IMMEDIATELY AFTER LEAVING THE HALE HOUSE, SCOTT MCCALL PHONED HIS PARTNER IN CRIME, STILES STILINSKI. Getting the phone call from Scott, Stiles raced over to his house wanting to know everything.

Busting into the boys room, Stiles began to flood Scott with questions. "What did you find? How did you find it? Where did you find it? And yes, I've had a lot of Adderall, so..."

"I found something at Derek Hale's." Scott stated, plainly.

"Are you kidding? What?" the hyperactive boy questioned.

"There's something buried there, I could smell blood."

"That's awesome. I mean, that's terrible. Whose blood?" Stiles asked, wanting Scott to clarify.

Standing up from sitting on his bed, "I don't know." Scott answered.

"But when we do, your dad nails Derek for the murder. And then you help me figure out how to play lacrosse without changing, because there's no way I'm not playing in that game." Scott stated, while fixing his lacrosse net that Derek ripped, and threw the rod on his bed, walking out of his room with Stiles.

Unbeknownst to them, Aline stood in the corner of Scott's room hearing the whole conversation. That was one of the perks of being a ghost, she was literally invisible at times . Though she really didn't need to hear the conversation, because she had her own insight. She just needed to make sure everything was going according to plan.

She foreseen the future and if the McCall pack were to ever succeed in the future, she needed to make sure everything happened the way it was supposed to, even if that meant Derek spending a day in jail.

Seeing as it was still daytime, and Aline knew Scott and Stiles would be arriving at the Hale House during the night, she decided to go to her old studio.

Appearing in the abandoned building, she morphed into her ballet clothes.

Over the 6 years, she would always come back to her old studio and dance, it was what kept her sane for the most part.

At first, being a ghost was frustrating. She was alone, nobody saw her or even knew she was there.

Time had moved on without her, time never slowed down. She was just stuck in the middle by herself.

Seeing as she owned the building, when she went missing nobody tried to buy it. It was like her historical mark for the community, since she was known by quite a lot of people.

This was her happy place, this building is where everything started for her and no one could ever take it away.

Creating a still illusion, she made her old studio look like it was new again. Cheating a radio, she played some old french music and started dancing to the rhythm.

Starting off she did turn's into passΓ© relevΓ©. Then jumping into leaps that ended with her in tendu croise devant. A few pirouette's were added in between the dance and lastly she finished.

She felt somewhat alive again even when she knew there was no chance of her coming back to life, at the moment she was just a lost soul waiting to move on when she was finally set free.

After dancing her heart out, a smile formed on her face as she remembered teaching Cora how to do her first turn. Looking at the clock on the wall she remembered now was the time when Stiles and Scott would be making their way to the hospital to see if the scent matched on the bodies.

Changing her clothes, she now stood in a big red button up with a black belt tied around her waist, black jean shorts underneath and lastly black knee length boots to pair with the outfit. She knew fashion times had changed so why wouldn't she change with it.

Now that she was ready she transported herself to the hospital's restroom and walked out just in time to see Stiles ask out his childhood crush, Lydia Martin.

Sitting down in a chair, she held a book up to her face and waited for the body to sit down.

Scott and Stiles just arrived at the hospital, and while Scott went to the morgue, Stiles was currently trying to find something to do but when he turned to his left he saw the girl of his dreams, Lydia Martin.

Building up enough courage, he took his chance.

"Hey, Lydia. You probably don't remember me. Um, I sit behind you in biology." Stiles began to say while his arm stretched out to lean against the hospital wall.

Lydia twirled her hands in her hair, while she looked to the side. To Stiles it looked like she was trying to obtain a certain memory.

Continuing on, "Uh, anyway, I always thought that we just had this connection. You know, unspoken, of course. Maybe, it'd be kind of cool to get to know each other a little better." Stiles suggested, quickly getting to his point.

"Hold on, give me a second." Lydia said, removing an ear piece from her inner ear. "Yeah, I didn't get any of what you just said. Is it worth repeating?"

