile. "If it's not too much trouble, we were hoping to show her the old house. You know, for old time's sake." Dean asked.

"You know, this isn't a good time. I'm kind of busy,"

"Listen, Jenny, it's important–" He insisted but was cut off by Missouri, smacking him on the back of his head, "Ow!"

"Give the poor girl a break, can't you see she's upset?" She scolded him before looking back towards the mom. "Forgive this boy, he means well, he's just not the sharpest tool in the shed, but hear me out." She stepped in front of them.

"About what?"

"About this house," She stated.

"What are you talking about?" Jenny asked, confused.

"I think you know what I'm talking about. You think there's something in this house, something that wants to hurt your family. Am I mistaken?"

"Who are you?"

"We're people who can help, who can stop this thing. But you're gonna have to trust us, just a little." Jenny looked very unsure about it all, but she did end up letting them inside.

Heading straight up to Sari's bedroom. "If there's a dark energy around her, this room should be the center of it. "Missouri explained, gesturing about the room. "Why?" Sam asked as the rest of the group stood near the door. "This used to be your nursery, Sam. This is where it all happened," She revealed. Sam glanced up at the ceiling, while Missouri continued looking around the room. Carmen glanced towards Dean, checking on him, he was pulling out the EMF meter.

"That an EMF?" Missouri asked, turning towards the two.

"Yeah?"

"Amateur," She scoffed, Carmen hid her smile as she knew Dean was getting irked at these remarks. He nudged his sister, then got Sam's attention showing the meter was going off, frantically. "I don't know if you boys should be disappointed or relieved." She started, turning towards them, "But this ain't the thing that took your mom."

"Wait, are you sure?"

She nodded her head.

"How do you know?"

"It isn't the same energy I felt the last time I was her. It's somethin' different," She replied. "What is it?" Dean asked. She opened the closest doors and took a step inside, "Not it. Them. There's more than one spirit in this place."

"What are they doing here?"

"They're here because of what happened to your family," Missouri started as she walked back to them, stopping right in front of them. "You see, all those years ago, real evil came to you. It walked this house. That kind of evil leaves wounds. And sometimes, wounds get infected."

"I don't understand," Sam muttered.

"This place is a magnet for paranormal energy. It's attracted a poltergeist. A nasty one. And it won't rest until Jenny and her babies are dead." She explained. "You said there was more than one spirit," Carmen reminded. "There is," She said, nodding her head. Then walking inside the closet once again and turning towards them, "I just can't quite make out the second one." She walked back towards them. "Well, one thing's for damn sure–nobody's dyin' in this house ever again."

"So, whatever is here, how do we stop it?"

💾

The group sat around Missouri's table, in her house. Different herbs, roots, vines, and other items littered the table. "So, what are all of these?" Carmen asked curiously. "Angelic Root, Van Van oil, crossroad dirt, a few other odds and ends." She explained, pointing to the ones with their matching names.

"Yeah? What are we supposed to do with it?" Dean asked.

"We're gonna put them inside the walls in the north, south, east, and west corners on each floor of the house." She explained. "We'll be punchin' holes in the drywall. Jenny's gonna love that." Dean remarked sarcastically.

"She'll live," She added.

"And this will for sure destroy the spirits?" Carmen asked the big question.

"It should. It should purify the house completely. We'll take a floor. But we work fast. Once the spirits realize what we're up to, things are gonna get bad."

💾

The night was different, it just felt off to Carmen. Maybe it was because she was about to go fight off evil spirits in her brother's old house where their mother died.  Or maybe it was the fact that she had found someone to talk more about her mother. Maybe it wasn't just tonight that made her different, but the whole day, the whole twenty-four hours were the things that were different.

Missouri convinced Jenny, who was still unsure of the plan, but ended up taking the kids and her out of the house. Now was the stressful part Missouri had been talking about. She took the basement, Dean took the kitchen, Sam was up in the attic, while Carmen took Jenny's bedroom.

The door slowly swung open as she walked inside with a hammer in hand and the bag of stuff in her pocket. She found the right wall, tapping to find the weakest spot before slamming the hammer into it. Banging it over and over again until the wall caved in and made a small hole. Big enough for the tricks.

But she stopped, about to dig the small velvet bag from her pocket when she heard a small light thud coming from behind her. Just before she went to see what it was, something violently was wrapped around her neck.

Dragging her to the floor, She tried getting it off but to get nothing. Opening her mouth to scream but only a wizee of the air that was left in her leaving her body. Trying to grab the small bag that has fallen out of her pocket, but it was out of reach.

Her throat was closing more and more. It became harder and harder to breathe. Bringing her fingers up to the curly telephone cord trying to pull it off. Taking the heels of her feet and slamming them onto the ground trying to get anyones attention.

"Carmen!" A voice behind the shut door yelled.

She didn't respond.

A few footsteps went away, then came running back, and the door was broken through. The two came to her side, also trying to pull the cord from her neck. Dean looked over to small bag and kicked it into the small hole she had made in the baseboard. A bright blinding light lit the whole room. When all the spirits left and the room's lighten went back to normal the cord dropped from her neck. Dean rushed back to her, while Sam held her in his arms as she kept gasping for air. Dean quickly untangled the cord from her throat. Pulling her into a tight group hug. "You're okay, you're okay." Sam soothed.

She slowly nodded her head. Looking between both of them, all while taking the deepest fullest breaths she could possibly. "Someone just take me home," She muttered, but it wasn't audible enough for either one to hear her.

💾

The four stood in the extremely messy kitchen. Looking around at all the cups, plates, and silverware throughout the place. The playpen, table and chairs were upset down and on their sides. It looked like a tornado had gone through and flipped the entire place upside down. "You sure this is over?" Sam asked Missouri, who took a moment before turning back to him as him and Dean had an arm around Carmen. "I'm sure. Why? Why do you ask?"

He sighed, shaking his head, "Never mind. It's nothin', I guess."

The front door's locked clicked unlocked, and the hallway light turned on. "Hello? We're home!" Jenny announced. As her and her kids walked into the kitchen they all looked around the messy place with a mixture of shocked and confusion. "What happened?"

"We can explain," Carmen quickly said, so fast it was barely understandable.

"Yeah, um, we'll pay for all of this." Sam added which made Dean look at him, confused.

"Don't you worry. Dean's gonna clean up this mess." Missouri insisted only fuelling the oldest confusion. She turned to see him still standing with his siblings, "Well, what are you waiting for boy? Get the mop." Dean started walking away, rolling his eyes, "And do cuss at me!"

💾

It was the middle of the night, and the Winchester's hadn't left, instead the three sat in the Impala in front of the house. "Alright, so, tell me again, what are we still doin' here?" Dean asked, slightly irritated.

"I don't know. I just...I still have a bad feeling,"

"Why? Missouri seemed pretty confident that everything was okay."

"Yeah, Missouri did her whole Zelda Rubenstein thing, the house should be clean, it should be over." Dean said. "Yeah, well, probably. But I just wanna make sure, that's all." Sam replied. "Yeah, well, problem is I could be sleeping in a bed right now." Dean remarked followed by a wide yawn. Carmen leaned forward and slapped the back of his head, "Are you awake now?" She asked, smirking widely. "Son of a bitch," He winced, holding the back of his head. He than slide back down in his seat, resting his eyes.

"Guys, look, guys!"

The two shot forward, following where Sam was pointing. Jenny was standing in her bedroom window screaming and banging on the glass. The three quickly climbed out of the Impala, sprinting towards the house. "You two grab the kids, I'll get Jenny," Dean ordered. Carmen ripped the door open, Sam and her rushed upstairs to where the kids were. Sam went to Ritchie's room. Carm, bursted into Sari's room after following her screams for help. A terrifying figure stood by her closet completely made out of fire. She turned to her bed, and scooped her into her arms before quickly running out of the room. Meeting Sam at the landing, who had the little boy in his arms. Sam followed her down the stairs, before putting Ritchie down on the floor, "Alright, Sari, take your brother outside as fast as you can, and don't look back." He told the young girl after Carmen sat her next to her brother.