"Uh, no. Sorry" Stiles, stammered out. Then awkwardly took a seat in a chair next to Aline, but he didn't know that yet.

Seeing him sit down, she saw him grab a menstrual cycle booklet and read it upside down.

Turning to him, she brought the book down from her face, "Dig it up as you shall, the beast will still be on the prowl." she stated, straight faced.

Startling him, Stiles almost dropped the booklet out of his hands. "You really have to stop, appearing everywhere, don't you have anything else to do?"

"There's nothing to do, I'm already dead." she stated, plainly.

Stiles just sat there with his mouth agape.

"By the way, I would give Lydia some time before you start dating her."

The girl's name caught his attention, "How do you know about my crush on Lydia?"

"Stiles, je sais tout ce qui va t'arriver. Et pour cela, je suis vraiment dΓ©solΓ©." she replied, confusing the boy.

"What is that, Spanish?" the boy questioned scrunching up his face.

Aline rolled her eyes, "No, it's french." she corrected.

"Oh, so what does that mean?"

Knowing she couldn't reveal what she truly said she summarized it to the best of her non–giving away abilities. "I just mean give everything time, plus I think a rather nonchalant brunette is better suited for you." she added, leaving a bit of a hint towards the future, not that he would know.

"I don't think so. I think I'll only ever like Lydia." he stated, not knowing why he was telling a woman he didn't even know this information.

Aline just lightly smirked, "We'll see about that." she whispered.

Knowing Scott was about to come out of the morgue, Aline created a diversion. "You do know that you're holding that booklet upside down, right?" she stated.

Turning his attention to the booklet in his hand, he noticed that it was in fact upside down. Turning it right side up, Stiles was about to ask her something else when Scott came out, snatching the booklet out of his hands.

"Holy God!" He exclaimed.

"The scent was the same." Scott stated.

Stiles quickly turned to look beside him to see if Aline heard what they were doing, but noticed she was gone, again. Someone really had to get her a bell, he thought.

Turning back around to his friend, he stood up. "You sure?" he questioned.

"Yes." Scott answered.

"So he did bury the other half of the body on his property." Stiles concluded.

"Which means we have proof he killed the girl."

"I say we use it." Stiles said, starting to walk out of the hospital.

"How?"

Sharply, Stiles turned around to face Scott, "Tell me something first, are you doing this because you want to stop Derek or you want to play in the game and he said you couldn't?" Stiles questioned, although he knew the real answer even if Scott wasn't going to confess it.

"There were bite marks on the legs, Stiles. Bite marks."

Taking his friends' answer, "Okay, then we're gonna need a shovel."

And with that both of the boys left the hospital and made their way to The Hale House.

Scott and Stiles did live up to what they said, and in fact dug up the body buried in Derek's yard.

After finding it they called the police and the next morning waited outside of his house to see him get arrested.

While the police walked Derek out in handcuffs to the car, Scott looked to the side and saw Aline staring at him with a disappointed look on her face, then dropped his gaze to the ground beneath him.

Aline knew what Scott had done and practically didn't stand in the way of it but that didn't mean she wasn't disappointed because neither Scott or Stiles took the time to dig for more information they automatically viewed Derek as the bad guy.

As Scott's gaze was on the ground he felt eyes on him so he looked back up to see Derek getting put in the patrol car with a slight smirk on his face.

As soon as Derek got put into the patrol car, he saw Stiles making his way towards the car as well.

Seeing Stiles get in the car, Scott immediately turned around not wanting to be more involved than he already was.

In the car, Stiles faced Derek. "Okay, just so you know, I'm not afraid of you."

Derek just stared at the boy, then Aline decided to pop in.

Appearing out of thin air, again. "What about me?" she asked, sitting on the other side of the gate next to Derek.

Who was also startled by her appearance, but didn't show it.

"You creep me out most of the time, but you're not really scary."

Aline just shrugged her shoulders.