Carmen was about to reassure the small girl, who was looking up at her with big puppy dog eyes, but was suddenly was thrown across the room. "Carmen!"

Pinned against the wall of the room across the house. Her brother quickly joining her, also pinned against the wall. It was like something was holding them against gravity. Like it never wanted them to move, barely giving enough movement to breathe.

The figure made from fire started making it way towards them. Appearing out of nowhere. "Carmen? Sam?!" Dean called out, before finding the two. He examined the figure in udder aw, but not breaking his gaze as he raised his gun.

"No, don't Don't!" Sam shouted.

"What, why?!"

"Because I know who it is. I can see her now," Sam's words were like magic. Like the only thing they needed for curse to be broken. Like his words helped pull the curtain. Down. Because there in front of them stood the absolute last person any of them were expecting to see.

Mary Winchester.

She looked exactly the way Carmen had seen her. The photo taken only a few days before her death matched the person, being that stood in front of them.

Dean's face soften, along with lowering his gun. "Mom?" He asked in complete and utter disbelief. Her smile was soft and warm, "Dean," She spoke, taking a step closer towards him. Turning towards the two, smiling at Sam. "Sam," He smiled weakly at him before her eyes trailed towards Carmen. "Emmaline? How are you so young? I heard you had given birth to a girl. What did you name her?"

"Carmen, she named me Carmen," She answered after a moment of hesitation.

Mary's smile grew wider, "Carmen..." She repeated looking off the side, as if thinking of a fawn memory. But her smile faded, "I'm sorry,"

"For what?" Sam asked, being the only one to get words out.

She didn't reply, only giving him a sad look. Walking a few steps away from them looking up towards the ceiling. "You get out of my house. And let go of my kids!" She ordered before once again bursting into flames. Entirely engulfed. The fire reached the ceiling before completely disappearing. The hold on the two youngest was gone, sending them to floor. All where stunned, not knowing what to say or do. All they could do was sit in silence as they proceeded with what just happened. "Now it's over," Sam finally spoke up.

💾

The next morning came quickly. The three hadn't slept at all and now where standing outside the old house. Dean and Carmen where standing by the Impala with Jenny, looking through some old photos. "You know-" Carmen started saying but couldn't stop from laughing, "-you were a cute but ugly baby." She teased making Jenny let out a laugh as well.

"Shut up," He replied, shoving her gently. "Thanks for these."

"Don't thank me, they're yours." She told him.

Carmen smiled at her before handing the small stack towards her brother, "No, put those in your box." She smiled at him before shoving them into her back pocket. The two told Jenny goodbye, before walking over to where Sam and Missouri were sitting, talking. "You ready Sammy?" She asked smiling sweetly at him.

"You know I take back what I said. You are exactly like your mother."

"How so?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

"She always put people before her. But when you were born she made sure you were happy. That you had everything your little heart wanted. And I can see that her tendency has rubbed off on you." She explained, making the young girl's eyes water up.

"Well you both have that in common. Carm puts everyone before herself." Sam added standing up and draping his arm around her.

"She loved that necklace," She said, her eyes looking at the red stone smiling fondly at the memorable stone. "It's her favorite thing." He replied, happy that his sister had something that special from her mother.

"Sammy you ready?!" Dean shouted behind them.

"It's Sam," He yelled back, making his sister laugh at the two's bickering. The two walked to him as Jenny walked past them. "Don't you kids be strangers," Missouri shouted just as the three were about to get into the car. "We won't," Carmen said back, smiling. "See you around." She said as her and Jenny smiled, waving at them. The three of them smiled back before getting into the car, Dean turned the engine on and they were once again back on the road.