Then looked back to Derek who was still glaring at him. "Okay, maybe I am. Doesn't matter. I just wanna know something. The girl you killed, was a werewolf. She was a different kind, wasn't she?" he questioned, and Aline just put two fingers to her temple knowing how this conversation was going to go.

"I mean, she can turn herself into an actual wolf. And I know Scott can't do that. Is that why you killed her?" he continued to question.

Aline burst out laughing, she knew it was a horrible time too but since neither Scott or Stiles actually knew who the girl was to Derek, it was just funny to her.

Derek side–eyed her, then looked back to Stiles.

"Why are you so worried about me when it's your friend who's the problem? When he shifts on the field, what do you think they're gonna do, huh? Just keep cheering him on? I can't stop him from playing, but you can." Derek stated, then moved closer to the gate.

"And trust me, you'll want to." Derek answered, before Stiles got dragged out of the car.

While Stiles was getting scolded by his father, Aline decided to speak with Derek.

"While you're in jail, I'll probably drop by so you don't get bored." she stated, simply.

Derek just turned to glare at her.

"Don't you glare at me, you may have gotten older but I still have authority."

Derek dropped the glared, and just looked at her plainly now.

"I'm just trying to keep you company. I can also bring you a harmonica, as well." she said, with a slight smile.

The ends of Derek's mouth turned slightly upward, to represent a slight smile growing on his face.

Aline then focused her energy on her hand and patted Derek on the back before disappearing, because there was now a deputy entering the car.

α―½

As the day passed by, Aline held up her promise and did visit Derek in jail. She also told him to get out of the camera's so it didn't look like he was talking to himself, because you couldn't see her spirit on camera.

As time passed, she made him a harmonica to play even though he didn't play it, she could tell he was grateful for the gesture.

Then later in the night, a deputy walked in and said he was free to go.

Knowing where he was headed, Aline left and made her way to the highschool where Scott McCall was now losing control on the field.

She saw him runoff into the locker room and Allison shortly following behind. She didn't have to worry about him killing her because she knew everything that was going to happen tonight.

She also saw Stiles talking to his dad, and she knew Noah was informing him soon of the news on the dead body buried in the Hale's yard. She then saw him rush off to the locker room to inform Scott.

Entering the locker room, Stiles saw Scott with a smile on his face. "I kissed her."

"I saw."

"She kissed me." Scott said, smiling like a puppy.

"I saw that too. It's pretty good, huh?" Stiles stated, trying to be happy for his friend even though he knows he's about to blow it.

Sighing, Scott stammered out, "I don't know how, but I controlled it. I pulled it back. Like Aline said. Maybe I can do this. Maybe it's not that bad."

"Yeah, we'll talk later then." Stiles said, pushing aside what he had to say. Turning to leave when Scott grabbed his shoulder, halting his movement.

"What?" he questioned.

Stiles huffed, "The, uh, medical examiner looked at the other half of the body we found–"

"And?"

"Well, I'll keep it simple. Medical examiner determines killer of the girl to be animal, not human. Derek is human, not animal. Derek not killer. Derek let out of jail." Stiles stated.

"Are you kidding?"

"No, and here's the bigger kick in the ass. My dad ID'd the dead girl, both halves. Her name was Laura Hale."

"Hale?" Scott shockingly, asked.

"Derek's sister." Stiles stated, plainly.

Outside on the lacrosse field, Aline walked over to where Derek was standing and looked towards the male that was still out on the field, Jackson Whittemore.

Walking over, Jackson picked up a single lacrosse glove and inspected it. He knew it was Scott's. As he was inspecting the glove, he saw on the tips where the fingers were, they had little puncture holes.

He was confused to say the least, he saw how the McCall boy played tonight and he knew it was something in–human.

Feeling eyes on him, he turned around to see a man standing in all black and a woman standing in a white dress. Just looking at him from a distance.

He couldn't get a good look at their faces though because the light was blocking them.

Seeing the young boy look towards their direction, Aline chuckled lowly and they both turned around and walked away from the field.

While seeing the two, retreat Jackson swore he heard a soft angelic humming before the woman disappeared.
